Controllers and Music services

Everything seems to have latency lately. To the extreme of suddenly losing contact with the system (while it’s playing from our  library or  internet stream). when we start playing something, it takes about 5 seconds for the song to appear (although playing seems to be immediate); grouping also takes a while to show, and sometimes the volume won’t respond and other times it seems to change in its own. I would say this sonos, but of course they don’t have a conduit for that, so I yell into the void. oh and turn off the damn pop-ups on the support section, you’re not making any friends. 

Yesterday my system was working but this morning Apple Music had disappeared as a music service in the system. Only Line-In and TuneIn are listed. If I go to settings → Services&Voice → Add Service, all I see in the list is Last.fm and TuneIn. What is going on? Internet is working fine.

No puedo conectar Spotify a la app SONOS 

Since this morning and an update, all outside services disapeared. I can’t add Deezer it’s not proposed anymore. The services list is empty.please helpthanksCarole

hieach and every time there’s a system (HW) update it takes forever to installI tracked the issue down to… some Sonos speakers registered in my account are in a different house (my country house) and the updater keeps searching for *all* of my speakersI believe this behaviour started with OS2 This can only be fixed by Sonos, right? :-/

For the love of God please can someone help. For so many months now I’m in despair with the 6 Sonos speakers I have in this house!Everytime I try and play an album from my Amazon prime account (which was always working perfectly for 3 years) now isn’t!! It either doesn’t play the artist at all or plays 1 track or so and then plays something completely random. What is that about?!! I’m seriously tearing my hair out!! Please help someone. Thank you  

Is Teueplay available on the iPhone 14 ProMax?  It says it’s not supported, but I see something’s on here about trueplay working in the iPhone 14.   Couple it be iOS 17?  How long will it take Sonos to update if that’s the case. 

If I purchased Apple Music before I started using the streaming service can I play it on Sonos?

I can’t use trueplay anymore. I can’t retune the speaker because I’m afraid it’ll disable for good. I’m using iPhone 14 pro and I’ve used this phone to enable Trueplay at first. 

My system is constantly losing connection with Amazon, despite the fact I was quite happily using it the day before 🤷

In the last two weeks, my app freezes whenever I try to adjust any alarm.I can toggle an alarm off or on, but cannot adjust the alarm, delete and alarm or create a new alarm.Would prefer not to “reboot devices” as we have many installed in hard to reach locations.Happens on multiple iOS devices, so it’s not a phone storage issue.

I used to use Tidal and it worked fine. I switched to another streaming service for a while but left Tidal in the Sonos list of services. Yesterday I resubscribed to Tidal and it worked fine. Today it will not stream to Sonos. I have removed Tidal from the list and tried to re-add it but get an error message "something went wrong". Having read some other answers  I have checked my Tidal login details and changed the password but cannot add Tidal to the list of services. Any suggestions please? All other streaming is working. This applies to both phone and tablet (both Android).

As in the title - the icons for these services have disappeared in the iOS app. They do appear in the Mac app. Is this just me?Also - is there still no way to remove the Sonos Radio service. I tried it and didn’t like it.  thanks

Hello,My problem: SONOS cannot access my music library, unless I switch off ZoneAlarmWhat I have:3 SONOS One SONOS controller version 15.7 installed on my PC My music library on a hard disk on my PC The folder of my music library is shared for SONOS ZoneAlarm Firewall, version 15.8.200.19118Any idea on how to configure ZoneAlarm in order to solve my problem will be welcome. As being said, I can’t access to Trueplay Tuning on my iPhone 12. The iOS version is 17.0.Just got a Beam gen2 few days ago, and I’m trying to use the Sonos app to set it up. But it showed ‘not yet supported with this iPhone’. Honestly I’m super confused because iPhone 12 is a 3-year-old model and I do spot that you guys said iPhone 12 is certainly supported now. So I just don’t get it why it is not working. 

When trying to add Apple Music it asks for a Filepath. Where do I get this? (A grey haired dinosaur)

I have Sonos devices in 3 rooms, and I have a tablet in my kitchen that is assigned as the Center of the sound universe.I want an App, with just a bit of focus on useability.Top half:  Choose what I want to hear (Spotify/radio app).Bottom half: Volume level, both one for all and the indivisual levels.

Hi , I bought a Ray so I could group music in my tv room and my kitchen but I seem to be having issues . In the system screen - I only ever see on device - If kitchen is there ray isnt . Both devices are contronllable by the App but only if the other is turned off . Am I missing something ? I have tried to use the Play button on the devices but this doesnt help group them  All help welcome  

I don’t know what to do. I’m gonna have put a limiter on all the volumes and just have it really turned up just to hear it. I have no idea where it is getting this default really high volume from as I never turn it up that loud :s

It seems very limiting to me and I would of prefer if Sonos let you know in advance that your primary music source comes from Spotify and not from whatever you like to play from your phone.Spotify to me is very limited and hard to search for songs, always throw more modern versions of the songs not the original and if a musician is not on Spotify you won't find the song you are looking for.Youtube video is much preferred for me as I can find any songs that comes to my mind, plus the autoplay is way better than Spotify and remembers your preferred style of songs, Spotify autoplay is not smart this way and it just keeps throwing horrible songs.So now I have to play music from my computer not from my phone.

Using S2 - 15.7.1Every time we try to add, delete, or edit an alarm it locks up the app and you have to close it, then reopen it. This just started happening. Is this an issue with the latest version of the app?

Hello, I have a new Phone and New router, with Sonos Play 1 speakers. The router is 2.4G and 5G. I renamed the 5G so I can set up Sonos using the 2.4G connection. I connected my computer using the 2.4G, and tried to set up Sonos from the computer, but the PC controller told me I MUST set up with my phone. But….the Pixel will only allow a 5G connection which I cannot override to use the 2.4G connection. This means I cannot set up my sonos speakers. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I have a Sonos  arc and subwoofer. I have the Sonos app running on ios 16.6.1. The app very frequently disables the Account, System, Services and Voice and shows the cannot connect to the arc and subwoofer. There will be a period of minutes and then it will enable the options and then connect or ask me if I want to reconnect everything. In the mean time I am listening to something on the arc so actual playback is not affected. It seems as though there is a periodic connectivity issue between app and Sonos system which is frustrating when I want to use the app to change songs. I have ensured in iOS that the Sonos app has Local Network enabled but that in itself hasn’t fixed it. Anyone any ideas please?
