Controllers and Music services

Hello. I have recently moved house and need to connect my Roam to the new Wi-Fi. I’ve looked online and it suggests I have to go into ‘Settings’ but I can’t find this anywhere. I’ve looked in ‘Account’ but this just has my profile details not the Wi-Fi. It’s driving me mad. I’m on IoS and IPhone 6. Thank you

Anyone else have this issue?If I play a song direct in the apple music app on my iPhone (ie through the phone speakers or my AirPods Pro) it will show as Atmos or Lossless depending on the song.If I play the same song through my Sonos system connected the Apple TV 4K then it will play the song in Atmos/Lossless. For info the system is a Beam Gen 2, Sub Gen 2 and 2 x Gen 2 5’sIf I use the Sonos app on my iPhone and play the song from the Apple Music library within the app it will not play in Atmos/Lossless.I have 320mbps internet so speed isn't the issue.I have: - deleted and reinstalled the app - Reauthorised the Apple Account - Rebooted the InternetI can't see why when I use the music app on the Apple TV the music is played in Atmos/Lossless. But when I play the song via Apple Music within the Sonos app, it won't. Anyone know how to fix as it is really irritating my CDO? 😂 Thanks 

I just noticed the S1 app claims Deezer is no longer supported on Sonos. Is this right? Its still on the Services web page, though there’s no indication of S1 compatibility on that page.

sonos Android app 80.23.9sonos OS 85-0-65270Android 14 Kernal 5.10.218There is a repeatable bug in the android app where it can delete the wrong entries when you are editing a playlist. I have a playlist with 10 or so albums, open the playlist to edit delete two entries at the beginning then scroll down and delete, lets call it the 40th entry  press done Review the result and you will find that entries 1 and 2 have gone BUT entry 40 is still present and entry 42 has been deleted instead. I repeated this test 5 times and it happened every time What changes things is if you hit DONE on EVERY screen you have deleted something and you don’t scroll down to edit other entries first then it appears to delete the correct entries.  Such mistakes are easy to miss unless you are very careful in reviewing your changes and you are looking out for it which is why I suspect so few

i have googled and read online that you can access saved room groups through play.sonos.com.  i have gone to rooms section; selected a room and save groups aren’t there.  So, if you can how can you? if you can’t then why does material say you can

Any song which part of an iTunes/Apple Music compilation then indexed in Sonos, Music Library/Imported Playlists will not play on either my Windows 11 pc, any of my ios devices, or Sonos speakers. These tracks play fine in the Apple Music app on pc and ios devices. Songs in Sonos imported playlists that are not in Compilations play fine on all devices. Please advise. Thank you.

Still missing the functionality of the widget after the app update awhile back. Is this ever coming back to the app? It was great to have an entire page on my phone to manage my music throughout my entire home at a glance.

HiI am new in Sonos.By mistake I add Era 300 to second room and I reset it to assign to other but than after reset it left as unplugged. Is this will be visible  always or until I assign it again but in other room?I can't find any option to manage the rooms groups or speakers.Why there is no icon like remove from system or  delete room.It is only possible to create but no delete.How to manage this. What if I sell the produkt and it will be visible here.  

Hello, Is this a recurring problem with Era 100s not being able to have issue with Airplays (MacOS/iOS/IpadOS)I tried everything (rebooting and re-installing etc) and this problem persists. once in a 1000 airplaying my itunes or or other audio works but these speakers seem to have a problem…..streaming from the sonos is 100% working but why not this…. I used to have older Sonos One and they seem way more reliable.   

I also have the problem reported elsewhere that CBC doesn’t show in thenewly updated Sonos app. Just a comment that CBC works fine under NOSON, the linux unofficial app. 

Samsung S23 cannot connect to Arc. Wifi router isn’t accessible and cannot be hardwired. Router requires connection to specific SSID and, of course, requires password. Have tried every suggestion I can find. Arc is flashing green. Have tried hardwire from phone to Arc with no luck establishing a connection. Am I doomed?

Just suddenly this week, my Mac Studio cannot connect to my Era300+mini-sub (Office Sonos). It’s worked for me the past three years, but now won’t connect with AirPlay.Through Apple Music, when I attempt to connect, I get the message:The AirPlay device “Office Sonos” cannot be selected for audio output. I have 2 old play ones that I paired with 2 sonos era 100s and 3rd gen sub, can stream anything and all play, but when I stream an album from an iPhone to speakers only the era 100s will play ….. any advice will be appreciated,i know apple stopped airplay1 that's why I bought era 100s so these old speakers SONOS ONE could connect through bluetooth ?

Hi I am having issues with my S1 app and my play 5 Gen 1. I have tried connecting the play 5 to the S2 app but it telling me that it is not compatible and when I now try to open the S1 app it move to the S2. Can I connect the play 5 to the new controller or how do I get the S1 app to work. Clearly there has been some upgrades that have put a spanner in the works?

I’ve accepted that I now have to reset my MacOS 17.0 desktop app twice/day (when i bring my laptop to work and then back home).  It’s annoying, but whatever.However, riddle me this - my Music folder shows up at work, yet, at home, I am “unable to add (913)”.Same laptop, same app.  Just different locations and different “systems”.

What is the best way to manage double disks in my Music Library in Sonos?  I set the disk number to 1 and 2 in “Tag & Rename”, but this seems to be ignored by Sonos. I then set the track numbers to 101, 102, ...201, 202… but that did not work either in Sonos.  It seems that I have to include double CDs as two separate CDs, which is not ideal.  

I need to do some troubleshooting of a family member’s Sonos system I set up. This second system is in a different location. Can I change the iPhone Sonos app login to log in to this system (I have the username and password since I originally set up that system) without interfering with my own home system? 

I am dumping the Sonos products after they ruined it with the new app.  It never works correctly. Whoever made the new app should have been fired 

sonos Android app 80.23.9sonos OS 85-0-65270Android 14 Kernal 5.10.218 A minor but annoying problem with the Android App,  if you delete a playlist it will stay cached as an entry until you close and re-open the app.Thus if you want to delete a playlist and store a new one with the same name (as I was trying to do) then having deleted it when you go to add it as a new playlist the old one is still shown and it wont let you overwrite it.   You have to close and reopen the App to clear it. 

My Sonos app for Windows on my PC has stopped working. It says ‘We found Sonos on your system’ but then can’t find any products. Speakers all working fine from iphones. It’s just the PC app that isn’t. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the new version - no change….Any ideas please?

I have no way of adjusting the volume on a stereo pair of Play 3’s. They are not grouped. It says Stereo Pair Recent HistoryI just changed broadband providers however my router was connected to a mesh network that provided its own network (wifi and LAN) to Sonos and the Wifi was turned off on the router as it is now. When the broadband changed two days ago I had no issues, initially, with Sonos. However, the next morning I noticed that the Arc Ultra was not working and I had to power it off and on for it to re-add. That fixed the issue Then last night I was playing some music late at night and I tend to play it on all devices and i could hear the bedroom stereo pair really loudly Before the router change I had taken the two 3’s off the system as surronds to my Arc (not Ultra) and set them up as a stereo pair.
