HiThe new app’s icons are so large and not user friendly. Just comparing with the old app:The join and stop/pause buttons so large in the new app. It makes it virtually impossible to display a whole track name longer than 10 characters. I think these icons could be made smaller and rearranged to reduce the height of the card for each room. I’m not sure I need full volume sliders to control volume for a room I’m not in. Surely this could be replaced with a volume button which pops out a slider or something? Or users could change the selected room if they want to change the volume there.  The “Pause All” button has been removed. Can we get this added back please? The Alarms button has moved to settings and is requires navigating through about 2 menu options before reaching it. Could we move it back to the “Rooms” page please? I’m not sure why Alarms has been placed in Settings in the first place, as it’s not a setting, it’s a functionality/feature.  To exit the “Now Playing” view, you mu

Hi i have Sonos 100, Sonos 300 and Sonos amp all connected to the same network (WiFi) but i cannot stream music thru AirPlay as it asks a the “AirPlay Code” - Enter the on-screen code for “name of the speaker”.My question is what on-screen? I’m streaming from my phone. I’ve reviewed other posts and says to uncheck the require password from AirPlay settings, but from which settings?

It’s been confirmed by Sonos that “local Music Library is not going anywhere, though SMBv1 support has been permanently removed. Local Music Library searching is something that is still being worked on”.And on the roadmap that’s been shared, it states “Local music library search and playback: mid-June”.Now that SMBv1 has been disabled for music libraries, can we have confidence that the issues with SMBv2/v3 indexing will be resolved when the update does arrive?I have just tried adding my music folder which lives on a USB drive in my Asus XT8 mesh router. I have forced the router to use SMBv2 for the drive, and I am still seeing the ‘//path’ is no longer available message when indexing fails after a reasonable amount of time. Chunking my music up into groups of folders occasionally allows me to add a smaller folder, but then I see the error message again. In Sonos, the spotify app is using another spotify user within my spotify-family account. Cant seem to change to my user anywhere? The actual spotify app is logged in with my user so that seem right. Any ideas how to solve?

When I opened my app it upgraded now it will not play albums or playlists. Just keeps repeating the first track

After the last software upgrade :it run normally for a récent sonos move 0n a lan with the library on a usb key attached to router ax55 tplink. but it not possible to update a play list Sonos with the iOS phone !!!it is impossible to run with a old Sonos play 3 connected with the library on a key attached to netgear wndr 4300 !!!why !!

HiMy Sonos system/app isn't working properly. Previous version and latest has the same problem. Dont find a system, doesn't start (freeze) and has a long delay  on volyme and play/pause.Any one who knows what to do? I have a Android xiaomi mi 10 6gb ram. Regards Johan

Since updating automatically to the new sonos app, we've had issues. The app takes ages to establish a connection with the sonos speakers, sometimes it won't allow them to be turned on or off, the volume is all over the place. It's very slow and sometimes non responsive. We've done the full  router and speaker reboot, changed wireless channels and still the same. Hopefully there will be an app update fix soon to rectify the problems created on what was a perfectly good and easy to use sonos app. In this case, unfortunately, trying to improve it has made it into something I dread using. Now considering changing to a new speaker set up, but not sonos......shame, as I did like them pre new app!

Here, reddit, the appstore are all stuffed with complaints and 1 star reviews, yet Sonos haven't put out any response other than how courageous they are?This CEO needs to walk the plank, if not most of the senior management. It is unacceptable for a company of this size to act in such an inept and contemptuous manner. 

Moved SL One to new location. How do I set this new location up

So I have a play 5 and a Sonos sub woofer and my music is the Sonos Music Library which somehow comes from songs stored in my MacBook Air (2023).  Suddenly I am denied to play my music.  What has Sonos done?  Just out of the blue.   What if I were having to entertain using my device.  So I call Sonos support (1 hour wait) and a polite tech does what he believes will fix the problem.  I feel relieved.  Music indexing complete - music denied.  Second call (almost 1.5 hours).  He reads the ticket info and tries to resolve.  Finally he says something about Sonos is not supported by SMB1 (which I guess is a language or something in my MacBook Air.   Sonos drops it because it’s unsecured.  You now need version 2 or 3.  Sonos can do this with Windows and help those customers - Apple customers - sorry - too bad so sad.   I phone Apple - what we don’t look after 3rd party technology.  Two big companies with lots of income and no help - they simply abandon you.   I try a third route.  Geek Squad

It’s now been 2 weeks since i contacted customer support about the new IOS version of the app. That took 2 hours and was not resolved. The app does not allow me to connect to my streaming service and does not have my saved playlists. Since then, no word of an update. I have been forced into using the web version on my laptop since, which is slow and lacks the features and functions that i’m used to. Today even that has stopped working. And all the while i still receive emails from sonos shouting about their new products and deals. I bought a play 5 about 2 years before they decided it was obsolete and i couldn’t use it alongside my play 1s so basically turning it into a very expensive brick. Now i seem to be stuck with several more bricks. There isn’t a product they could offer that would make me by anything else from them. Good luck to all the poor sods who haven’t yet had the pleasure of having to deal with a company that cares nothing about customers.

Like others here, I am having loads of issues with the new app. I expect I may get used to it in time, but has anyone worked out a way to add tracks to Spotify/Deezer playlists with the new app? At present I can only see an option to “Save to Sonos Favorites”.  

I have two stores and rockbot can't be loaded in Sonos at either. I've done everything in my power to troubleshoot this, including removing services in Sonos, disconnecting in Rockbot, app uninstall reinstall. Been days. Has anybody else had this issue? Of course I can't get through to Sonos support since their last update.

Hi, My Sonos S2 desktop controller (Windows PC) is not opening up. It comes up with check for updates, click on it and it says you are up to date and won't go any further. I have deleted the controller and reinstalled but still the same….?Anything else I can do…?

In the former version of Sonos there were a running ticker when I played Radio Swiss Classic, that indicated the title of the music played.will this feature come later

Why does the new Sonos app keep randomly disconnecting and also why is it very glitchy and erratic, especially when using BBC sounds.  The old app worked ok but the new one seems to have issues. Are these being worked on and fixed?  It is making my Sonos not easy to use any more

Since the update everything is a MESS.  I have a lot of money invested in this system that, aside from minor annoyances, was working TREMENDOUSLY years. Since that fateful day  a couple of weeks ago, it’s been an nightmare on every level.  If it was just a clunky app, I could handle it; but, it’s actually made the entire system nearly unusable. WHEN WILL THIS ALL BE STRAIGHTENED OUT?

Can I uninstall the new Sonos app and reinstall the old one.  I do not like the new one. 

Wanted to download the Windows pc app to my notebook today since the phone and tablet version are so horrendous now Its gone!!  Only a web version which is not only the wrong way to do it its also missing the key functionality If sonos were trying to make me hate them and become an ex sonos user they couldn't have gone about it more efficiently 

Hello everyone,I am using two SYMFONISK speakers in South Korea. After the recent app issues, I was fortunately able to connect my speakers with the latest update. I am now looking to add a music service to the connected speakers.My profile’s  country in address section is set to South Korea, and South Korea is included in Sonos's YouTube Music availability list(YouTube Music on Sonos | Sonos). However, YouTube Music does not appear in my list of services. It has been over 48 hours since I changed the country, but YouTube Music still does not appear.I use an iPad, iPhone, Android phone, MacBook, and Windows PC, but YouTube Music does not appear in the list on any app or program.Even after contacting customer support through chat, they only advised me to power off both speakers, wait for 10 seconds, and then reboot them, without offering any other solutions. This method has had no effect, and YouTube Music still does not appear in my list. Is there anyone who can help with this issue?

Have had an issue with Sonos unexpected stopping in one or more speakers. recently stopped playing all together in speaker One(gen2). reinstalled the ap, which need an update. it will not allow me to click the install update bar. running diagnostic for about 4 hours. still hasn't stopped sending diagnostic.
