I purchased the Port to replace the old Connect. Can not get new Port to connect or even register on app to set up. Garbage

Try temporarily wiring the Port to the router with an Ethernet cable during the setup process.
Tried. Not successful. Hired tech again and after 5 weeks got system to work. Apparently new app has been fixed and new update to app worked
