I’m trying to get into the app but it takes me to an update. Problem is that the email address it is asking me for a password for is not my email. I’ve deleted the app. Rebooted the app. All no good. I can sign in using my correct email and password but this update screen has the wrong email so it’s saying my password is incorrect. Screen shot is below. Any thoughts appreciated. Cheers.
I have upgraded from a ZP90 to the new Amp. Initial problems it would not connect to the wifi even though it was in the same place as the ZP90.After many hours trouble shooting with Sonos they told me to hard wire at my expense. So I hard-wired in, worked great for a few weeks, last Friday it was on all day….Saturday it has disappeared from system. It now will not connect and when I try a new connect it can see the Amp, asks me to press the figure of 8 button then the light goes ‘orange’. Which i read as the light of death. So as Sonos are ignoring me anyone else got any ideas?
Hi all, I just got a Sonos Port, and was hoping to be able to stream to it from my PC via Airplay. After some Googling, I installed a program called AirParrot3, but when I try to use it to connect my PC to my Port, AirParrot asks for a password. I tried using my Network password and my Sonos password, but neither worked. Others who’ve had this problem received advice in these forums to disable a setting on their iOS device (I have an iPhone 6SPlus). However, I can’t implement this advice because the iPhone settings it refers to appear to have changed since then and I can’t locate them. (For reference, the Forum advice I’m referring to is here https://en.community.sonos.com/music-services-and-sources-228994/airplay-password-prompt-6813139 and here https://en.community.sonos.com/troubleshooting-228999/airplay-feature-asks-for-onscreen-code-6809361 .) If someone could help me get this working, I’d sure appreciate it! Thanks.
Hi all, amazon prime music not playing on Sonos zp100. Amazon music shows up as an option BUT when I press play, I get the pop up ‘get unlimited’ and no music starts. I don’t want unlimited just my Prime Music. Please help. What am I doing wrong?
Hi all,Recently updated to S2 as the S1 app would crash each time I searched for radio (thinking was intentional...).On S1 my Sonos Play:1 and Sonos SL were all working just fine. With the upgrade to S2 the SL speakers keep coming and going from the app(s). However, as of so far today, the SL speakers are showing on the Android S2 app. The S2 app on my Windows 7 desktop though… No SL speakers show up. I’ve tried restarting the app, resetting the controller, verifying the firewall, and cycling the router all to no avail.Any ideas?
I have 5 zp100 units set up in my house and for some reason 2 of the rooms continually drop out. I have verizon fios that connects to google mesh. The sonos amps are hard wired into one of the google mesh nodes so they don’t (hopefully) do anything wirelessly. I just tried setting up the mesh so that each of the zp100 units has a dedicated ip address, so hopefully that helps with the dropping out problem. However, now one of the units just flashes white and I can’t get it to show up in sonos. Googlemesh says it is connected to the network at the ip address I selected. I did run a diagnostic report and it is 2129878038. Would appreciate any help!
I have a flashing red battery light on my Move even though it stil has about 65% of the battery remaining - any ideas what the problem is?
Hi all. Hope everyone is swell.I have a few SONOS 1s, a Beam, and one of those IKEA speakers all happily working together.Over the summer I updated my wireless router from an old single band one to one of these new fangled (for me) routers with the multiple bands. I bought the seemingly popular TP-Link AC4000 Smart WiFi Router (Archer A20). Here’s the situation. My iPad and laptop both have never had issues with connecting to the SONOS system. They work great. My iphone, on the other hand, constantly loses it.All apps and OS are up to date. It’s not a distance from the router issue as they’ve all been tested mere feet from the router. I was just browsing SONOS on my iPad and had phone next to it and the phone can’t find the SONOS devices. This may be more of a question for the TP-LINK folks, but I wanted to try here first just in case. You’ll see in the screenshots that my phone is on it’s own 5Ghz channel. I suspect that is the issue but not sure why or how the router’s ‘smart connect’ s
I’m using a Vava projector with a PS4 and Beam. I have an Arc on the way and just got the HDFury Arcana. I have the PS 4 connected to the HDMI in on the Arcana. I have the projector connected to the HDMI out on the Arcana and the Beam is connected to the earc out on the Arcana. I have no audio. Will the Beam not work with this or is there something Im missing?
When streaming YT Music , specifcally my own uploaded musics through Shuffle or my own playlists , there are several issues:Songs will end abruptly and skip to next one with like 1-2minutes left in the song. (This happens on both my “rooms” . Tried toggling crossfade on and off. no change. It does not happen with other music services like amazon music. It happens more with my connect: Also, it only shuffles a very small portion of my whole library. and says 999songs on the playlist. Seemingly the 999 songs correlate with if YTmusic is sorted A-Z, Z-A, or Recently added.Would really like to have a smoother experience using YT Music with Sonos. Thank you for your time.
So...I seem to be able to connect the Move to any device (iphone, etc.). And I can connect the Peloton to any speaker (headphone, etc.). And I can pair the Move with the Peloton. But, when I start a ride/stretch it says no device is connected. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a solution?
There was an error..report: 112339379Playbar —> works finePlay1 individually—> work finePlay1 stereo —> worksPlay1s as surround —> error when setting up (but they show up afterwards in the room setting; but no sound)Did a reset of the speakers as well
My play 5 has suddenly stopped working through WiFi. It works when Ethernet cable is connected, but won’t pick up via WiFi. diagnostic submitted 1850325079
Just bought a new boost for my system and need to connect it to my router via a netgear Ethernet switch - any issues with my plan? The boost will be the only sonos product hard wired; everything else will be sonosnet. Thanks for the help
Mixcloud doesn’t connect. Sometimes it does, sometimes it don’t. I have 5 sonos items. At this moment it plays on 2, the other 3 I can’t get started. When i switch to radio or spotify, everything works ? This has been going on for months now, i have never had this trouble before in the past 5 years.
Hi, I recently did an update on my Sonos Move and upgraded to the new app. Since then the battery life on my Move has been extremely poor. For example, I fully charged the Move on Saturday afternoon and within 3-4 hours it was flat. I was streaming Spotify over Wi-Fi and at about 65% volume. This happened twice on Saturday. I had put back on the base fully charged and went flat again in a similar time frame. Today I turned on and looked at the battery, it was at 53%, this lasted just over an hour and a half and went flat, the app stated that there was still 28% left. Not sure what has changed but the battery life is extremely poor all of a sudden and is nowhere near the purported 10hrs. Unit is 7 months old. Curious if anybody else has experienced this?
Hi all - have been using sonos on my samsung galaxy phone for a few months and had an issue linking to apple music inside the sonos app. It originally asked me to reauthorise apple music - then now just goes to a blank screen and does not progress. I click “Add a service” then “Add to sonos” then “Im already a member” then a red circle spins for a couple of seconds on a blank screen then that screen stays blank. Can anyone please help. Much appreciated.
I use to love SONOS but since the big “upgrade” push the stability of the system has been awful. Now my very expensive Move speaker won’t play. It dropped off yesterday and I took about 10 attempts to reconnect it. Managed that and the app won’t play it even though it now recognises it. As someone else said, very expensive paperweight. Come on SONOS, you use to be really good!
Hi guys, Weird issue: I’ve my LG C9 TV set to passthrough/eARC, and Dolby Atmos works just fine. However, when I play non-Atmos content (5.1) I can hear no dialog track from the movie, and the Sonos App shows Stereo 2.0 as played content. Turning off eARC or changing from passthrough to Auto or PCM makes 5.1 content hearable, but only at Stereo 2.0 and not 5.1 This is only affected by content from Apple TV. Native TV apps are playing correct sound formats via ArcAny help would be most appreciated.
I have 4 Sonos ones and a play 3. The last of the Sonos ones I purchased recently was very difficult to connect to my system, ( I had to use Ethernet cable to speaker). Over the last few days this latest speaker keeps disappearing off the controller app. I have to unplug it and plug it back in again for it to reappear in my system. Even though it is not visible in the app, it is still playing the music that was last selected. What can I do next.
Hi, I have daily issues with my sonos speakers (2 x Play 1) connecting to online services, i.e. Deezer, Spotify etc. Every day the app comes up with 1002 error loading tracks... Happens on 3 phones we have that control the speakers. Our internet is fine, and speakers connect fine to the internet. Sometimes it takes hours to get them to work, and sometimes we give up, we turn everything off and on again (speakers, internet, phones with app etc.) and nothing seems to improve it. I try to submit support diagnostics and tries. The wheel spins for about 30 seconds then comes up with ".....could not be sent....". I have updated to the new S2 controller and is says Sonos found on this network - update your system, I select update and put in user/pass, circle spins for about 10 seconds then goes back to the same screen and doesn't update at all. I have reset the app etc. etc., nothing changes. Really starting to get annoyed with them as they basically cannot be used at all. This is also not a
Hi whenever I try to shuffle my personal music library on Google Play Music the app displays the ‘busy’ spinning circle on the screen for approximately 10 or 15 seconds and then it times out with the error code 1002 (and occasionally 1001). I believe this is because I have over 10,000 songs in my collection on Google Play music. If you’re unfamiliar with GPM it allows you to upload your entire personal music collection to the cloud for free and play them any time you want from any device, so over the years I have amassed quite a big music library via this service. I suspect the problem is one of either two things or both. There may be a limit to the number of songs that can be added to the Sonos app playlist at any one time or/and the Sonos App will wait for a response for Google Music (and maybe other similar services) for only a given period of time and if it doesn’t receive a timely response, it will error out either with error 1002, or error 1001 and will assume there has been a ne
My S1 Product drops the sound every now and thenwhen i group them together with play1 and playbar its the same, S1 drops sound, not S2 they play all the time.Annoying Why?
I have CenturyLink provided router and internet service. I have a NetGear router in a different area of my house that is wired to the CenturyLink router. I am using the NetGear as a wifi extender and have a few devices wired into the NetGear. I wired the Boost into the NetGear because that physical location is helping the Sonos system work with a Connect that was too far from the CenturyLink router and had previously been consistently cutting out. With the Boost in this location, all my Sonos devices are working well, no connectivity issues. The issue I am having is that the Sonos app will only work if my smart device is connected to the NetGear 2.4 or 5.0 wifi option. If my smart device connects to the CenturyLink 2.4 or 5.0 wifi option, the Sonos app won’t see my system. Will I always have this issue whether my Boost is wired to the NetGear router or the CenturyLink router? If I connected the boost to the CenturyLink router, then anytime my smart device automatically connect
Hi!Lately, I have been having an increasing amount of connection issues with Mixcloud. The error message I get most frequently is:> Unable to play ‘...' - unable to connect to Mixcloud. It just goes through the queue and skips everything that is from Mixcloud. Or it may start for a brief moment to be unexpectedly interrupted.I have submitted a diagnostic under the number `1543128233`.I get it with both a Sonos One SL and a Beam. Spotify plays fine.
