It seems I’m stuck. Sonos has worked well for years with my sonos connect hard wired and everything else connecting via this.  this summer I purchased a Move for the only room without sonos in it and have just had problems since as so I’ve found out, it doesn’t connect to the sonos network. I have to have range extenders or the like or I simply don’t get Wi-fi coverage throughout the house. I have a DrayTek router supplied by work for VPN so that can’t be changed. From what I’ve gathered mesh Wi-fi (which the router supports) won’t work with sonos. So I’m stuck with one room never being able to stream the same time as the others, which to my mind is the main reason I went with sonos to begin with.  why doesn’t move support the sonos network?Any other ideas about what I can try? I can’t even buy a boost as this is fir sonos network I gather. 

Can someone tell me how to stop the crackle/ static noise on my sound bar hooked up optically in front of LG C7P? Seems like a lot of people having this problem and theres no fix. diagnostic #8262397 .

Hello,Since I upgrade my App to Sonos 1, I can’t reconnect my Play 3 and Play 1. It works until I connect them to the Sonos WIFi and then the system can’t find them after pushing + and start/pause.can someone tell me whats wrong ? Thankscarole

I recently purchased a SAMSUNG - QE65Q700TATXXU. I’ve connected it directly with an optical cable to my Sonos Playbar which has two one speakers as rears (gen2).I’m experiencing a lip sync issues when using Sky Q - has anyone else experienced this?

Posting this in case it can help someone else with a similar situation.Background: 8 Sonos components in the house. A mix of legacy Connect, Connect:AMP, a newer model Connect:AMP, several Sonos Play:1 and Sonos One’s. All on Sonos S1, all on WM:1 (House Wifi) network.Netgear Orbi RBR50 router and two RBS50 satellites 2.4GHz Channel 1.Everything was working GREAT for YEARS.Then, I added a 9th speaker, a Sonos Move. This is where it starts getting weird.Speakers start dropping off the iPhone app. My son’s iPhone app… we are looking at them side-by-side… some are on my phone, some are on his phone, some are on both, some are on neither. Sometimes they would pop back on mine and then pop off again later.I figured it was just a software update issue. 2 weeks went by and it didn't magically fix itself.Did adding the Sonos Move cause this? I still can’t way for sure if it was coincidence or not. Anyhow… the really weird part… ALL of the speakers are still showing on my wired Windows 10 PC So

I have recently updated to the sonos2 app and following all the guidance and then troubleshooting the speaks still will not play.  the app is stating that it is connected but when the music is selected to play it simply will not play.  please help

Move unresponsive with flashing white light

Hello, I’ve problems with Spotify playlist on the alarm. It does not start. I’ve a premium account, so i pay for Spotify with a family account.Streaming is no problem from devices. I’ve made several diagnostics and contacted Sonos (in the Netherlands).I’ve no issues regarding no network connection or whatever. Radio does work. Spotify does not work on a alarm, always the chime sound instead of Spotify playlist. Tried on Play3, AMP so no device related problem.Situation: Everything is S2 upgraded.on bottom floor: cable connected Boost (prime router, ASUS imesh network), Arc, 2xOne SL, Sub (gen3) second floor: two separate Play3 third floor: cable connected Play One on cabled imesh ASUS network, Play3, AMPI’ve no problems with Wifi, no problems with Sonos. The’ve checked the network and everything was within “safe” connection zone (all green). Can someone please tell me why doe the Spotify account not start in the morning? It had been working fine before. The problems started round june/

When I play Connect alone it comes on with occasional cut outs. The I add a zone it stops completely. If I start with another zone then add the connect it will play. I have rebooted and competed a factory reset.

I’ve followed all the steps, numerous times, sent emails (nothing), submitted diagnostics loads of times (nothing), tried ringing (nothing). The old app was fine but the new one is just haphazard in finding my system. I’ve changed and upgraded routers to improve connection, reset and factory reset all the devices, works fine one minute and not the next. Everything else in the house works fine. It’s just sonos device connection since the launch of the new app that’s unreliable and frankly driving me away. any help?

I have a Verizon Fios box hooked up to my TV. I have used Sonos for years and I have used both at the same time for years. I'll have music on while someone is watching TV. Just recently now , when the tv is on, and I start sonos app the tv goes to a blank blue screen. My apple tv works but the verizon fios box does not. Now while I'm actively investigating this, I find that once the screen goes blue and I shut down the sonos app the verizon box has to be turned off then back on for it to function normally. Not sure when this started to happen. I update my BigSur OS when apple sends around the updates and I'm wondering if that has something to do with this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Came home today to find my Sonos will no longer work. It won't play music, all services have disappeared and cannot be added. Worked last night.

When streaming audio from a browser using iPhone and airplay (primarily referring to YouTube), the audio stops if the browser is minimized or phone is locked.  Are there settings that can be changed in iPhone or Sonos to prevent this?

So I was listening to music in both rooms then all of a sudden it stoped connecting to the sonos 1 through wifi and I can’t get it too connect. I done a diagnostic ( 65327139). I’ve reset it disconnected and reconnected with the Ethernet cable etc and nothing works 

My S2 app suddenly will not connect to the speakers but I can still play music through Alexa. 

I have a house with an S1 setup with 3 amps, 3 play 1 and a move. It also had a Sonons One that i have now tried to install in a flat i own where i have a sonos s2 setup (beam plus ikea speaker). I tried to add the Sonos One but it does not appear in the S2 app. If I run the S1 app it detects the existing S2 system and only allows me to continue on S2. I tried factory reset on sonos one and restart in wired mode but without success. Any suggestions..?

Hi there.  My speakers keep going out of sync.  I’ve followed all self helps inc creating own wifi channels and regrouping speakers but keep doing it.  The support diagnostic number the last time they faulted is: 146769554.   can you please help?  They’ve not always done this, but this problem has been persistent for last 12 months and is getting on my nerves now :(thanks.

I followed the instructions from here; https://support.sonos.com/s/article/1096?language=en_US.  (unplug, hold play/pause button, plug-in, hold until orange-white blinking) The light went through various speed of blinking / fading, and then turned off, after about 5 minutes of holding down the play button.  It did not flash orange and white.  I tried this many times, with long periods of no power. An earlier troubleshooting conversation here:suggests that the playbase has a Connect button, but does not explain where.  The support comment says to look at the page referenced above and to “See pictures (click the inserts) for the location of the Connect Button.”  I don’t see any pictures on page and don’t know what “inserts” are.  I don’t see any clickable links.  Does Playbase have a Connect button?  Any other suggestions?

I had hoped to get support directly from Sonos Customer Support, but it does not appear they are taking calls right now, likely due to some customer support Armageddon event like the one I am experiencing.Two days ago, my speakers have just stopped working. When I attempt to hit play, I see the error message: “Unable to play … Unable to Connect to XYZ”, the app flashes (reloads), and basically gives me a big FU. In the error logs, I am seeing errors such as this: “10/31/20, 11:23 AMUnable to play 'KPCC' - unable to connect to TuneIn.” It doesn't appear to matter what I attempt to stream or playback.The speakers are connected to my Wifi AP with excellent signal strength, the internet is working fine, and no recent configuration changes have been made on any of my network gear. I tried rebooting all of the systems, but not reset them, unaware of what data I might be losing if I do. Just added 2 Sonos SL as surrounds in my family room paired with playbase and sub.  I previously had play 3 surrounds in the room but moved to a new room when i bought the SL’s.  I have a single Sonos One hardwired in another room and all other Sonos devices (12) are wireless.  In general my system is very robust and the play 3’s worked well and still work well in the new room.  When I installed the 2 new SL’s the audio is breaking up when using airplay and sometimes drops out entirely with audio only coming from the playbase.  Happens at the very beginning of any airplay session and when changing tracks using Apple Music from my iPhone.  When playing through the Sonos app using music services no issues.  Any ideas on how to solve?  I’ve already tried restarting my network (Eero), updated and restarted my iPhone.

Hi, i bought a sonos move, playbar and a sub 6 month ago. It worked perfect together. We moved to a new apartment a few months ago and now i cant see the playbar and the the sub together with the move. Sometimes i can see the three products but i cant play them together and most of the time i just cant find the playbar and the sub. What can be the reason? Maybe a low quality of wifi connection?? 

Added boost and tv goes to white screen. Cable tv works fine if I power off the Boost. Turn tv on plug in Boost and white screen comes within minutes. Obviously Boost is impacting cable tv signal but how do I fix it? No problem with previous sonos product.

I am on a pure S2 system, using the S2 app. A bridge is no longer shown as a system component when I am looking at the system in the app.Yet, when I go to the website, a bridge is still shown as registered with my account. I can checkmark it, and it is even eligible for an upgrade. I’ve recently added a ZP90 to my network.  Sine then I’ve been having terrible problems with packet loss,  loss, especially to anything leaving the network, going outside.  Internally I’ve noticed that it seems to take several packets to “wake up” the network. I thought ATT was the problem and they have been out, put in a new modem and cleaned up a couple of bride taps.  Always good to do, but the problem stayed.  I pulled everything from the system and no loss to external pings, , pulled everything back in except SONOS ZP90 and still a problem. I switched etherent ports on the back and no errors now.  I don’t find any documentation calling one IN and the other OUT, but it appears to be so.Any information on this?  I need to make sure that I stay stable. Mike S.
