Static noise coming from Sonos. Diagnostic report number 324301701
I am currently in Haiti. My Sonos AMP connect plays music via soundcloud, but will not play all the music that I look up. It says that the access is denied. I tried changing my VPN to a US VPN and it works on Soundcloud, but not my (Soundcloud) SONOS S1 app. Can this problem be fixed or will it not work?
My Sonos devices are unavailable on random occasions. No obvious pattern. I am playing music on the Sonos One in my kitchen try to add another room to the group and get the message ‘Unable to connect to device. Try again later’ (see screenshot below) All other wireless devices (phones, PCs, iPads, radiators, cctv etc) work fine, only Sonos seems to have this issue. Does anyone have any ideas? When every other device works fine I feel this is likely to be a Sonos issue rather than anything else. I’m really getting a bit fed up with this problem randomly occurring, especially considering the amount this equipment costs. Ideally I would like to email the below screenshot to Sonos and ask them to look into it but I can’t seem to find a support email address.I submitted a diagnostic report with reference: 787715455 if anyone can do anything with that.Any ideas welcome!
I’ve been using Sonos for 8 years now, with 10+ devices, and never had any issues. I have always had either a bridge, or hardwired one speaker into my router. I purchased a mesh WiFi a few weeks ago, and upon initial setup, everything on my Sonos network was working great. I had hardwired one of my speakers into a node that was being used as a bridge. Within the last few days I’ve been having all sorts of troubles with my Sonos. Today, my iPhone shows all my devices present, but my iPad only shows 4 devices. My surround (setup as basement) says that it is not configured, and one of the speakers does not play anything. I realize that this is probably having to do with the mesh setup (which I have since uninstalled), but I have no idea how to get things back to the way they were. Any help would be appreciated, as I’m at my wits end!
I got error 107 when iu tried add music form my NAS to SONOS listHow to fix it?
Hi, I’m trying to connect a used Boost and I can’t connect it to my wifi, I rebooted the Boost, rested the router, used different cable and still saying your Sonos product was not found!
I have a Linksys Velop Mesh system in my home connected to my Xfinity modem. I also have a guest network for a separate access point for the tenants in the adjoining duplex. My Sonos system can’t see the primary network created by the mesh system. On other threads people have suggested going into ‘bridge’ mode in order for Sonos to be able to see the mesh network. But as I understand it, bridge mode would close the separate access point I created for my tenants and put us all on the same access point. Is there an alternative to ‘bridge mode’ for Sonos to be able to see my mesh network without losing my other access point to bridge mode?
Bought a brand new Sonos Move from Sonos. (already have one) and upon setting it up it does not seem to charge. It has been on the charging ring for 6 hours and the red/amber charging light is just flashing. I tried putting it on my other Move charging ring but no different. Very frustrating… Any tips on how to resolve this? Thanks!
My Symfonisk made a random noise when we weren’t using it. It only lasted a second or so and sounded like interference. A few minutes later it happened. After it happening three times I unplugged the Sonos but it strangely still happened after it was unplugged. The diagnostic number is 987395047. Would anyone be able to tell me what’s going on?
Hello all, I have a play 3 that has disappeared from my sonos network all of a sudden. The flashing light-type is not familiar. It is a quick blip-flash, not the normal, steady flashing white light I have dealt with now and then over the years. I have gone as far as attempting a full factory reset to defaults by unplugging and holding the mute button while re-plugging back in to no avail. I have also had an ethernet cable connected directly during troubleshooting. I am suspecting a bad power supply. Any other suggesstions? And if replacement parts might be needed, is it worth it? This play 3 I’m guessing is around 7-8 years old
Hi all. So I got the Sonos one(three of them) and the sub. I did the initial setup and all was good. One day the app wouldn’t connect to Sonos and now I have tried reconnecting all of the products… it always says… product it isn’t shown.. unplug and replug to finish setup. I have connected all to WiFi (same network) I unplug and plug back in… still undiscoverable. When I initially set it up it asked what room it was in and all that. Now it lets me add system… I hear the thing, connect to WiFi successfully….then nothing. Please let me know if you have had this issue. I have the arc in the way and am currently unable to enjoy my system.
The light is also flashing orange
Hello, I have lagging problem with my sound Sonos system. Since I installed TIDAL PREMIUM (HIFI LOSELESS HIGH QUALITY AUDIO FLAC) I listen to quality music and since then my sound has not stopped lagging. I also lose random speakers and it comes back after a few seconds especially when I skip or move the music forward or back. I communicated with 2 sonos technical specialist and this is what we did:-Android update, -Sonos S2 update,-Reset router,-Reset all speakers,-Use direct ethernet cable to speaker,-Uninstall apps,-Play FLAC files alone on my phone (NO TIDAL),-Disable compressed mode. → All this do not solve the problem at all!! Take note that I have 3th generation sonos speakers. I also have newest genration wifi with 8 antenna mesh router with high speed 450Mbts (real test).I also have the GALAXY S20 cell phone well updated without battery safe mode… Both test with TIDAL and FLAC AUDIO FILES on my cell phone create lagging issue on my sonos system. The problem never occur if I us
Really frustrated with the system fora few months now.The whole system keeps disappearing! I’m having to switch off my WiFi and then back on again to try to find it. It’s happening more and more. Spoke to Sonos and sent a diagnostic but nothing turned up.It can be playing but when I go to add another song the whole system goes again!!Hate having problems with Sonos and this is the worst I’ve had.
I’ve changed my wifi password using iphone app for S1. Tried to play music and a pop-up notice advised it can’t find server. On my mac, I’ve opened S1 app and no music library just pop-up box headed sonos set-up; existing or new. I selected connect to existing but it states system not found. I’m unable to connect an ethernet cable as have 3 amps with entwined wiring in the wall and my router and bridge are not close enough. I’ve updated my sonos when I’ve changed my wifi password before. Don’t understand why this is so different. Before I throw my sonos in the bin, are there other options?
I have a WD My Cloud. It works great. I deleted my itunes from it and added it again. Now all my Sonos Playlists say "can't connect to my cloud."
I have a Sonos Symfonisk, AirPlay2 compatible speaker in my Kitchen (and other Sonos speakers in other rooms)The room is called “Kitchen”In the Apple Home app, the Kitchen speaker is also in a room named “Kitchen”I play music to the speaker sometimes through the Sonos app, sometimes from AirPlay from an apple device (iOS 14.2)I notice that the speaker name keeps changing from “Kitchen” to “Kitchen Speaker” after a day or soI don’t want it called “Kitchen Speaker”, I just want it called “Kitchen” so that the Airplay2 controls show it as a speaker with name “Kitchen”. The name “Kitchen Speaker” is too long and doesn’t look good in the AirPlay2 controls. Why does the name keep changing? Is it because the device has the same name as the room?
I have multiple speakers. In an attempt to reduce “bouncing” I invested in a Boost which I have connected to a TP Deco mesh main unit from the router etcin other rooms I have a Deco slave unit.Should I be connecting my other speakers to the Deco via cable or not?The bouncing does not seem so bad but now music occasionally drops. Any advice or an idiots guide of what I should be doing would be much appreciated.
Hi,For 6 months now one of my Sonos One speakers has been rebooting itself during playback. Playback stops, the white LED pulsates on and off, and the music playback does *not* resume.I use either Spotify Connect or via AirPlay from my iPhone. I have three Sonos One speaker and a Playbase/Sub combo, and this specific Sonos One is the only speaker that reboots itself. In my opinion, the volume level seems to be a factor, although this is an observation rather than a scientific measurement. My apartment is a single floor, open plan layout, and my AmpliFi Router HD base station is located close to the centre of the apartment, meaning that no device is more than 6-7 metres (20-23 feet) away (as measured straight line, ignoring any walls). My AmpliFi reports the following information about this Sonos Speaker: Signal: 83%, Rx Bitrate: 48.00 Mbps, Tx Bitrate: 24.00 Mbps. This morning it happened again, and within 5 minutes I submitted a diagnostic, which has reference number 647034020. The r
Since last update, play all button is not available anymore in artist radios and top tracks. I have to play music by music. This is using Tidal inside Sonos apps. Anyone know how to get the button back? Tks.
I”m a network technician. I have 16 sonos speakers, some wired, some wireless, some paired, some singles. Just added, Part of this collection is a playbar, sub, two Play 1’s . Network is 4 point mesh system, three remote wifi are ethernet backhauled. No speakers are more the 20 feet from a wifi point, or are wired direct into a ethernet switch. Gigabit internet connection, but I play 90% of my music from my 8 bay Synology NAS.I am having a TERRIBLE time with this system now. Songs skip frequently before completing. It is maddening. Rarely is a full song played. Also, possibly related, possibly not, when I group all of the speakers together to play ‘whole house’ it can take 5 min before some of the speaker come on. Sometimes if I move the collective volume slider up or down, the remaining will pop on.Diagnostics: Your confirmation number is: 2099408113 Many thanks,StephenCary, NC
Hi, We got 4 sonos player 1 speakers in the flat. Since December 2019 when using sonos the songs skip to the next song before finishing (this occours with Spotify, YouTube Music and Sound cloud through the sonos app). E.g. We can't search and play a spesific song without the song skip before being played through. If we liste to a channel or radio through sonos it normally works fine so it has something to do with the app and not interference. We also tried to play sonos directly from Spotify to the speakers without the app and it seem to work fine. In other words it is the app and not the wifi that is the problem. I have Sony phone that I use and my girlfriend has an Iphone. We have used the same phones for a year now and the problem started in December. We are also having trouble with getting all 4 speakers to play at the same time. Strangely, the speaker next to the wifi is the one with the most trouble and the one furter aways normally got connection. We have tried to re-install
Sonos thinks I upgraded to Sonos 2, but I didn't. Now it won't recognize my older speakers. I deleted my Sonos 1 apps, and re-loaded them. The icons clearly say Sonos 1, but the app still claims that my Play 1 and my Sonos Connect Amp are incompatible. How do I fix this?
I just joined the Sonos community and set up a pair of One SLs in my living room and linked them as a stereo pair (Will connect to Arc and Sub for surround sound once they arrive). I purchased the Amp (connected to turntable and bookshelf Paradigm speakers) so I could stream my vinyl from the basement up to the living room. I started spinning a record and attempted to have it play on the SLs but no audio came out. When I unlinked the SLs as a stereo pair, the audio worked and came out of both SLs equally. Is there a reason the amp the won’t stream to a stereo pair of speakers? This would be disappointing as I would want to keep the SLs as a stereo pair for the surround sound, but also want to listen to vinyl. Don’t want to have to unpair every time!
I see this was asked a year ago and closed. Re-asking, because indeed the Sony KDL-46V2500 will not connect to beam via hdmi/optical adapter. Any workarounds?
