Connection lost after device not used

Our Sonos SL keeps loosing the internet connection after not used a couple of hours. Works again after unplugging and plugging in again, but it is kind of uncomfortable. Tried using the connect button, but it seems it doesn’t restore the connection. If it’s the problem solver, how long should it be pressed in order to work?

Try this: unplug the speaker (or all if you have more). Then restart your router. Wait until router is fully restarted and wifi is established. Then restart your speaker. If more than one, wait until each id fully restarted before starting the next.
This will force a fresh IP address to be issued. If it fixes it (it may only be for a few days) you’ll need to do it again and then set reserved ip addresses for the speakers.
Let us know how it goes, and if you need help with IP address reservations we can try to help you with that.

Takes only a few minutes and has solved a lot of folks Sonos problems.

Try it.
