Amazon Alexa and Sonos

I like using Pandora in Shuffle Mode to play selections from all my Pandora stations. I am unable to get Alexa to select Shuffle Mode. I have to instead use the Sonos App. Is this a possible enhancement?

Do the Echo Buttons and related games work on Sonos One?

Anyone having problems with Alexa responding? I say Alexa and nothing ?

I have a Sonos One with Alexa working well in the dinning area and a Sonos One In the hall all good but was wondering if I put Sonos 5 2nd gen in the dinning area with the sonos one will Alexa still hear my voice over the amount off sound in that particular room . I do sometimes struggle with Alexa when music is at level 9 on the Sonos One and have to manually reduce volume first before Alexa can duck the volume to hear commands I am thinking if sonos 5 will be to much then get another Sonos One and Stelio par them in the dining area thank s

I have Sonos One working well in primary house. I just purchased echo dot for Play 1 in my secondary home. The houses are in 2 different zip codes and use 2 different wifi networks. I cannot get my echo dot to connect to sonos system in secondary home. Can someone help?

Cant complete setup because the App crashes

So i have 3 sonos ones in different rooms of my house, and a playbar with play:1s as surround in another, in that room I have an echo dot. When i say "alexa, play whatever,in a room that has a sonos one, it plays the music not through the sonos one that i was talking to, but the echo dot! Is there any type of setting that i have to adjust, or something that i can do?

Have a Sonos One and want to buy Echo Spot,Both should integrate right?

I live in Sweden though, so if I buy a Sonos One today I can only use it as a Play:1. Whats the best way to get notified when other countries (such as Sweden) will get a working Alexa on a Sonos One?

Can anyone help me connect my Sonos to Amazon Alexa

I have two Sonos Connect units. One is working dine with my Alexa echo dots. The other one Alexa always says is offline. I've tried restarting it and selecting discover devices in Alexa but no change. I know the Sonos Connect has to be online because I can control it with the iPhone app and it works fine. What else can I do?

i have 6 play ones and a playbar in the house and my amazon echo (first gen). when i tell alexa to do anything, like lower lights, all the speakers currently playing any music will dim sound until my command is done. I have 2 speakers that are usually on all night playing white noise in my kids room. (different floor than my echo). is there anyway to not have those speakers as part of the alexa integration and prevent them from dimming during alexa commands?

Hello there Android community who wants to know how to set up an amazon alexa to your device. First what you need to do is either get an Ipad or an Iphone. Then you need the sonos applications next. On top of having the sonos app you will also need the amazon alexa app as well. Once you get your Ipad or Iphone connect it to your network. Make sure your discovery is on. Once it connects to the device you will be able to use the voice commands to alexa. On your Ipad or iphone you also have to make sure you got your music stations listed as well before you can use your android device on your ipad or iphone. Once you have it fully set up on an ipad or iphone then you can go back to your android phone and then open up the amazon alexa app and then go through the process of finding your device. Once it has been found then you can move on to saying alexa please tell me the time. Once it responds back then you are set up and ready to go. One thing you all need to know is once you get a sonos o

After connecting Sonos One to smartphone and downloading Alexa app (with Sonos Skill), the Alexa app dosen't recognize my device and sends an error saying "Detection ERROR". I retried to do the configuration from the beginning (I did a factory-reboot on the Sonos) but nothing change. I'm in Argentina, could it be that Alexa dosen't work here?

Alexa does not respond to 'stop' when using Spotify. Anybody any idea why?

During the week, I automatically received the new BBC skill, for playing BBC radio and podcasts. It works fine on my Echo & Dot - 'Ask BBC to play (station name) works as expected. Not so on my Sonos One - I get the announcement 'Here's (station name), followed by a chime, then nothing. I'd particularly like this skill to work as it's definitely higher quality than TuneIn on my other Alexa devices, and gives easy access to BBC podcasts. Any idea why it doesn't work please? Could it be related to the reason why the Sleep Sounds skill fails to play any sound? I've performed all the usual steps, disabling / re-enabling skills etc to no avail.

Got Sonos One and play 1, with Amazon music. Keep having to ask Alexa to discover devices to ask her to play music/playlists (otherwise she just says sorry I can’t do that or whatever it is. Then when it does after we ask her to discover devices, she adhocally ignores stop or next song, or just plays one song in a playlist. Also Every time we ask her to discover devices the app duplicates all our home (Phillips hue) as well so haveto delete them. Wondering if anyone has any ideas? Thank you 🙂

Is anyone experiencing their Sonos being unable to skip songs by voice request when Spotify is playing?

At present I say, "Alexa play x on lounge" which works well. Is it possible to default all music output to 'lounge' without having to say it, example, "Alexa play x" and it plays on my Sonos 'lounge' speaker?

Anyone else think this should be a no brainer?
