I am trying to buy a product from the Sonos website, and the pricing changes from the Shop price to the Cart price. WTF, Sonos? You can’t even make customer purchasing work smoothly? You guys seriously suck.
Hello, I have been a Sonos customer for years, I have several speakers (3 Play:1, 1 One, 1 Amp, 1 Beam, 1 Move, 1 Roam). In my room, I usually listen to music to fall asleep (at very low volume) and to wake up (at higher volume). To do this, I created two playlists: "Bedtime" (3 Mike Oldfield albums, in the original order), and "Wake up" (Genesis albums in random mode). To automate all this, I have an alarm at 7:20 am ("Wake up" playlist for 15 min) and then, 20 min later, an alarm with the "Sleep" playlist at the lowest possible volume, for 1 minute. This way, at night, I only have to press the speaker to start the music (or start an Alexa routine, which will turn off the lights, tell me my appointments for the next day and then start the playlist again on the Sonos in the room)But there’s one thing that complicate my life, though:- For alarm playlists, you can shuffle them or not, but for loop playback, you have no choice: it's on by default. This means that every morning, after one minut
Hi, due to some stalker issues, I’ve had to locate and disable all the microphones lurking in my home. A recent sweep of the whole house lit up my old-fashioned Sonos Playbar as having a hidden microphone in the front right area. The technician was adamant that his microphone-hunting device was keying on a mic hidden behind the fabric of the Playbar. I did’t feel like destroying the front of the Playbar to uncover the mic, so we just unplugged it until I could get some feedback on this. Any ideas?
What trackers does Sonos authorise in their apps?
With the introduction of sub mini how many people would love to see Sonos update the system to allow for dual sub mini’s to be added to a room setup rather then using its bigger brother?
SONOS 😋
Hello, just bought the Sonos Arc, Sub, one one SL to go along with new Samsung tv. Alot to learn. Where is the best place to learn everything I need to know? On sonos.com, the “learn” tab doesn’t have much. The sparse documentation I got doesn’t tell me alot. I’ve got the system working, but I want to learn the app, how to set up voice commands, etc. Is there a youtube channel? Some documentation somewhere? I really want to learn this, but not finding anything out there. Thank you from a Sonos newbie.
I tried to use the SONOSLIVE discount code, valid today only i believe, but it doesnt work when ordering 2 x Sonos One - Gen 2 ...
I received an email inviting me to participate in a new “Sonos Beta Rewards Program” which comes from sonosbetarewards@impactgroup.us. Is this legit?
My products are registered but I cannot determine where I look them up? I’ve signed in, but no tab saying My Registered Products
I’ll be retiring in 1-1.5 years and the wife & I are planning to move to South Korea to live for 2 years before returning back to the US. I have several Sonos products and soon planning to upgrade from Sonos One to Fives to complete my system. I would like to take the Ones, Fives & Move with us to Korea. Will the Sonos work in Korea? Will the Sonos app and Spotify work?
See this thread JUnable to play BBC Stations though Google Assistant defaults to Tunein-bbc-stations-though-google-assistant-defaults-to-tunein-6868629 I have no idea how you justify closing it with no fix. I am forced to use alexa but it is very definitely not a fix for me.Just to ge clear, my issue is inability to select bbc stations with Google assistant (nor with sonos) I can only do this with the alexa assistant and thats not how I wishbto use my sonos roam. I would appreciate it if this thread is only closed if a solution has been made (and for me using alexa is not a solution)
After the 1 month free trial of Sonos Radio is complete do I get notified and asked if I want to be a paid user or am I automatically billed? Thanks
After spending 90 minutes on the call with your customer service (Dante), and going through various and unnecessary steps, I was told that the product is not working and after 12 months 4 days, you would not replace my Sonos Move. Just unacceptable. I have purchased several products and was about to buy the new subwoofer, and will be auctining off my entire sonos system after the worst customer service ever!!!!
14.18 a master piece...WAO...Really what they did on 14.18 to listen to music is phenomenal! My sonos One SL pair stereo are sounding like never before. In this firmware I performed trueplay (iPhone 8 plus) and I have it on all the time with an excellent response in all frequency ranges and I have the loudnes turned off which improves clarity.Bass at +2 is more than enough and the highs at +8.My living room has 4.6 meters X 6 meters and sloping ceiling ranging from 3.5 m to 5.Tell us about your experiences with this new firmware.WAORealmente lo que realizaron en la 14.18 para escuchar musica es fenomenal!
A few hours ago I updated to Version 14.18 via my iPhone XR; it took 2 tries. My system is a Boost, Office (2 Ones gen2), Move and TV (Beam gen 2 & 2 Ones gen 1 as surrounds). Everything showed as updated and seemed to work well. A few hours later I wanted to use my wife’s iPhone 13 to control the TV and was prompted to update on her device. That took 4 tries, but everything finally showed as 14.18. An hour after that, opened my MacBook Air to check a photo album while watching TV (using the Beam and surrounds) and was prompted to update to 14.18 on my Mac. So, my question is - does every device used to access the Sonos App ( 2 iPhones, a Mac and an iPad) need to be individually updated? I do not recollect going thru all these device by device updates previously. Thx
I have the iPad Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max…does it really make a difference when doing trueplay? I’ve read a couple of comments that the iPad is a better choice but I don’t know how one would really know if it wasn’t measured in some way to compare.
Hey Team. I’ve had sonos products for 10 years, and they’ve never worked for longer than 2 hours. I’ve tried hard wiring my entire system, I’ve done wifi…. Literally everything. It’s hard to imagine that nothing works, I can’t listen to my music, and these products are still sold. I’ve spoken to sonos support hundreds of times, I reboot my wifi, unplug all of my units daily, yet nothing works. There couldn’t be a more frustrating music platform.
They lost my product and then proceeded to block me on Instagram when I kept asking for an update.Spend thousands of dollars on their products. Never again. Can’t wait to bring this up in other blogs
Wondering if anyone else gets the feeling that Sonos's "Customer Support" team has their heads up their a**es lately. Been working on a product return / replacement for weeks now. One hand of Sonos doesn't know what the other hand is doing. Customer Support can't say when anything will happen. They keep blaming delays on some recent "maintenance" on their system (like that's MY PROBLEM). They can't directly contact people in the group that actually handles returns & replacements. They can just "message them". They can't / won't provide customers with a way to interface directly with the people who really handle all this stuff. And they seem to be unfamiliar with their own process. I get different answers every time I call. It's a giant cluster f*ck. I haven't needed support very often. Is this something new? Or has it always been this bad?
We have Sonos throughout our home and the Sonos app along with our Alexa powered devices is a family-friendly solution for all things audio in our household. I also have a dedicated 2 channel hifi setup and a Sonos Port connected to that system. The problem is that I have to set it to variable volume which does weird things with the digital output and I have to switch to the right input when playing from the Sonos. The good news is you’ve solved this problem with “Works with Sonos” by enabling auto power on, source selection, and app-controlled volume so that there is full digital output into the player. The bad news is this seems to be limited to several mid-range home theater receivers. If I were head of partner programs at Sonos, I would be going around trying to build as many partnerships with all the amazing new DAC/Streamer hardware manufacturers out there who are building awesome DAC/Amps but who don’t have the advanced multi-room capability or software design and development c
This update has ruined the sound of my sonos Arc and Sub. I have an Arc, Sub gen 2 and surrounds SL ones. My system has lost volume, the sound used to be clear and the bass strong. Now it sounds muddy and the bass i loved has disappeared. Ive re calibrated trueplay and with it active the sound is even worse. The sound on the previous firmware was fine and didn’t need any adjustment. Perhaps if you (sonos) gave us a chance to roll back or even chose if we want to update it would be ok. You have left me with a system that now sounds terrible. Sonos, return to the previous sound profile. You are going to loose business and support. I’m thinking strongly to changing brand. This is shocking from a company to just change someones sound without giving them the choice. Absolutely gutted.
Add lyrics.
Hi,I have quite a few MP3 files (audio books) on my own device, which I’d like to listen to through Sonos. I can easily find the right audio book by selecting the ‘Author’. But then there are 30 chapters, and the files presented are randomly prsented, i.e. not sorted. I would like them to be sorted on filename, or alternatively(/optionally?) on ID3 tag ‘title’ and subsequently ‘track number’. I wonder how feasible such feature is.Kinds, Bosenator
