Everytime a guest comes over and tries to search for a song using my android devices they fail.
Without exception. I can see the frustration with the search user interface. I have to step in every time and explain the tabs on the top and the bucketing of results by service and how to drill down.
Everyone trips up on the search UI. This is the most important feature. It also poorly represents the product for potentially new users. There has to be a better way
I rarely use the search feature anymore. Voice control is my first choice. I don’t find the search feature all that difficult though. What would be a better way to do the search?
I am complaining without offering a solution. Let me write up potential design options.
It starts with default Artist filter. Usually when a friend wants to play something, they search for a specific song. Get nothing, and then I have to educate on how the category filters work. Ill write all this down and come hp with ideas
