Feature request:Bring back ability to control volume with iOS (iPhone, iPad) physical volume buttons.The removal of it is exceedingly aggravating.  The work around sucks. I will own 11 Sonos devices.  But I will buy no more as long as it works this way.  This situation is so poorly communicated and badly implemented that I am gone as a customer until you resolve this.

I’m so lost  I’m looking to fill a 700ish sf studio with music as well as wireless mic connection, could I buy a Sonos Connect and run 2 play 1s off of it, would it play both the mic and the music? Is there any other option? 

I have a Sonos Amp and beam in my living room and would like to add a speaker in my bedroom so music streams there is I move rooms. What wireless speaker do you recommend I add?

I know there are longer threads about the new app, but as this is a specific issue relating to Mixcloud I thought I would create a new topicSince the update the only feature that works in the Mixcloud service is ‘favourites’. None of the ‘following’, ‘followers’, ‘uploads’, ‘stream’ etc have any content (despite all of them being populated in my separate Mixcloud app) . These are critical parts of the service, which allows me to search for music and which were present in the previous version. I have tried removing the service, then re-adding it, but to no avail. Is anyone else having any issues?

On the new app, if you try to disable wifi on a wired device, such as an Arc or Sub, it will hang, crash, and then it may even say it's disabled. But then the device reboots and its back to enabled. When you do it from the old app, it properly disables the wifi. This is easily reproduced 100% of the time. Please do not respond with why you think wifi should be on - my entire system is wired and works perfectly wired. Anytime I add a new device, I have to dig up an old iPad with the old app on it to disable the wifi because the new app does not work.  Also, why doesn’t the Mac app or website have the features to disable wifi or add components? 

Hello, I have a sonos arc and I was thinking to buy another sonos equipment. What would you guys recommend 2 Sonos era 100 or Subwofer 3? Thanks!

I changed my router so I had to setup my speakers again.You force me to download your mobile app.You force me to update my speakers (Play1) for some reason (why do wireless speakers NEED updates to work?)Your force me to download you “Controller S2” app on my PC, because for some reason, the Controller S1 is no longer compatible WITH THE SAME SYSTEM I HAD FOR YEARS?!You say it will “update” my controller and transfer my previous settings. It did not update, I had to manually install your new S2 Controller.It did not transfer anything - all my playlists are GONE.I spent 20 minutes to setup the system I already had, you forced me to download a bunch of bullcrap I did not ask for and did not need claiming it was necessary AND you did not even transfer my playlists? Everything is just gone?And no doubt you guys will keep churning out new updates that I am FORCED to download because the speakers will just stop working altogether for some reason, even though the updates change absolutely not

Hi Everyone. Just wondering in surround mix set up:Bean Gen 2, Sub gen 3 as front and One Sl plus One gen2 as back speakers. Does back speakers will work same as there were either both SL or both One’s gen 2?One Sl with One gen2 in surround will have same performance?Thanks in advance

Is it better to buy one Move 2 speaker or 2 Sonos Era 100 speakers. I use my Sonos’s at my home for indoor and outdoor use at the same time, and sometimes only inside or out.  

Hi, I have my Sonos set to stream music from my NAS drive. I created a playlist with over 5000 songs and had the ability to add, delete, edit and move music from streaming apps and my local drives. The following features I had are still missing from this latest update. Can someone from Sonos please provide a timeline as when these features will return? Album Artwork is not displayed for Android. It is for IOS.Only the Song & Artist is displayed, missing AlbumSwitching to queue goes to top of list, it needs to go to the song playingAbility to add, delete, edit, move songs in queue 

I am trying to setup entertainment for my kids in my newly built four season room.When I hook up my Blue-Ray player there is video but no audio.But when I connect with my Roku Fire Stick I get audio and video perfectly working.Here are my components: Epson 5050UB projector HD Fury Aracana Roku Fire Stick Sony Blue Ray Player (BDP-S6700 and BDP-S185) - tried with both Sonos Beam with two Era 100 connected via wifi with Beam I also tried this with HDMI Switch before I ordered Aracana - 4K@120Hz HDMI 2.1 Switch 2 in 1 Out with Audio Extractor (Brand - Rofavezco, Model - EZ-SW21H21A-EO) and it still does not work.I have display+eARC enabled in the Aracana. Prior to connecting my Sonos Beam I enabled on CEC by connecting to a TV.

It’s so annoying that they have removed Apple Music from the web app. Any reason? Licensing costs?

Hello,I have had pairs of Sony and Bose and AirPods Max. The Sonys and Bose give off this really annoying popping sound when going over bumps in the car. I know this is unfortunately common in some ANC headphones, but I am in the car a ton and the noise bothers my ears. Does the Sonos Ace do this?? if not I will return my Bose and get them. The AirPods Max do NOT do this and I’ve had them for 3 years. Thank you!

Hi everyone having a problem with beam and fives as surrounds today when listening to music using Sonos app playing Apple Music when I select sound to full mode for music it won’t change keeps playing in ambient mode I’ve tried everything is any one else having this issue 

I have a Sub that - from the beginning of the serial number - was manufactured in February 2014. The packaging and cosmetics of the Sub match those of a Gen 1, but when I check my system details online, it says it’s Gen 2.I double checked with an online Sonos rep and they confirmed the same thing. Even though the product image on my ‘System” page doesn’t match the actual Sub I have.Did Sonos release the Gen 2 in the beginning of 2014 WITHOUT changing the cosmetic design?My Sub with the packagingMod Edit: Removed serial number

I can no longer control the music selection or volume on my Sonos equipment. Due to the new app it is dysfunctional. If you will not roll back to the old app then we will collectively need to seek a refund on your equipment as it has been mis-sold.

I have just install a Beam Gen 2 with two Play:1 surround speakers & Hisense TV and I’m going through a bit of a learning curve and have a few questions.I initially connected the Beam to the HDMI port2 which is ARC compatible and the Sonos app recognised this which I thought was good. My difficulty is that when connected to the HDMI port there’s no way to control the TV volume seperate to the Sonos volume. What I was hoping and assuming is a better setup is to have no audio from the TV when using the Sonos Surround setup, the TV remote control controls both TV & Sonos and there’s no way to reduce just the TV, if I use mute option audio is muted on all devices and the TV displays a annoying mute icon. Is my assumption to not to have audio from the TV whilst using the Sonos correct and is it achievable using the HDMI Arc? I got a pretty good deal on some play 1’s. I am wondering if anyone has used these in a covered lanai.  It is a permanent roof built as part of the house. There’s no chance of getting wet. However the humidity in south Florida is fairly high. I currently use a connect amp and outdoor speakers. But I think the play 1’s have better sound.  I’m looking for anyone that has done that in this humidity and the success of it.  

Hi I have came up with a workaround  for the issue with international radio station streams not playing in the UK. Here is the solution not ideal but it works. If you have a ROAM or ERA 300 speaker connected to your system you can use your phone to open up the Web app for my tuner radio find the station you want then connect your phone via Bluetooth to one of the above speakers and group with any other sonos speaker in your system. As I said not great but I have my radio stations  back on sonos. 

I’ve had my LG OLED 65” TV and playbar for a few years.   Our dog ate the Magic LG remote.  Ordered a new one and can’t get the Playbar to control the TV volume.   Sat on the phone over an hr with Sonos technical support and they can’t figure it out.   We changed manufactures to Sonos, Bose, Phillips, Samsung  and none of them will control the volume while watching TV….   If I turn the TV off and open the Sonos app to listen to music, I can control the playbar with the Magic remote.   This makes no sense to me!!  I spent a few hrs messing with this, watching Youtube and reading forums and can’t figure it out.   Reset the playbar to factory setting and still nothing.  You would think in 2024 electronics would sync better!!

I was waiting for the Ace launch to buy my new headphones, but because of the App fiasco + the fact the Ace are not integrated with my Sonos system I decided to buy a new pair of Beats Solo 4. I’m totally happy with my purchase, I always loved Beats and I prefer their design. If I wanted noise cancellation I would have gotten the AirPods Max, and I already have AirPods Pros. I am not sure why I would have got the Ace as they don’t integrate with my Sonos system which is probably the only reason I was waiting for the Sonos headphones. I’m also starting to develop a habit of going to Spotify to play my music instead of the Sonos App and sending it to my Sonos speakers. It just works (Spotify App) while the Sonos App makes me want to throw my phone on the wall just to select the zone I want to play in. I think you got it right if you wanted to start over from 0 and kill your loyal user base. I have more than 20 Sonos speakers in my 3 homes, I have Move, Roam, Arc and every single Sonos pr

What's the hold up? Supposed to be updating the Ace headphones by the end of July? I'm guessing this just isn't important enough to break the app any further...
