Talk Sonos Products

We are older and have trouble hearing when individuals are speaking.  What could I do to correct this?Would adding surround speakers help this?   Thanks.

Beam Gen 1 arrive DOA, has anyone else received product DOA for Certified Refurbished Products

Play 5 speaker became incompatible with sonos 1 app so updated to sonos 2 app but cant add play 5 speaker to it but it plays play 3 ?

How can I get all of my products running on one app? This is so frustrating? My gen 1 Sonos 5’s are on the sonos1 app and the rest of my products are on the newer app

I would like to connect my SONOS ARC ultra to a Samsung QH75C professional display. The HDMI Input 3 on the display is marked with ARC but the connection to the ARC Ultra (with original cable) failed. The option in the sound settings to pass-through the HDMI-Input to an external device with ARC is not possible. All systems are uptaded. What is the problem ?

It’s been months and I still don’t see where I can create a playlist or add to one that I had made with the old app. Am I missing it - because it used to be very easy to create a playlist from the music library for party’s? 

So I bought 2 sub minis and I just read that you can’t connect 2 sub minis is that true and is there any way I can ?

Anyone from Sonos or in Japan that has heard about availability of Arc Ultra/Sub 4 here.  It was written end of November, but I haven’t been able to find anything in the usual retailers showing a pre-order or stock.  

I have our built in Sonos speakers and Sonos arc as a pair on our LG tv and paired in the Sonos app. However, when I adjust the volume with the remote, it only adjusts one of the components (not only one or the other, it fluctuates which one it controls based on which one I maybe last touched in the pair). Mind you they are paired together. How can I fix this?

Is it possible to stream music videos through the Port when using Airplay.Currently using iTunes to through my phone  to a Port and playing music through my hifii. I also have a Samsung frame TV and wondered on how I could stream the music videos to that whilst still playing through the hifi. I’m guessing it isn’t possible using the Port? 

Is it still not available for iPad Air m2 to use Trueplay? Seems it’s been a long time already. Or do I miss something?

Ive just bought a new LG c4 tv and connected my sonos beam.  what is the best cable to use, optical or HDMI?  Im currently using optical, but the LG controller wont adjustbthe volume and i feel like the sound quality should be better.

So I'm using my Beam as my primary front channel. I'm wondering if I'm able to use two One speakers along with my Beam for a front setup? Just have the Beam for voices, while the two One's for all other sounds? I'm also using a Sonos subwoofer.  Thank you in advance!

I have a simple system with my music on an external drive, S1 on my PC, Sonos Bridge 100, and Sonos Player connected to my integrated amp. If I were starting out right now with the same external drive, PC, and integrated amp,  but without the Bridge and without the Player, what current Sonos products would I need?

I moved a couple of months ago. I haven’t been able to setup my Sonos speakers after the move. I reset all Sonos One and Sonos SL speakers to factory settings to start with a clean slate as just plugging them in didn’t work. Problem I get now, is that I can’t connect them to my Wifi to complete the setup. One time I got the “error 1,000” error. One time a speaker connected, indicated that it first needed to update it’s software (firmware/?) in order to work → but updating that software couldn’t be completed. I tried connecting them with an ethernet cableI reset the routerI removed and downloaded the sonos app on my iphoneNothing seems to work. Any tips?

I’m trying to update my SONOS 1 with a new wifi, but both the ‘check for updates’ and ‘preferences’ settings are grayed out, so how do I redirect the app to the new wifi settings?I’ve also hard wired it with an Ethernet cable, but I’m still getting the error message that it can’t find the server  - when it doesn’t require a server as it isn’t using wifi.. smh** RESOLVED (iPhone update glitch) Thanks

I am having continued problems with my Sonos system. I cannot select or play any of my speakers using the app despite having reset the entire system and started again. I have also updated the network on each product.  in the system screen the products shown have no volume slider and don’t display the last thing played. I used to be able to use Alexa to play my speakers instead of the app, but now Alexa repeats my request and says the content is playing but the speaker remains silent. also a NEW issue today is that the Roam I have in the kitchen is not showing. I have done a factory reset and gone through and completed the whole process is adding it as a new speaker which the app said was successfully completed, but amazingly it still does not show as part of my system. what is going on !!! It is shocking that supposedly premium plug and play consumer products can be so buggy they are unusable. I am using the IOS version of the app (fully updated) and my system includes: One, Beam Gen2,

Sonos Bean connected LG tv through hdmi arc and I connected surround composed by Sonos one Sonos one SL but both column stay with stable green led and have no sound. Also can’t do truepay. 

Hello.I have Sonos Beam (Gen 1) and Gigabyte M28U monitor.I havePC connected through Display Port Macbook Pro M2 connected through USB-C port.Monitor has KVM switch built-in, no ARC/eARC HDMI ports.How can I connect this soundbar to the monitor so it will switch between these devices? What I should buy and how to wire it?Unfortunately, using AirPlay is not an option as I cannot have this big latency.

I have a Sonos Playbar and a pair of Era 100’s.  I want the Era’s to play the same audio that the Playbar is playing and I don’t want to set them up as surrounds.  This is so I don’t have to have the Playbar as loud due to audio traveling in my house.Is there a way to group those three speakers together such that I don’t have to go into the app each time I want to watch TV or listen to music and pair them together?  Also, my TV remote will only change the volume of the Playbar and not the Era speakers.I just want to be able to use the one remote and control all three speakers without having to touch the app. Thank you, in advance, for all of the help! -eric

I installed a system in an airport hangar with 2 sonos ports. I have had 2 power losses and after the ports boot back up anyone without a sonos account has not been able to access the system via wifi until someone with an account connects to it. Is this standard? 

Hi! I was wondering if anyone can help out build the best setup for the space as atacched, it is cca. 50m2 in total… TV is hidden in the movable cabinet near the fireplace. It is a newbuild so we can play with best positions etc.I was thinking 1 sonos Five near dining table, 1 woofer next to sofa and probably 1 more Five or two times sonos One in respective corners… 90% use scenario is background music, 10% TV watchingOh and the ceiling is suspended so there is potentially an option of adding speakers in the ceiling as well, but dunno how much more complicated that is ...Any help much appreciated.
