I have headphones for my existing TV that come t via a standard red/white audio cables how do I connect it to the Sonos Arc SL while watching TV

+18You don’t. The Arc has no connection for it. Best would be to buy a Sonos Ace that would pair with the Arc and not the TV (which can be troublesome because Sonos “steals” the connection from other connected devices).
+24You can connect them directly to your TV, assuming your TV has a suitable audio output.
