I can’t believe Sonos Have suckered me again.

From all the descriptions on the shop website I believed Ace headphones would connect to my Sonos network. I have now discovered that they are no more than Bluetooth headphones. I cannot access my music library which was the whole reason I bought them for. I have spent three hours this afternoon speaking to support Only to find the advisor, knew virtually nothing about the headphones and had to be told by a colleague eventually that it was impossible to connect. Do not buy this product if you think it has anything to do with the Sonos home system.

Hi @Fraud victim

I’m sorry to hear that the Sonos Ace weren’t what you expected. The Ace not using Wi-Fi is explained on their Sonos.com page, however as this is at the bottom of the page in the FAQ section, I understand this may be easily missed.

This has been requested before as a feature request, and I can forward your thread to the relevant teams as one, however there’s no ETA when or if this will come to the Sonos Ace.

If you’re unhappy with the Ace as Bluetooth headphones, and you have purchased from Sonos.com, you can always return them under our 30 day return policy. If you purchased from a retailer then you’ll need to contact them regarding a return.
