Hi,I am using an Arc with two rear Symfonisks. I was trying to play music through the arc when it disappeared from the app. I rebooted it and it came back but lost the trueplay tuning and I havent got an iOS device. Any chance the tuning is saved somewhere and I can get it back or do I need to tune it again?BW Joel

I have a Sonos Amp and a Pro-Ject CD Box connected to line in. Is it possible to pair the Pro-Ject remote control (pictured below) with the Sonos Amp to control volume? If yes, how?I also have a TV connected via HDMI ARC, and the only thing I manage to do is to pair the TV remote (Samsung) to control the Sonos Amp via IR, in addition to ARC, which is an almost decent workaround to control volume when listening to line in, without having to turn the TV on, but it would be really smooth to be able to do that with the Pro-Ject remote instead.When I try to pair it now, the Sonos app just says it does not detect any IR signal. (And yes, the battery is OK, and the remote is fully functional). 

Ok I have been browsing NAS-related discussions here and have a couple questions/confirmations as I am hoping to get all of my CDs onto a library. It looks like something as simple as this WD My Cloud Home 4TB drive - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-my-cloud-home-4tb-personal-cloud-white/5990204.p?skuId=5990204 might do the trick. Agree? Pros/cons? Better alternatives (even if more expensive)? Could this be set up to run independent of my Mac? Or would the Mac need to be powered on to do so? I mean I know I need to the Mac to get it all set up, but once set up would this operate whether the Mac was powered on or no? Best software for ripping CDs on the Mac? I want to be able to rip full-resolution audio even if playback on Sonos is lower-res and I don’t want to use iTunes. Thanks in advance!

Hi,I am using a Sonos Connect with my studio monitors.I would like to buy a Neumann KH750 subwoofer and connect directly the digital output of the Connect to the KH750 digital input.I read that :“The KH 750 DSP subwoofer only supports non-encoded AES3 and S/P-DIF signals. Encoded signals such as MP3, DTS or Dolby Digital are not supported.”I would like to know if Spotify + Connect will work ?Thanks for your help ! 

Hi, my before now, perfectly working Sonos sound bar has started emitting a horrible high pitched whine all the time. I contacted support who asked me to try a few things, then send a recording of the sound, which I did, but have now heard nothing back. any ideas how I can resolve?  

Hi,Firstly, I'd like to say I love my sonos system. I consider my self a sonos super user, I funnel thousands of tracks through the app on my phone. I have soundcloud, bandcamp, Spotify, mixcloud, multiple computers running as servers, I even have access to a few of my mates soundcloud and bandcamp accounts aswell.The app is great but there are improvements that need to be made/fixed. I searched on other threads but couldn't find the same issues that I'm having. My issues are more to do with the layout and ease of playing music and nothing to do with system connectivity.  Miss hitting buttons, slides, volumes etc. First - On the music playing screen :1 - the slider for skipping through the track is to small, countless times I've gone to slide forward through a track and accidentally hit the title of the track bringing up the menu for that particular track (ie like, dislike, playlist selection). There's a lot of real estate on the screen maybe make cover pic smaller or move slider. 2 -

Hi, I looked this up and the last post regarding this was 5 years ago. I was wondering if Sonos updated the app for the possibility of using one Sub with two different sound bars. I am buying an Arc (Covid back order) and will eventually get a Beam for my bedroom which is very close to the Arc. It would be nice to change the Sub pairingdepending on sound bar. Is it possible?

HiI have mobile wifi, a beam and 2 x S1 for internal sound - the boat also has several built in ceiling / wall speakers throughout - maybe 12 speakers all connected to various Fusion head units - am i right in believing that i can connect these speakers / head units to the same sonos set up as the 3 stand alone speakers either using a ‘Sonos Port’ or ‘Sonos Amp’?Would I need both, one or not possible?TIA

Has Sonos STILL not permitted Harmony Hub or other third party controllers to select Line-In as source on Connect or other Sonos devices with a line-in? This would make a world of difference in making my Connect, Play:5 and Amp useful! Please make this happen soon Sonos

Hi,I have a playbar attached to my TV (it’s actually a plasma monitor). Playbar is about 4 years old. This is not our primary viewing room (though it does get a lot of use) as I have a separate room for that.I’d like a little better audio than just the playbar. My question is which surround speakers would be preferable in this room which is approx 16’ x 16’.?Would it be a pair of the new Fives or is that overkill? What about a pair of the Play speakers?thanks in advance.

Hi all - I got a pair of One SL speakers and a sub. They sound great paired as a stereo setup, and I love how well it fills my room with sound. I only use the system in my office and I love the wireless setup.My problem is that I can’t figure out how to use this thing properly.  I use Spotify a lot, I do a lot of YouTube, watch videos on Facebook from time to time, and listen to podcasts/audio right from a browser. With my old bluetooth speakers, i just set the bt speaker as the audio out for my laptop and everything is perfect.With Sonos, every time I change to a new audio source (i.e. from Spotify to browser) I wind up having to figure out how to re-adjust the volume and make sure it’s coming from the Sonos speakers.  I thought I could set my computer to use the Airplay/Sonos as it’s audio output .but it keeps disconnecting.For example, say I am listing to a youtube video and my OSX is using Airplay to play on Sonos. Now i move to another tab and play a video on Facebook (or anywhere

I’m thinking of buying a used Sonos Connect to hook up to my existing Yamaha receiver.I want to be able to “see” the Sonos Connect from my Sonos app on my iPhone / iPad.I’m reading some stuff online that would see to say the app does not work with the Sonos Connect.Surely that can’t be right.

 This has probably been asked many times before but I'm struggling to find an answer to my specific question. I currently own 2 x Play2 speakers using S2 software (I assume this means I have Gen 2 speakers. I was intending on purchasing a Sonos Connect so that I can connect my turntable to my speakers. If I purchase a used Connect Gen 1 will it work on my Gen 2 speakers? Thanks

Hello,Before anything else I want to let you know that I am aware that the sonos products work through the sonos app and the best way to connect the Symfonisk lamps are through a beam or an arc and set them as surround.Getting that of our way, I trying to figure out a cheaper way of doing this. Does anyone on this forum own an apple 4k tv (5th gen) and 2 Ikea Symfonisk lamps? I am curious of 2 essential aspects:Can the apple 4k tv be connected to the TV and simply act as an audio out device to the Ikea Symfonisk lamps (in stereo)? (I am not interested in using the apple 4k tv to its intended purpose and to use its apps, but only act as the audio out to those speakers via airplay 2) If the answer is yes to number 1, is there any audio delay, de-sync with the image from the TV?A bit of an example for a more accurate visual representation: let’s say one owns an LG CX Oled display TV, an apple 4k tv and 2 Ikea Symfonisk lamps. I am wondering if I could watch TV and send the audio via hdmi

I currently have an arc and sub in my living room and recently added an amp to be independent and control my outdoor Klipsh speakers. I am wanting to be able to watch tv and have that audio on the arc and then stream music outside on the amp however when I stream music it kills the audio on the TV. Is this possible? I figured since the amp was separate It should be easy and not really be a second zone. The amp would be its own zone and the arc it’s on zone. I am wondering if it’s the way I set it up on the app. Any suggestions?

Hey there! I’ve been loving my Sonos speakers, but sometimes I just want a single speaker playing music quietly. For example, as I sit on my couch writing this post, the left rear speaker in my 5.0 setup is closest to my head. I would like to be able to temporarily play music from only that speaker rather than fill the room. Thanks for your consideration! Cheers.

Why must Sonos HD radio have to interrupt (at very high volume) your HD Radio Stream and obnoxiously tell you what station you were listening to? This is the MAIN reason I cancelled the service.

In a car stereo, you have the ability to place the sound front to back with a simple slider for where you want the sound centered.  I’ve always hated FRONT/CENTER as the only vocal channel available. It’s not immersive. My car is set to deliver sound at the driver’s head as the balance front to back. On my Onkyo system, I’ve hooked up a shared channel for the center speaker, so a front center speaker, and a rear center speaker, and I can place the vocal channel front to back at any point in the room just by adjusting the ratio of volume delivered to each center speaker. Usually it’s 20-30% at the back, and 70-80% from the front. It creates an immersive surround sound just on the vocal channel, and it’s far better to listen to then front only vocals. It also means  that the entire volume of a system doesnt need to be played loud, since the goal is clarity, not volume.I’m using the Arc, SL+, and Sub, and I think this would be a very simple modification that could be implemented to delive

Hi all, i have a small room with a projector and a sonos amp up from driving two b&w cwm650’si also have a b&w 610 sub attached. I then have a sonos connect amp g2 with 2x cwm650s as reads. it sounds pretty good if I’m honest but would it sound much better if I ditched the front cwm650s in exchange for some sonos architectural in walls and the trueplayed it? would it be a massive change? Would be interested to hear.

Hi, I’m trying to run the trueplay optimisation but when the noise test starts at the very beginning it seems it never ends. Attached the screenshot. Any advice on how to proceed?I already followed the basic instructions: no noise in he room, no other open apps, no Bluetooth devices connected…thanksN
