I can’t figure out how to specify the path to my network drive. I connect to it on my Mac via:smb://mycloudex2ultraFrom there, the path is Public/SharedMusic/iTunesMusicI have tried this in the Sonos setup window:\\mycloudex2ultra\Public\SharedMusic\iTunesMusicBut after clicking Next and providing my Username and Password I get an “unable to add the music folder” error. Can anyone help?
Dear all, I bought Sonos arc and 2 sl one speakers. I am not sure that I’m getting Dolby atmos, which is the main reason I wanted the system. I was reading all those reviews describing how planes are flying on top of your head and that you can hear sound in the air in the middle of living room. I have nothing of that. I have a few drops of rain and other occasional sounds coming from my rear speakers but apart from that I wouldn’t tell the difference between my TV speaker and Sonos system. I have Netflix Ultra HD and LG webOS TV UH603VI think the reason is TV is not supporting Dolby Atmos. Please find att photo where it shows the TV output where Sonos Arc is connected. It says Optical Digital Audio OUT. Is it Dolby atmos output or not? Also on other photo in Sonos System Info AUDIO IN is Dolby digital 5.0 is it Dolby atmos?I would appreciate any help, advise and suggestions 🙏🙏🙏
Do I need any special hdmi lead to use atmos ?
have a Samsung UE65RU7025 TV.I have Movistar TV cable service in Spain.Everything worked perfectly with the Samsung One remote.A single remote control for everything.I have purchased the Sonos Arc + Subwoffer. The remote control for Movistar has stopped working.Any solution? Thanks.
I use my Sonos system (a bunch of Ones, Beam, Sub) throughout my apartment for both TV and Music. I always have to make volume and EQ adjustments when I switch between the two. Is there a way to create different default settings for TV vs music? If not, I guess this is a feature request 🙂
I’ve seen this problem in the community a few times. I have a completely S1 set of hardware working fine with Android and MacOS controllers. The Windows 10 controller on a laptop stopped working (see two screenshots - the installation suggests that the existing system has been found, and then “Sorry, we can’t connect” back in the app). Has anyone got a routine way of addressing this? I’ve uninstalled the S1 controller, downloaded from Sonos.com and installed again - same issue. It used to work fine on Windows 10, but sometime last year it stopped working.
Hello - I’ve got Sonos gear set up in two houses. How would the Roam handle that? Can I seamlessly connect the Roam to my Sonos networks in both houses as I travel between them? Thanks
https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/sanus-tv-mount-beam.html. Will this mount work with an 85 inch Sony TV? I am concerned that because of the size of the TV, it will not extend down low enough so that the speaker will clear the bottom of the TV. Thanks in advance.
Problem as per title - the new S2 app no longer persistently shows the elapsed and remaining times for the track being played. It does show the progress bar - but not the times as numbers. The times appear when the track starts but then disappear after a couple of seconds. Same thing if you touch the progress bar while a track is playing - the times re-appear, then fade. There is no setting to control this. I really dislike this - I like to be be able to see the times without having to continuously be tapping the screen. Why on earth would Sonos think it’s a good idea to make this change? Very annoying. Anyone else feel like this?
Hi! Does the TVs eARC port must also be HDMI 2.1 so that it's possible to have Atmos via TrueHD on Sonos Arc? What is the minimal HDMI version on eARC port to ensure Atmos via TrueHD from TV (assuming that TV sends/passes through Atmos via TrueHD)? Thanks!
Hello, i have 2 pairs of Play 1 + 1 sub (+ 1 connect for turntable)I want to create a 4.1 home cinema set, using 1 pair of Play1 as front speakers + 1 pair of Play1 as surround speakers + 1 subI paired each pair of play 1 together + grouped sub with the front speakers pair.my problem now is that system doesn t allow me to add surrounds speakers to the 2xPlay1+Sub group … anyone knows how I could have a turnaround here ?thanks in advance.
Hello,I’m new here but I use sonos product since many years.I currently use :few Play : 1 2 Play : 3 1 Play : 5 (Gen2) 1 Play one SLWhen I saw the roam annoncement, I decided to write this topic to share with you. I’m realy interested in this new product. The format is nice, the ability to use bluetooth are realy attracting. But, I have the same fealing as when you created the Play One to replace the Play : 1 :Oh my god! If I want to move to it, I will have no choice… The voice control service is imposed… I don’t want to have any of those system in my flat.None!I want a system to ear music with home/room intégration and as much as possible good sound. I don’t want anything listening to me in my private life! That’s my choice and I don’t think to be the only one thinking like this…. I’m sure this functionality is apreciate by many of your customers, but not by some others (I am one of them)... So when the Play One SL arrived, I was reassured. Will you do the same with the Roam : will there
SO many posts for SO long. I and SO many others are absolutely FED UP with how buggy and unsupported this “premium” product is. It pains me every time I watch that I have to power cycle the Arc in hopes it will have continuous sound. And with having to keep eArc off, a premium feature I paid for, for some hope of stability on power cycling just to get through a movie is inexcusable. When is the fix coming?? I am concerned it is hardware at this point, given how long it has been widely known. If that ends up being the case, I expect full refund. I have Sonos everywhere in my home, inside and out. At this point I want to put it all in one giant box and send it back. I am THAT fed up with the ecosystem I used to love.

As per title. On my laptop I can delete the queue but only able to when I click top right of a song. But same happen with next choice?
I just put in a note order for the new roamed speaker. got absolutely no verification or order number yet bank was asked to verify to Sonia. many odyssey else having this problem?
I have two Beam units connected to Two LG OS TVs they have worked faultlessly for two years connected to the HDMI(ARC) inputs alongside the HDMI input from a SKY+ box then along came Sonos 2. I have spent the last 3 weeks using every combination of set up routine reading all the forums and some common sense and have ended up using the Optical adapter which is acceptable up to a point and that point is... why should I have too ?,What have the Sonos engineers changed that has caused this? The System will work with the Beam in the ARC socket completely without fault with the TV recieving terrestial TV signals from the antenna socket and no other HDMI connection used.Next stage ..as soon as you switch to HDMI 1 the sound either mutes or defaults to internal speakersEmtering the TV setup and selecting HDMI(ARC) out has no effect as the beam looses the conection, open the APP and try to re connect the unit has no effect as it contunually reports no connection or another HDMI signal is
I must say, the smallest of changes make all the difference! For me, using an older iPad for Trueplay, pointing the mic towards the arc when tuning for 2nd part and then following Peter Pees advice on angling the arc (to achieve better atmos) made huge differences in the sound, night and day really. Highly recommend Peter pee videos if you’re not getting the right sound!
Hi. I have just moved house and seriously thinking of extending my current two play3s into a house wide setup with two 5s in the lounge, the 3s in the dining room and 1s in the kitchen and bedroom. Trying to ascertain if I could gain improvement to music quality by using a dedicated streamer/amp/DAC of some description rather than using my pc?If you could offer advice that would be appreciated. Cheers.
Could anyone help me please. In December I placed an order for a set of Sonos Five, 1 beam, 1 boost, and 6 Sonos Move. They sent me everything but the six Sonos Move, saying there were credit card problems and they couldn't process my payment and that my order had been canceled. They asked me to please place a new order. On January 21 I placed a new order for 6 Sonos Move and they said would be deliver it by the end of February. Now I see that both orders are "processing" meaning they did not cancel the first purchase. I only need six and not 12 Sonos Move and I have no idea when they will ship the six I need. can someone help me to see what i have to do?
I’ve recently ordered a new Sonos setup (ARC + Sub + Amp (to drive existing Sonance in ceilings). I’m deciding between the LG CX and Sony A8H for my new display. I’m interested in hearing about any experience with these 2 sets and the Arc for home theater, good, bad or otherwise. I will be using my display to switch everything to the Arc and Sonos setup via eArc. The primary inputs will be from the native apps on the TV, AppleTV 4K and Xfinity 4K box. Any known issues passing Atmos and sound in general via eArc? I have read some about lip sync issues and drop outs with the CX. I’m not sure if these are isolated issues. I’ve read very little about A8H experiences with the ARC. TIA!
My copy of the iOS iPad app no longer has a “Playlists” category on the My Sonos screen. Is anybody else having that issue? I can’t figure out how to fix it. My playlists are still showing up in the iPhone app, and on iPad I can still add songs to my playlists. I just can’t access them.Note that these are not imported playlists. There were created via the Sonos iPad app.
Hi, I am interested in purchasing a Sonos Move to have as a second Bluetooth speaker in my home. I already own an Anker Soundcore 2. What I am wondering is, will I be able to play an audiobook for my son (from my phone) on the Anker bluetooth speaker while simultaneously playing music for myself in the next room on the Sonos Move (also from my phone)? Thanks!
Hello, I have a Samsung Q90T television and a Sonos Arc soundbar. I can use Dolby Atmos with Netflix and Vudu, but only 5.1 Audio with Disney+, Apple or Amazon Prime. Are those apps (Disney+, Apple or Amazon Prime) not compatible with one of or both of my tv/soundbar? Does Samsung not support Atmos through them? Thanks in advance.
I’ve been scratching my head for some time now. Let me explain.I got my Arc and Sub g3 earlier this week, paired them with my two One SL’s. No issues at all. Everything smooth and it sounds really great. The arc is connected to my Sony XH95 with the Hdmi cable that came with the arc. And, this is the interesting thing, both Amazon Prime and Apple TV+ is working perfect and i get amazing Dolby Atmos sound with the built in apps in my Sony tv.But the built in Disney+ app is only showing Dolby digital 5.1. I have checked that everything is up and running with the latest downloads/firmware and whatnot, i have searched the worlds widest web for answers and tried some different things like resetting the tv, uninstalled Disney+, pulled all the cables out and put them back in again.Amazon Prime and Appletv+ is still giving me Dolby Atmos. But Disney+ is not.I am sort out of ideas here. Anyone else here with the same issue that have any tips or tricks down their sleeve? Any help would be much ap
