Hi have a roam speaker thinking of getting 2.  I understand 2 x roam can be used in Stereo under wifi, and does not work in stereo in bluetooth.Can 2 sonos roams be connected to a single bluetooth streaming?Is it possible to play 2 x sonos roam not in stereo from either a samsung galaxy s7 or iphone 12.  Thanks

Hi - just want to check in so I can be absolutely certain before purchasing.  Can a Sub be bonded to a single Play Five or does it have to bond to a stereo pair only?  Thanks!

I am traveling the United States. I bought 2 Roam speakers for bluetooth playing. I have no wifi network here. AND I CAN NOT SET UP MY SPEAKERS. There is no support. Boot on chat, phone is offline, no mail answer. Now I have 2 plastic usless boxes for the next 2 month/  I wish this company go straight to hell. No. Really.

Hi guys,This is my first post using this platform and I’m still getting familiar with how everything works. I’ve owned my Sonos products for about a year now, which consists of the following items;Arc2x Fives1 x Sub Gen 3Those are in my living room as I frequently use them for music, PS4 gaming and 4K/Dolby Amos enabled movie streaming (Netflix). I have no complaints about the performance and listening experience however I’ve become aware that I can add a second Sub Gen 3 and wished to know if anyone has first hand experience and if there’s proper improvement.

I am shocked at how long my return is taking to process.  Is this common?  Sonos received the item on 5/21 and I have heard nothing.  The only reason I know they received it is I kept the tracking number.  This seems like a long time to wait.  Can anyone shed any light on this?

Hello Everyone I am Planing to install Surround Setup (Home theatre)  Front Speaker - One SL - 1 Pair Right and Left Rear Speaker - One SL - 1 Pair Right and Left Center Speaker  - Arc Sound BarFrontSub - Sub In Celling - Sonance 1 Pair with Amp  Is this the correct surround Sound Setup or do I need to add or change anything in this setup please advice or suggest.

Sorry to bring up what appears to be a routine question, but I cannot find an answer that applies to my situation.I got a new router (Orange Livebox4) a few months ago and since then have failed to get my Sonos 3 and 5 speakers to work (using controller 1). I eventually got them working by moving the Sonos 3 from my study to the passage cupboard containing the Livebox and connecting with ethernet.  I now want my speaker back in the study.I went to Sonos>Settings>System>System settings.First I selected Wireless setup and came to a halt because I was told my router password was incorrect (I double checked it by disconnecting and reconnecting other devices to my router).Then I selected Networks, chose my router network (the only one available) and was told “In Use”.I really don’t want to understand much more about networks.  I simply want to get back to listening to my music! 

​I’m having problems right now with the S2 Android and PC apps telling me that something on my system is incompatible. I have three Play:1s, none of which are reported on the System page in my account as incompatible.Solutions for fixing this incompatibility message such ashaven’t helped. When I follow the steps from that, I get to the point of checking for updates, where I get an error 1101: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/4908From that page, when I restart the S2 PC app, it says it’s found Sonos on the network (without noting any incompatibility) but tells me there’s an update, which just goes back around to that same error code.All the troubleshooting points past that are not relevant (not using Android app, no device on Ethernet, no settings on router changed and devices are working properly).I’ve had the same message about incompatible devices when installing the S2 app on my Android phone. I am therefore still using S1 on it.

 First, let me say this soundbar sounds good when it works. However it is the most buggy soundbar I have ever owned and I’m not alone. Do a simple search on any issue I’m having and their is MULTIPLE post about it with ZERO resolutions. Sonos suggestions are to spend money on cables, etc and to blame every other piece of hardware but their own.  “Send us a diagnostic report” and every time “Looks fine from the report” yet the issue is still there. My soundbar does two things all the time. The audio gets distorted when playing Atmos audio. Only work around (not a fix) is to shut every thing down over and over until you hit the lotto and it works. No it’s not my internet connect as it’s hardwired, my phone that uses the app gets 800 Mbps over Wi-Fi at location.  My whole network is a very well done Ubiquiti setup in which every hardwired or wireless device works flawless on besides, you guessed it, the Arc! Second issue which is a daily issue. I have a basic 5.1 home theater set up now (Yamaha receiver and basic speakers). I’m looking at 5.1 home theater set up from Sonos as my wife does not like wires running around much. What does it in Sonos which made you buy their 5.1 set up from the regular home theater ones. What will i gain and what will i lose. I like having discernible audio but no way close to a audiophile. Looking to know what made people move to sonos 5.1 set up from regular home theater.

If I have two passive speakers with the sonos AMP (connected with HDMI ARC) on either side of my TV and a pair of Play 3’s in the back for surround. Is there anyway to mute the Play 3’s in the back when listening to music so I get a more regular stereo setup? I really want to have two passive speakers for stereo music listening and then use the same speakers as a part of a 4.0 surround system when watching TV/movies.Is this possible?

Hello Everyone, First time commenting on the board. Wanted to share what I’ve experienced with my Sonos Arc connected via ARC to a late 2018 Samsung QLED tv. All Dolby Atmos sound was via ARC/Dolby Digital Plus. I tested the following devices to see which had the best Dolby Atmos experience the past month.  Roku Ultra and Roku 4K+ were the best for my set up because it worked with the most streaming services. Received atmos sound on Roku Ultra and Roku 4K+ stick. Note, the Roku 4K+ stick marketing language isn’t clear about it receiving atmos but both devices do based on my experience with Netflix, Apple TV+, HBO Max, Hulu, Disney Plus and Amazon Prime. Oddly, it appears that Roku’s overall marketing says Ultra is the only one that gets Atmos, but that’s not my experience.  Received atmos sound on Amazon Firestick 4k on less streaming apps/services than the Roku. I don’t remember exactly which - but I believe it didn’t work on Netflix.  No Dolby Atmos on Apple TV 4K (2021). The Apple w

I have a hub-based Harmony.  I want to be able to use my Harmony to control the volume on my ARC when listening to music from the Sonos App, ie, I want to start the music and if I’m cooking in the kitchen just bring my Harmony companion, instead of my tablet, to control the volume.Doing a device scan, the Harmony PC app finds the ARC, but only offers me two Panasonic and a Sokol model numbers.  I choose the first one (Sokol) and it added, then I configured the Play Music Activity to only use the ARC, but the Harmony does not control the volume. I cannot add the ARC manually.This seems very strange given that 1) it seems like the problem has existed ever since the ARC came out and 2) Harmony and Sonos say they play nice together.Any suggestions?

I'm considering buying a dirt cheap iphone if I can get it to work with Trueplay.  I'm considering it, not completely sold on the idea.  My Sonos Roam and Move can provide Trueplay without the need of a phone... Weird that speakers such as the Arc cannot.Anyway, does anyone know what is the oldest version iPhone I can use?  Thanks in advance.

I use the latest Sonos S2 controller on a Macbook Pro (Intel 13”, 2020) the latest version of OS X (11.4), and recently noticed that the controller becomes unresponsive when I connect my computer to an external monitor (or disconnect from one). I can then force quit to exit the app, and everything works when I open it again, but another display switch and it often happens again. Anyone else seeing this? Steps:Open Sonos S2 controller, everything works Connect to an external monitor Sonos app may now be in the “Application is not responding” state (but not 100% of the time) Right click on the dock icon to Force Quit App flashes quickly (looks like it becomes responsive for a moment) and exits Open Sonos S2, everything works

I am using a Sonos Connect Amp to power a pair of outdoor speakers.  I added a second pair and it seemed to me there wasn’t enough power to drive al 4 without distortion.  So I purchased a small digital amp to power the other two without first thinking...can I do that?  I use external amps with the Sonos Connect to power several speakers, but haven’t tried it with the Sonos Connect Amp. I assume it’s fine...but thought I’d ask! Thx!

Dear all I am looking for a Sonos alexia someone knows where l can get one cheep if possible

I have an Apple TV 4K, and I currently have a Sonos Beam. my LG TV supports eArc, but the TV does not support Dolby Atmos. If I get the Sonos Arc, will the Dolby Atmos sound from the Apple TV pass through the TV, or does the TV need to support Atmos for that to work? I only play video content from the Apple TV, so I’m not going to upgrade the TV.

I have a room that has a lot of background noise from a fan that kicks on and off (that cannot be eliminated). My TV is in the front of the room and I current have a Sonos Beam connected to the TV. The problem is you cannot hear the TV voices in the back of the room without turning the volume way up. The voices get drowned out by the fan. I’m trying to get a setup where I have a soundbar in the front of the room and another speaker in the back of the room both playing the same TV sound.My TV installers, BestBuy, and Walmart all indicated that I could do this by adding a Sonos One and setting it up as stereo. I have tried that and I cannot seem to get the Sonos One to play any of the TV sounds.Has anyone else figured out a solution to this? Is it possible to the bean and one to be in stereo (not surround)? Any recommendations?

Hello!I am trying to figure out how to run the ARC Sound bar and home theater set up completely wirelessly without losing the dolby atmos feature. The current situation is as followsWe just moved and brought our previous home theater components with us. The system consists of a sony vw 285ES projector.. marantz sr7008 av receiver... 110'' screen... KEF Q series 7.1 speakers/subwoofer... blurry player/ xbox/ apple tv... logitech universal remote.The new house has a smaller sheetrock wall/ceiling finished room in its basement with difficult access to run wires in the walls. So I am considering replacing the speakers in this set up with the ARC Sound bar and wireless home theater set up so that I dont have to run the speaker/ HDMI wires (other than one to the projector for video) but can still switch between the different components easily and can place my receiver towards the back of the room near the projector (shorter HDMI and can be hidden much better) but dont want to lose the atmos

The LG OLED65G19LA does support Dolby Atmos and has HDMI eARC and I’ve got the HDMI 2.1 cables but will it passtrough the Dolby Atmos from another HDMI input like a PS5? Or would only support the integratet Apps on the LG TV (webOS 6.0) like Netflix/Disney+ the Dolby Atmos?thx for your help
