So just set up new Beam Gen 2. Connected to Panasonic TV via ARC HDMI. Please tell me there's a way to switch back to TV speakers ! I don't need to use the Beam all the time as the TV speakers are very good. Can't find a way on the app, or with the hardware. Super frustrating. Am hoping I'm just being an idiot.

How do I play other apps on my iPhone through my Sonos sound bar?

Hello I have a sonos bar which has worked fine until optical sound broker. I have purchased a analogue to digital converter plugged it into my jack output on my tv bust sound does not workis there a better option or will this just not work

I have a question about the sons arc in combination with the five I miss a stereo feeling with the arc is it possible to use the sonos five as a stereo in combination with the arc.

I have an older Samsung TV 55” that has an HDMI-ARC port, no eARC.  I plug the Sonos-Arc into this port and when I go to the app and use set-up it’s telling me that there is an error.  Currently have the speaker set up with the Digital Audio Adapter into the TV and it is working fine.  I really wanted to use the HDMI-ARC port of the TV though.  

Hi I wish to purchase two surround One speakers. However one will be in advance of the other.  I intend to buy a One and a One SL.  Can I mix then with the Arc & can I use one to any effect with the Arc before I get the second one? Thanks in advance - Mike

For our basement TV room, which is quite long but narrow (see pictures), I intend to use a Beam 2 sound bar resting in front of the TV.  The smain viewing sofa is against the wall facing the TV, about 10 feet away.I am considering whether to supplement the bar with a pair of One SL speakers, which would rest on either side of the television.  But there wouldn’t be much separation between the Beam and the SL’s -- would that be a waste of time, or would the SL’s meaningfully enhance the stereo and overall quality of sound?  One option is to bore some holes in the dividers and place the speakers on the adjacent sections of the bookcase, providing more spatial separation for the three components.  Would this make a meaningful improvement?I don’t want to place the speakers back against the wall with the sofa -- no outlets there and too much clutter. Thanks for any guidance!Albert

Hi, I'm wondering does anyone have a sonos five s24 they could possibly take a voltage reading for me? or even circuit info which I have found to be a closely guarded secret!I need to know the voltage across the 3x 35v caps in the secondary, that's it.Thanks in advance!

Our main viewing space has an Arc sound bar, Sonos Sub, and two One SLs as rear channels.I also have an extra pair of Sony SS-F6000 floorstanding 4-way speakers, and a SVS SB-2000 Pro 550 Watt subwoofer.Will a Sonos Amp allow me to sensibly integrate those items into the existing setup?Thanks for any advice! I have my Beam Gen 2 connected via ARC HDMI.  The TV remote is set up and controls the Beam but it does not control the other 3 speakers that are in the group. Is there a fix for this? 

Planning an Arc and a Sub for a living room. It’s new construction, so I have the option to run Cat 6 lines for each of them, going through my home LAN’s switch. Alternatively, I could have just the Arc wired, and leave the Sub to communicate over a dedicated Sonos wireless network.This document doesn’t even mention the wired LAN option, so hard to find good information about it:https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3235?language=en_US(What it calls “wired” is actually having a single Sonos device act as a wireless router.)My questions:Which approach would you prefer, if both are possible? Just got the roam after a while trying to switch the thing on (not realising it needs to be set up in WiFi first . anyway all done it’s there in my app I can play Bluetooth now on the go . But how do I connect it tomy 2 play 5’s ? While the 5’s are playing i press play on the roam and it just plays what I was listening to previously on Bluetooth just need to know how to get all 3 speakers play the same thing  thanks 

Hello!  I’m looking to upgrade my Sonos-setup in my living room. My use: I mainly use my Apple TV to play music from Apple Music - I do not use Sonos built in feature for this. Other then that I look at series from Apple TV+, Netflix etc.  My setup in the living room today: Playbar + 2 Play:3 as surround speakers. This is connected to a Samsung Q70A-tv (2021) with an optical cable. The best solution: This would be just to get the Arc. Sadly, it seems to be pretty wide and I'm slightly worried that it wouldn't fit very good in my home. Alternative 1: Change my Playbar to Beam gen 2. How would the new Beam compare with my Playbar? Would I experience a huge improvement in sound quality and immersiveness with the Beam gen 2? Would

I’m looking at expanding my Sonos system, with either a Roam or a Move speaker.I don’t want to hook up to Google or Apple, and want something that either doesn’t have a microphone or has the ability to disconnect or turn it off if it has one. Will either of these 2 speakers fit the bill?Also, it seem from the responses to my previous question, that I should be able to set this up independently from my other speakers. I’d like to be able to use this in the garage without inadvertently blasting the other speakers in the family room, so I’d prefer to set this up on its own system. 

 Hi.  I’ve just had an LG C1 series OLED TV wall-mounted on a full-motion bracket in my living room (see pictures below), and I have ordered a Sonos ARC to mounts below it — but I’m having second thoughts about my decisions.1) The TV is a little bigger than I’d like for the space (though we’re going to try watching a movie on it tonight for the first time so the jury will be out). I subscribed Amazon music, and evaluating Apple Music at the moment.In my living room I have 2 play:1 + Sub (gen 1) . I read a lot about streaming quality , and I wonder if to better use the improved quality of Amazon Hd or Apple lossless and Airplay 2 , the One will work better than the play :1 , or if both will be capped at the same level of bits/hzThanks !!Giovanni 

Hello , possible silly question , I'm thinking of getting a Panasonic ub820 player which has separate audio and video hdmi outs , would connecting audio out directly to beam and video out to tv work or would I still have to do a combined audio /video feed to beam via e/arc , also I'm aware that the first option would mean no TV audio through beam only blu ray , sorry a bit long winded , thanks

Hi,I've recently switched over to Sonos and purchased a Beam (Gen2) and two One SL's (for surround). Everything sounds good except in one scenario.When playing music through Spotify or any music/radio app through my NVIDIA Shield, the audio quality from the rear speakers is very inconsistent. It sounds as if the volume of the rear speakers is constantly adjusting based on what's currently playing. To me it sounds as if when there are vocals in a song, the rear speakers are trying to suppress the sound but it's failing to do so, resulting in a very muddy sound quality and also heavily fluctuates in volume while doing so. This is very noticeable and a bit annoying.When playing music through the Sonos app this doesn't happen.So it appears this issue only occurs when playing music in "tv mode”, i.e. through an external device which is my NVIDIA Shield in this case. Looking at putting together a Sonos system for my loft area TV. Thinking of gen 2 sound bar, with sub woofer, 2 in wall speakers for surround and 2 ceiling speakers for rear surround. Does this make sense, if yes, what is needed to set up (obviously speakers, how many amps, other?), if not, what would best set up be?

Hi guys looking for a little help here. I have an old ZP 90 that has stopped working, I tried to do the upgrade and purchase a new port. I was halfway through the upgrade and had to leave the page before completing sale. When I logged back in to complete the purchase it showed that unit was already upgraded but I hadn’t completed order. I’m now trying to reorder and arrange delivery but can’t cancel previous upgrade and restart. I talked to someone in support who helped with another issue but couldn’t help with this order. I’ve called sales and also emailed them a week ago but still no luck. Today on trying to contact sales again Message says unavailable try support online! Cheers Shane 

Hi all,I quickly want to share my experience I have made over the weekend regarding my Sonos system playing songs from my NAS (Synology). I have setup the connection between the NAS and the Sonos system quite a while ago and have just used it seldomly. Now I wanted to play some songs again over last weekend and realized that the connection / integration did not work anymore. No clue since when it failed.I tried different options including deleting / recreating the connection, creation of new users on the NAS, changing the password of the users and so on. I found articles in the net giving me the hint to check that the NAS is set to support SMBv1; but this one was enabled.FINALLY I found one article that helped me to solve the issue: two main conditions are necessary to make it work again: SMBv1 must be supported / enabled and NTLMv1 (as authentication layer) needs to be enabled / supported as well. Why does Sonos not support the controller for Mac (or Windows for that matter).  All online help tells you how to do things on iOS or Android.  I use Controller on my Mac, and I find it very irritating that Sonos won’t provide any online support for computer users.
