I'll contact after-sales in the evening to check, but I'd like to consult the community if you're having this problem.my product is era 100, android sonos app volume control still has a 5 second delay, is it fixed? my app/system has updated. help!!!there is a sonos reply: https://shorturl.at/fI6KCbut it's 4 month ago, i don't know if you fixed it. Note that I don't think it's a wifi network issue, as my streaming music playback, pause, and resume functions are instantaneous. It's just volume control delay
Hello! i have two the sonos era 100 and i can succesfully connect to one on the app and my phone but for what is the second era 100 i can connect to my phone but not the app.. also when it is connected to my phone no sound from the phone is coming out but you can hear the original noises from the speaker does anyone have any ideas?
I have many speakers through the house, about 7. I really enjoy the sound and have for years and i tell others to get the system. But Why do speakers drop out of wifi and become hard to load back un. Can you make auto reconnect easier? Using fios mesh, setup a specific guest wifi for sonos, yet most speakers drop off, and others continue to work. I reboot when I can.
I have read so many complaints on the😑ir sw. Hopefully they addressed the iPhone won’t connect easy to WiFi , if you system is growing becomes. Almost impossible to install at all. Really whaling to see this one and purchase a system where engineers can solve their Sonos Issues which plague the valulue of money is lessened Sonos is destined to go the way of the cassette player
I keep my iPhone, Spotify app and Sonos apps and devices updated. But my Sonos system has, time and again, shown itself to simply be not up to the job of streaming Spotify or podcasts reliably from my iPhone. I constantly move between Bluetooth and AirPlay, but a single move between them usually confuses the system and produces a glitch which takes time to resolve. Glitches include: * losing connection if a song is paused for more than 10 seconds * delay between speakers * if I send to too many speakers at once, it fails, need to do it slowly one speaker at a timeMost often of all… * looks like it’s playing on my phone, at volume, through any of my speakers, but can’t hear anything Very often I have to switch my phone off and on again and completely start again. Most days. It takes at least 90 seconds to do this. And once every two weeks *even that isn’t enough* and I need to reset the speakers manually!!!It’s been like this for two years.I have bought a standalone non-Sonos spea
Hi there,I am currently struggling with one Sonos speaker that keeps “disappearing” from my system due to, I think, weak WiFi connection where it is. I am considering upgrading to Sky Max WiFi for their WiFi guarantee of at least 25mbps in each room. The small print says if the WiFi doesn’t reach a room I will be sent a Sky Max Pod. I can’t work out if this is a mesh or an extender. If it’s an extender, won’t this make my problem worse? Has anyone experience of Sonos and Sky Max Pods?many thanks,
I have a Sonos One SL, it worked until the last week or so when it completely stopped responding.I’ve done a factory reset, removed and reinstalled apps, reset everything I can reset and it’s stuck in the Error Code 1000 loop. The support documentation says it’s a timeout error but the error occurs instantly when requesting a check for updates.I’ve seen plenty of posts about but the only solution I’ve found that comes close to resolving it is to throw it in the bin and get something other than a Sonos.
Hi, I’ve been using Sonos for over 10 years with no problem, over the past 6 months I’ve been experiencing drop off from a pair of Sonos 1. In the room affected I have 3 Sonos 1 and a hard wired Sonos boost, to try and resolve issues ive reset both speakers back to factory, added a boost, upgraded my internet package to 500 meg had Sonos support dial in multiple times and checked all I.p addresses, no conflicts. Weirdly the other speaker in the room isn’t affected, does anyone have a clue? This is literally last chance before I remove the system all together.
Posso aggiungere 2 spider Sonos one al ad un impianto con arc se soowofer
I have two sonos play 5 and three sonos play 1. None of these connect anymore, not to WiFi, not with ethernet cable. Have reset all speakers, routers, deleted system, different devices, reinstall app... The app finds the devices, but if i try to add them it eventually says to ensure that the power is on, and aborts the process. What to do? Connecting these "easy install" devices has stolen hours of my life also before, but now i hit a wall.
I am installing my Sonos Era 300 stand. At step 3, I can’t seem to figure out how to install the washer far enough into the base so that the stand pole isn’t rather loose and unstable. Does anyone who has successfully installed the stand have any tips to make it stable?
Hi Everyone I have a mix of Sonos and traditional wired speakers. Has anyone integrated both types into one audio system? If so, how did you manage the setup and what challenges did you face? Thanks!
Hey, I have a video (with Audio) of my Wonderboom 4 $119 AUD performing better than my 2x Sonos Play 5 and Sub. This has only occured in the last year recently and is the subject of hundreds of posts. Can Sonos advise if they are looking into it and the progress. Anybody with any info would be appreciated….
BonjourJ'ai changé de live box et mon système sonos ne fonctionne plus...
My Sonos Play 1 has done the same as many others before and blown part of it’s 240V step-down circuitry so when powered via the mains the unit no longer worksThe parts blown are the two 1 Ohm 1206 SMD resistors just up from the big brown capacitor on the power step-down part of the board as also happened to @Lazarov and @Helix66 in this threadBlown resistors R522, R523, R524 MosFet next to itSo I decided to go the route of @huntajon and wire in a 24V DC laptop power supply across one of the two tall capacitors, however when testing these for continuity, I am getting a short which then manifests itself in a buzzing unhappy power 24V laptop supply when I connect itI’ve checked the polarity of the wires vs. the - stripe on the capacitor and this is all correct, so I wondered (a) whether something blown would be shorting the circuit and (b) what is the quickest and easiest way to disconnect all of that circuitry from where I am soldering, and just have the 24V circuit and low voltage parts
Please can anyone advise me :- Is it at all possible to add a Sonos One SL ( gen 1 ) to my existing system of 2 Sonos SL gen 2 in another room ? Many Thanks Guys Moderator edit: removed the word “Play” from model name
I have a pair of Play:1 speakers linked as a stereo pair. I generally use an Amazon echo dot in the same room to ask for music etc. In the last few months the previous behaviour where the volume of the sonos speakers would automatically reduce when communicating with alexa no longer happens. If I have the music on loud then I either have to reduce the volume or shout very loudly!Have tried all the usual uninstall/reinstall, repair, unlink/link the sonos skill in alexa etc but with no success. I should say that other speakers in my system DO reduce volume when communicating with alexa (including an aging connect!) but not the Play:1s. Since I still use the old connect I am still on an S1 system. Any suggestions?
I have 3 Sonos Ones installed upside down. They are slightly above eye level and that orientation allows me to access the volume controls. I’m old and my memory sucks, but I seem to remember there was a setting that allowed you to reverse the direction of the volume buttons for this installation. I can’t find it anymore and the volume direction is backwards now. Am I imagining things, or they have always been that way?
I e got a playbar and two s1 speakers about 10 years old. They work ok. I recently added an era 100 that drops out intermittently. When it is working, The status on the app shows its wifi is not connected though. How can it be made to work full time? Nits on channel 44 the others are on channel 1.v annoying
When setting up Five and Move, the setup processes always stalled. I did everything- a couple of hours with Sonos Customer Support, restarting router, factory resets, etc.I stumbled onto the fact that my McAfee Protect app (on Samsung S10 phone) has several functions; I use anti-virus, but something called Secure VPN (which I don't use) was also turned on, apparently by accident. As soon as I turned off McAfee Secure VPN, all my problems with Sonos setups and operations (the Move's microphone appeared to be broken, for example) went away! Both Sonos speakers installed smoothly and work perfectly. Apparently McAfee Secure VPN interferes with Sonos WiFi communications.
I have 6 play 1’s in the house. All were working fine. However one of the Play 1 is appearing in the app but does not produce any sound. Tried Tuning too but no success cause there is just no sound.
Hello, I have the Arc Ultra, sub 4 and 2 ERA 300 set up in surround mode. if I set the 300s to full mode, TV off, playing Apple Music through Sonos app, my understanding is the speakers will be louder (equal volume to arc) and full frequency range vs ambient where it would be lower volume and reduced frequency range. When I turn the TV on they will switch back to surround mode controlled by the movie/Arc (no longer in full mode).Assuming the above is correct, is the only item I lose in this config for playing music is that the 300s won’t have stereo right and left channels playing? I assume the ultra will play music in right and left stereo channel mode? So With full frequency range and the ultra playing right and left channels I would think the quality of audio would be pretty darn close to having the 300s in stereo mode grouped with the ultra? any experience with this and opinions on sound quality? thank you

I have 2 people on the network with their respective Android phones and 2 different sonos accounts logged in on each phone. Both phones are able to add the spotify service in the sonos app and play music from within the sonos app successfully to the speakers. However, only on one phone I'm able to play music from the Spotify app directly, meaning I can select to connect to the speakers in the “Select another device” menu and then it connects successfully. On the second phone I can see the speakers in the Spotify app menu and when selecting it will attempt to connect for 10 seconds but then fail. Both phones are pixel 8. I have tried:Reinstalling Sonos and Spotify appLogging into the same sonos account on the phone that doesn't work Rebooting the router
Pleas can someone advise - tell me :-will a Sonos 5 gen 1 speaker work in another room along my existing 2 Sonos One gen 2 speakers on this newer Sonos app that I’m using ? many thanksCliff
