So I just switched to an ASUS Mesh Network.   The ASUS app shows which mesh node the Sonos devices are connected to, but for whatever reason a bulk on my Sonos Devices show offline (even though they aren’t).  The odd thing is some items are listed twice (offline and online)

Some by the IP address and some by the MAC address and some are only listed by the IP address for instance my Sonos Arc Ultra,  my Beam Gen 2, the Move 2.

From what I can sort of tell the main speaker show up correctly, but if I have it set to a surround (2 rears and a sub) those devices show up offline by their IP address and online by their mac address.

Any idea what is going on here?

During setup the surrounds and their SUB(s) will request an IP address from the router, but eventually the soundbar may establish a direct 5GHz wireless connection with the surrounds and SUB(s). At this point they are ‘offline’ as far as the router is concerned because they rarely use the router’s services. This seems to fluster some routers. I have no proof, but I worry that the router might reassign those ‘offline’ IP addresses.

I recommend that you “reserve” all IP addresses for SONOS and regular network clients.
