Sonos mini update issues

error :30 and error 1000

Hi @Dr KJC

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues updating your Sonos Sub Mini. Error 30 and Error 1000 are both related to updates failing, so I’d recommend checking out our support article for common solutions to update issues. From that article, the following is suggested:

  • Retry the update.
  • Restart your Sub Mini.
  • Restart your Router.
  • Move the Sub Mini closer to your router.
  • Wire the Sub Mini to your router.
  • Try the update with a different controller.

If you’re still getting the same update errors after trying the above, then please contact our support team for further troubleshooting assistance. If you’re receiving a different error instead, then check the article I linked above as it has links to other error code support articles.

I hope this helps!

Thank you

I tried above still no use

In that case, contacting support would be the best solution for you. They have the necessary tools available to remote into your system to see why the update is failing and how to resolve it with you.

I tried setting up Sonos without support, but the customer service experience in India was disappointing. In contrast, the global support team was excellent—they responded promptly and followed up diligently. Despite India’️s large customer base, the service and support leave much to be desired. Purchasing Sonos in India comes with its own risks due to the lack of reliable customer support.
