Since updating I've noticed a sudden drop in volume.First noticed it while listing to Apple music. a short way into a song the volume dropped, I turned it up and it happend again. Didn't think too much of it.But then it happened while watching TV, so I turned the volume up, then a few seconds later the volume shot back up.Anyone else noticed this?Any thoughts?Hope it's just the update.Jon Izzard

I am absolutly fed up of having to reboot my router to access Sonos from my phone. I have a VPN, but not only do I tunnel it, I turn it off, I restart my phone, but no, if I want to run Sonos from my phone I nearly always have to reboot my router. Honestly, I love the sound but the application and connectivity, I can never recommend this product or even contemplate any upgrades.
I have 2 speakers which stubbornly refuse to allow the full 45 second Truplay sequence to complete due to back ground noise. Is this a thing? can you counter the background noise message? I have done the tune thing in a row which is totally silent of background noise and its driving me nuts
I am facing an issue where I cannot add a factory reset play:1 & play:3 to my existing system. When I go to add the play:3 I get this message:We couldn’t find any Sonos products on {WI-FI Name} so we can’t set up your Play:3. Try again later This is very weird because There is a Ray, Sonos Roam and 2x One’s and an existing Play:3 already registered on the WiFi network. What might cause this? I’ve tried multiple resets, power cycles, wifi & direct ethernet connection. Another post suggested that it would be best to forget the wifi network and update it. So powered off all registered products and wired the existing Play:3 to my router. I powered on all the speakers and updated the network first through the Roam then the Ray (the ones are grouped to the Ray for surrounds). The app shows the “Add your Play:3” banner, but when I try to set it up the error in quotes happens. I’ve tried multiple android devices (Pixel 6, My old P20 pro and a Lenovo Tablet) - all have the same issue.
I have very old Play 3 and Play 5 and brought them out of storage. Can they connect to wifi? If so: how?not tech savvy
I have a SONOS 1SL, that has been working fine for 3 years. Now it is not. After spending hours on the phone with tech support, they said it is my modem, but they could not tell me what modem to purchase. They could only give me a few names of what NOT to buy. Not very helpful. Any suggestions? I am with Bell for internet
Dear Sonos team,I love 7 of my 9 Sonos speakers. Please help me love my Era 300s.I recently upgraded my surround setup with the Arc ultra and two Era 300s. I did this for two reasons:1 I wanted a better home cinema experience with Dolby Atmos. This is working great. 2 I wanted a better music listening experience. This was what convinced my wife that we should get the era 300s, and she is less than happy (I am sad also).The Era 300s are marketed as premium surround speakers, but when set up as surrounds their main driver is turned off. This would make perfect sense if you could seamlessly switch to a stereo pair for music with the main driver on. Unfortunately, you have to completely reconfigure and re-Trueplay the system to switch between music or watching a movie. Please please Sonos team, could you answers the following questions:1 Will it be possible (with a future update) to save two different configurations including the Trueplay information so that we can seamlessly switch betwe
I’ve started to get Crackle only on Spotify on play 3 and play 1 but not on beam, only on spotify and not any any other service. tried re-locating, re-installing apps, putting everything on same network, different controllers etc.
I have/had two good Sonos systems. One in Texas for nine years fabulous s1 products. 4 Pool side , surround inside subs etc in tv room and master bedroom, master bath, office, etc. added a “new” s2 to my Colorado home: extensive . A family member traveled from on to the other and system said upgrade (similar to regular updates). And now my Texas s1 system is CRAP! $10,000 investment destroyed by the new “upgrade” /combo of s2/s1 software. can this be fixed? Please help!
I’m experiencing intermittent dropouts with my Playbar (and surrounds) when playing music (from a NAS) or streaming radio. The audio will stop for around 20s then start again. - This can happen between 2-5 times within an hourIt doesn’t happen when watching TVAll of the wifi connections on the apps (Sonos, Deco and support matrix) all show strong/green.I have a TP deco mesh system and Sonos is wireless.I don’t experience the issue with other stereo pairsIt is not possible to hard wire the playbar, although I can hard wire a Play 1 (which is next to the main deco box), although I invested in the Deco mesh to solve previous SONOS issuesAny ideas?
I have a secondhand sonos play 1 and amp and have done the factory reset but struggling to set up both units. I have downloaded the Controller ap as its an older version but it keeps prompting me to update the app to Play 2 when I have a play 1. How do I set up both units please?
I have a Sonos One unit, probably 5 years old, that I originally had in one room and moved to another. I changed the room in the app and inevitably it always switched back to the old room.I have tried factory resetting it twice and it still goes back each time. After coming home from a month long vacation, my Sonos system shows it’s not connected. This has happened before. I purchased and used NordVPN. Last time I used ExpressedVPN. Every speaker shows not connected except for Move & Move 2, which connects and playing. I disconnected vpn on my iPhone and iPad when we got home today. All of my speakers should show up?
I have two sub mini hooked up to my Sonos Arc and my two Era 300. But my app says subs are not hooked up
I’m running 2 Sonos Play:5 pairs with a Sonos S1 app (version 11.15.4) on an iMac-m1 on the latest Tahoe 26.2. I have an ethernet connection to one of my Play:5s. My audio is coming out of my m3 via USB and then going through a USB->earphone type plug into the Play:5 that has the ethernet connection. I had to rebuild the iMac-m3 that I use as my main computer and now find that when I play music on the m3 and then pause or stop the audio, the S1 app drops out of play mode after 15 seconds. If I then hit play and DON’T play any music it does not drop out of play mode. Is there any way to make it revert to the previous condition where it will always stay in play mode until I hit stop? I have moved into a new home. There was a full system in place consisting of 3 connect amps and a PZ100.I am completely new to Sonos, as soon as my wifi was on, i was able to login and played radio stations as the previous house owner and then made the now known cardinal sin of factory resetting everything, because why would you? But as I have been on it previous, I know the system works.The issue I get, is that I can get all the way through the setup till it comes to connecting the ethernet and finding it after. I get the green light, it says press the mute and + button to find, and then it just cannot find it which is absolutely bewildering to me when ive gone through the wireless part easy and its appears in my I’ve tried my phone, the wifes phone and just gettinf frustrated.I’ve spent 2 hours on with sonos support to No real avail, tried several things. Putting my router to mode 2, disconnecting the upnp or something like that and still wont connect. I’ve read some posts about pote
I have discovered two Sonos speakers that have not been used for about 14 years. I think they may be fives. I cannot connect them using an Ethernet cable to my router and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts. Are they still usable?
I am selecting a speaker that is playing and then open up the join button and select another speaker or two and select apply. It acts like it is working but when it goes back to the playing speaker it doesn't add the new speaker/s. It has worked interesting past but isn't working now.TYIASteve
Another issue please help!!!my Beam is working but now my era 300 won't link if tick both speakers and press apply the beam goes silent, I did have them work on the first day but next day no link, why is it so hard to link?
Is there anyway of setting up my home Sonos system ( linking all speakers together ) without clicking on the button on the back of the Sonos one . My Sonos one is in a casing / mount that I can’t remove ? Any help would be great please ?
I’m using the S1 controller and I have a play one and a play three. I have the iOS app on ver 26. I’m trying to add a second play one but in the app when I go to add a device, the app tells me it needs to update and it wants me to get the Sonos app. I’ve tried deleting the S1 controller app and re-downloading it I’ve tried checking for updates in the S1 controller app But no matter what I do, it won’t let me add a device because it insists the app needs to upgrade to the Sonos app how do I get the S1 app to quit forcing an upgrade and simply let me add a new device ?
I can't seem to get the S5 to be recognized by my Sonos system. My setup: Playbar, Sub, One, One SL. Controller OS: S2.I would like to add my zoneplayer S5 to this system. Is it possible? It used to work when I was using OS: S1. I can no longer install the OS: S1 controller while OS: S2 is installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,I have a problem with my Sonos 5. It seems there is no power altough I took a different outloet. I checked my wifi and there is no oroblem. It just doesn't want to start. What should I do ?Regards Marc
