initially i bought 7.1.2 Sonos system and now i am upgrading to 7.1.4 (era 300) , should i sale Sonos one rear speakers or there is a probability that in future will be able to use them with 7.1.4.?
Has anyone done this upgrade and feel that it was worth it? Normally keep the living room at 50 to 70% of volume. How do the era 100 handle low volume compared to the play one? I'm not worried about television which I don't watch. Living room is the only room sometimes I think the sound is a little bit thin.
Ughh my love hate for Sonos is never ending. I recently purchased a Roam as an addition to my Play:1, One, Play:3, Play:5, and Move. Issues with Roam:Cannot connect to my Play:1. The other systems can connect. I tried via the Move/Play:5. No issues. Roam - “Unable to connect to device” Even if I select “Play everywhere” with Roam as the starting speaker, it still says “Unable to connect to device” and won’t connect to anything. If I select from Roam to my One, no issues. If I select from Move/Play:5 “Play everywhere”, music plays from the Roam device but it does not show up in app. This morning I took the Roam off of the wireless charging dock. The app initially said battery at 15% (it seems to always say this for the first 30 seconds) before eventually saying battery life is 100%. The app also showed music playing on the volume bars, even though nothing was actually playing. I just pick it up from waking up. I have deleted the terrible app and reinstalled it several times (Pixel 6
Yesterday, my “Family Room” speakers and TV disappeared from my Sonos app. Before shutting down Sonos, I was not able to select the TV and turn-off the speakers. Now on the TV, I don’t have sound as the TV can’t find the speakers. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thank you.
I recently moved a One SL into the same living area as I have a Move. When playing through both speakers the One drops in and out regularly. is this related to them playing together and not being compatible as a pair? Or are there other issues I should be trouble shooting have never had a problem with one prior to this.
Hi guys, I recently bought an Era 300 for the living room and a 100 for the kitchen. Both are attached to each other via a mesh network (netgear). When I’m streaming they group fine, though I do get the range extender message which I can just ignore. My issue is that when my turntable is connected to the 300 via line-in I get great sound, but for some reason I cannot get the 100 to stream the sound into the kitchen no matter what I try. Im not sure why streaming works but the line-in doesn’t. If anyone knows the answer I’d be really grateful 🙏
Sonos Power Consumption - Spreadsheet - Final Testing and Analysis ResultsI used a Kill-a-Watt Devices and Tested all my components in all modes. After reading all kinds of posts and insufficient details from Sonos, I have the final word calculated. Enjoy : )CONCLUSIONS:Leave them all on and do as you wish.It would cost me $84 to run my entire system Low Volume 24/7 for a Year.It would cost me $33 to have my entire system Plugged-In Ungrouped Not-Playing for a Year.Hence, selectively stopping, muting, or ungrouping as I "Change Rooms" is a waste of time.UnGrouping is slightly more efficient than Mute. The powerful Play 5 is the largest energy draw, roughly double the other units, at $14 per Year 24/7 Low Volume. The Play 1 is the smallest energy draw, roughly half the average of the other units, at $4.43 per Year 24/7 Low Volume.Spreadsheet with all figures and data for your use.Enjoy - Walt
I’m registering for the first time to my Sonos on the app and it won’t let me, I can hear music with airplay and everything else but I can’t register my speaker to the app so I get to use the voice control, etc.
We have a Sonos One that will not connect to the Sonos 2 app on iPhone 13. I have reset the app, factory reset the Sonos One, plugged in an active ethernet connection, Still, during setup in the app, the app simply will not find the device. And, yes, the Sonos One is on the network. Any suggestions on what to do? Sonos Support, by the way, was not at all helpful.
I have tow of the Play:1 as indoor speakers and a Connect:Amp for outdoors with speakers hardwired to this. I am trying to get podcasts to play on the Sonos using airplay.I go to podcasts (not on Sonos app) and try to airplay, the Sonos systems are not showing up. I am on the same network so it is not a network issue. If I look for podcasts on the Sonos app I do not see the podcasts from my iPhone (most recent model, fully up to date) listed. After doing some reading I think I might have to factory reset all speakers to get them to be recognized. But before I did this I wanted to see if anyone has other suggestions. I am open to other suggestions on how to play podcasts from an iPhone, my wife wants the easiest way possible.
I’ve searched and found other people have the similar issues but no resolution.I have an alarm set for one news radio station. Sometimes it plays correctly, sometimes it will play a different new radio station. If I try to manually play the original station CNBC, it still plays the other. After a few days it went away I’ll play an album. Randomly part way through it plays other unrelated songs. The songs are different artists, styles, and usually ones I don’t listen to. The “continue on” feature is disabled. No one else has access to these accounts. Most of the music is played through Spotify there is no pet that might be touching the speakers The speakers are Sonos SL (no microphone), and are high up where they cannot be touched without the assistance of a ladder One speaker is literally a foot above the router, the other is in another room I’ve rebooted and reset all more than onceOther suggestions?
I have a Sonos One and have trouble with Iheartradio and my Tuner radio dropping out. Spotify works fine. The channel for wifi in the sonos app is 11 and I have set the channel on my router to 1, But it still drops out.Any ideas?
Hi there! I was about to buy two Sonos Roam SL to use as my main mac stereo speakers, but I discovered that they only work via wifi, not bluetooth. Can someone tell me if they can still be used in stereo via wifi (or Airplay 2) and reproduce every sound of the computer (videocalls, browsing, youtube, website sounds, etc) or just the audio apps like spotify or netflix?
I have a customer who has a sub that only produces audio when she streams music. It produces nothing when she turns her TV on to watch a show or movie. The sub is connected to a beam. I walked her through factory reseting to to bring it back into her system fresh but the sub will not reset. Instead of going to a green light for pairing after the reset it continues to blink white. Does anyone know what the issue might be?
Hey guys! I have Symfonisk lamp gen.2 and had no problems with it up until now. It started yesterday, speaker suddenly stopped streaming spotify. I thought it might be something with servers on sonos side or something else not giving it much of thought. However issue didn’t go away today. So basically up until now I tried (several times):hard reboot reconnecting speaker to the app again deleting sonos app, and installing it back again turning router off and on again trouble shooting in the app itself, like “let’s fix it” thing and probably something else which I don’t rememberAnd reaction to all those manipulations seems to be completely random. Sometimes I get successful result, like everything seems to be back to normal. But after a while, couple of minutes, speaker looses connection to wifi, also can’t be seen in the app. Sometimes no success at all. Flash light flashes white, sometimes white and orange, sometimes it is solid white but nothing is happening. I checked forum, it se

Or should I keep the sub 2 connected the Five in the medium room? Also, the sub connected to the arc in the large room isn’t really shaking or rattling the room at all. I honestly was expecting a very large boom for the price. Am I doing something wrong with the sub connected to the arc? 3. Is this the best set up for loud music that could shake the room if needed?
How do you set on alarm on iOS? It says to click on the rooms tab? Where is that? When I click on main bedroom - I don’t see alarm?
BonjourJ'ai essayer de brancher un sub bose 700 avec sonos amp, ca detecte pas , même service technique de sonos non pas trouvé une interpretation, quelqu'un a eu ce type de problème
I’m trying to use the line inputs to output from an electric piano and the delay is unusable. I have it set at 75ms and compressed audioIs there a way around this?
Hi, I have got to one sl's, both of them only have sound coming from the tweeters, nothing from the woofer. Any idea what could have happened? Seems odd for it to fail on both...
I recently renovated majority of my house and had a great system set up. This old system included 3-4 play 3s and two bridges to help connect my living room stereo and garage stereo. After downloading the S2 app, I’ve had no trouble connecting a boost and 2 One SLs on the same account, however, I can’t get anything from the old system to connect to the new one. The S1 app no longer picks up the old system either. What am I doing wrong? And advice will be greatly appreciated!
Haven’t uses my Sonos in a year. How do I set it up again
I upgraded my iphone (13) and Airplay no longer works to connect to Sonos. Airplay requires a synch using a passcode displayed on Sonos products. Obviously , since Ones and Amps don't have screens, I cannot connect. Any solutions out there? It is a Corporate issued phone and I have read a thread about this being a possible lock down from the corporate IT end.I am using my wife and kids phones now to play music outside the Sonos App as a bad workaround.
Changed internet providers. Old wifi equipment is gone, of course, yet after the fact, Sonos instructs me to have both my device/app and the Sonos system on the same network or you can’t switch to the new network. Did anyone at Sonos think this through? And it is the weekend, so no phone assistance from Sonos. Time for this brand to get past 1995 technology. Do we really have to reboot Sonos to switch wifi, nobody, but nobody else requires this. Why did I purchase this system (not the first time I’ve thought it was a mistake)
I am pulling my hair out. I recently changed my WiFi provider so aware I need to move my Sonos one onto the new network however this doesn't seem to automatically take me through the process. I have factory reset the system a number of times and I still get notifications to connect to Sonos temporary WiFi. I tried to connect using the S1 app but diverts me to the updated Sonos app. Not sure what the issue is here but really frustrating. Was working fine until I changed WiFi provider. I have seen other advice to reboot the system which I have done but still no succes. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks
