Hey there!I have a pair of Sonos era 100 since a few weeks - everything worked perfect so far…I use them as a Stereo Pair (L+R) - sound is amazing…Most times i connected my iPhone or iPad with bluetooth because with Wifi are sometimes few seconds where the speakers set off… so that’s why i mostly use bluetooth…I always was connected to the right one with Bluetooth cause its just necessary to connect to one of them to have the stereo sound… since a few days I connect as usually but you don’t hear a sound…but I didn’t change anything… today I tried to connect with the Left one with bluetooth and it works like before… so my question is: what happened with the right one? Is there a damage?
Hi, I have a customer that has 4 play 3's she wants to wall mount can anyone tell me what the screw size is as I can't find one to fit. Is it an imperial size ? as I’ve tread an M5 but it only turns a ¼ before it stops because the threads are not the same. Hence is it imperial size. Thanks in advance
Hi, the last few days the alarm on my Sonos have not played. Not even the chime. I can’t see any reason why, and I’ve even tried to set a new one that also doesn’t work. Diagnostic number 713679030.
I have Sonos 300 in the living room and Sonos 100 in the kitchen and want to be able to sync/pair them to play the same music simultaneously, how do I do that?
Good morning,I was working at my desk and my cat was wandering around on my desk as he always does but there he had been behind my Sonos Five and instead of going around for the very first time he climbed on it with these paws. As a result, he turned the sound on loud while walking on it and I wonder if that could have damaged the speakers of the Sonos Five because I now find the sound muffled and especially in certain pieces I hear hiss crackling. So reassure me or how else do we get a replacement? Thanks in advance
Hi. I am thinking or buying a pair of Ere 300s. I want to use them for streaming music in stereo and I have two questions. I want to position them either side of a chimney breast. Will it be a problem to have the speakers at different heights (other than the aesthetics)? my TV is in the corner so I am probably going to have to limit the TV sound to one speaker as the stereo will be in the wrong place if I use both. I am thinking of wiring the speaker to the TV. Will the speakers be able to work out intuitively whether they are receiving sound from the TV through a wire and send out of one speaker and when they are receiving music wirelessly from my phone and send it to both?Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
I have two era 300’s which I initially paired with a Sonos Beam (Gen 2) to create a sort of Atmos set up without the subwoofer. I also wanted to decouple this set up from time to time to create just a stereo pair with the era 300s and play vinyl/CDs etc.The problem is the Atmos set up is pretty bulletproof and working well but when just paired as a stereo pair the era 300s regularly drop out with only one speaker working or both dropping out.Does anyone have any ideas what could be happening?
Hello Sonos Community - please help! :) I had 1 Play 5 Gen 2 and 2 Play 1s (Gen 1) connected to my Virgin Media WiFi for 3 years no problem. I came back from holiday and it wasn’t connecting on my phone, and forgetting i had a VPN on, factory reset the Sonos. I realised afterwards it was because i had the VPN on my phone. The VPN is now deleted. But I cannot get it to connect again, despite hours of resetting everything on the phone with Sonos Support. From some chat rooms I think it might be because IP addresses have been given out to different devices and this can confuse it.. The temporary network does connect but then it gets stuck, so it seems like maybe my phone cannot connect the temporary WiFi network? It’s the same wifi as before no changed settingsany ideas pleaseee?thanks!
Hi, I recently purchased the Sony Ray and on occasions we get breaks in sound and crackling for two or three seconds on our Sonos ray and connected Sonos 1. We have checked optical lead connections and seem to be ok. Any suggestions would greatly appreciated
I got a new sonos one and it connects to the app fine. Then all of the sudden when I exit out of the app then open it back up the sonos one is not listed in my system. It happens on everyone’s somos app in the house and I thought it was a product problem so I exchanged it. But it is still happening. I tried to turn off my router and then set up all systems again and it is still not working. So every time I want to use it which is a lot I have to factory reset it and set it up again.
How can I clean the speaker cover of the Sonos Arc - over Christmas someone got candle wax on the grill - and although the speaker still works perfectly, it looks awful. Any thoughts please?
Hello,Due to an optical fiber installation in my home, I have to move my ethernet router box close the fiber entry point.I couldn’t anymore connect my SONOS accoustic speaker with a wire connection to build my network (1x S1, 1xS3 and 2 S5) .What speaker can I use to replace my actual S1 entry point for a wifi connection in place of wire connection on my router box. Thanks for your answer.Claude
The Lowest Volume on my Sonos One and One SL is too loud. The amount of volume difference from 1% to 0% is insane. I cannot be the only one who has this issue or thinks this is a problem. I am trying to watch TV at night, and just having these speakers on at 1% is way too loud. I have messed with every setting, even played with the volume limit of my paired Beam, but still, the stark contrast from when the speaker literally has absolute zero volume, to just the very next and very first step is wayy too much. I have wrapped them in towels, even acoustic sound absorbing panels, but there has to be a better way.. It just literally makes no sense why the volume control is so weak[Which then brings up another question/thought: What do you guys normally set your volume to? I don’t believe I have ever even remotely went past 65% on purpose, and my tv is regularly set in that 12-18 range.]
I am using each Ruijie access point in each room of my home. I installed my Sonos ERA 100 pair (stereo) in the living room. The Sonos speaker connects to Ruijie AP in the Living Room. I move to the main bedroom; my mobile phone connects to Ruijie AP in the Main Bedroom; when I open the Sonos application from my mobile, I try to control the Sonos speaker in the living room. The application can not discover the Sonos speaker. The error message tries to connect with the same wifi network of the Sonos system speaker. My setting of the AP Wifi is L2 Roaming, and there is no VLAN. I checked with my mobile phone port scanner application from the AP Living Room and AP Master Bedroom to my Sonos speaker IP address, and there are the same four open ports. Anybody help me solve this issue so I can control the Sonos Speaker from any room? Thank you
HiI know there are a lot of threads on this, so apologies is this is repeated anywhere, but I am struggling to maintain good connections for any length of time. I do have a tricky house to manage (L shaped) and I have BT wifi disks to get decent Wifi coverage throughout.Current set up:BT smart hub 2, so I can’t split and rename channelsA play 1 hard wired to my router in my study and all other devices connected to the sonosnet - I have chosen channel 11 as my router still has some 2.4hz devices on channel 6I have two sets of stereo pairs.I have two main issues:When checking the matrix, I’m seeing a 9 on the Ethernet connected Play 1 - What I don’t understand is it gets worse in the evening. For example at 3pm when I was working in the study, the level was a 5. Now it is a 9, and I’m not in the room, so my laptop is interferring less than it would have been. why is it now a 9?We often find one of the stereo pairs drop out and needs a reboot. It doesn’t help that these pairs are the
Lost connection to Alexa. Cycled power, disabled and re-enabled Alexa skill, etc. finally decided to try a reset on my Sonos One. Now when I am in setup inside the Sonos app I timeout and get an error trying to register the device. Tried for 2 days now to get it to register. So frustrating. Any ideas? edit - today I tried connecting via Ethernet but that didn’t help. Also made a new Sonos account and transferred the One to it. It transferred ok, but registration to new account had same issue.

HiI have a new WiFi. All three products are now connected after I turned Play:3 and One back to original settings. The problem is that I cannot connect to the S2 app. It says Not connected. I have tried to restart several times and turn on and off. Nothing works. Please help 🙏
I have two roam devices which were a pain to set up the first time around, but after the initial set up worked fine for about 3 months. We changed our network, so I tried to change the network on the S2 App. After that they stopped working completely, so I factory reset them (many times) until one of the two devices worked. The second one still does not want to get set up properly. I can add it, but after the add the message “Your Sonos Roam has been added, but may not appear in the System tab. If so, press and hold the power button for 5 Seconds, then turn your Sonos Roam back on to finish setup from the System tab.” shows up. I do as I am told, turn the Sonos off and on again and nothing. I cannot complete setting it up, I cannot update its software, sometimes if I am very lucky, I see a popup where I can adjust the network but that will not work either. And at this point I have tried for what feels like 100 times. I do not know what else to do. I do not think it is my network as my
Hi,I’ve just got box broadband and everything is great expect I can’t connect a play 3 and a play 5 speaker. The play 5 is very close to my to tv setup and still won’t connect. I’ve followed all the app instructions but still nothing. any advise is much appreciated
I would like to use my ERA 100 speakers as an audio output for my PlayStation.I tried an adapter linking the speaker to the TV (receiving the PS5 sound through HDMI) but the sound wasn’t pushed to the speaker. I decided to go for a Bluetooth adapter plugged in the PS5, but I’m facing a wall here and I’m not sure how to proceed to make it work. The PlayStation won’t recognize the speakers while I have the speaker in pairing mode.
Hi all, My sonos 3 is flashing white and when trying to connect on the app, it gets to the stage where it needs to play a chime but it never does play a chime. i have tried to reset it multiple times but it stays flashing amber and never turns green, even after waiting hours. it doesn’t show up on bluetooth either. On the app it says to press the mute button if chime doesn’t play, and i have many times, but it still won’t connect. I’m not sure what to do at this point if anyone has any idea what’s up with it thanks from edward

Hello, I need help with audio cutting out and in while group playing music everywhere in the house. My “Family Room” group is the room that cuts out and in intermittently while listening to music but the other rooms continue playing normally. Very irritating. The Family Room includes the Sonos Playbar, Sub, and two Sonos Ones with surround sound set up for our main TV. No connection to router issues as the router is in the same room right next to the playbar. Completely factory reset all devices in the room but unfortunately the issue returned. The TV is not on during streaming of music. Please help!
