Hey people.Im having a problem with my Apple TV 4K, the problem is that I set up everything perfectly, and everything worked flawless, I’m using 2 Sonos 1 gen2 as tv speakers, and I’m used to start up the Apple TV and my tv, then open the airplay setup, and change from tv speakers to sonos speakers, which are set up as a room, but after 2 days, my sonos setup doesn’t show up in the AirPlay menu anymore🤷🏻‍♂️ I can’t choose anything in there besides my lousy tv speakers. Does anyone in here have a solution on that, it’s really making me think if this will ever work, I’ve tried to delete the app, reset the speakers and so on, but it doesn’t last for more than a day or two, and they are missing again😢 Heeeellllppp.

Hi I have an imported playlist which contains 1430 songs. When I add the playlist to the queue in one room  (office) it brings it in correctly with the right amount of songs. If i clear the office queue and add the same imported playlist to another room (living room) it only includes 1164 songs ! How can this be?No other rooms have any other playlists in their queue.How does one room display the same playlist differently to another and more importantly how do i fix it?Thanks in advance for any help. 

Are the Sonos in ceiling speakers airtight?I’m  doing a new build and any intrusions in the ceiling including speakers need to be airtight. I have sourced sealed LED down lights no problem but are the Sonos ceiling speakers sealed?This is to prevent heated air escaping into the roof void. Thanks

I’ve had Sonos for YEARS now.  Recently, I feel a little bit after the split of S1 vs S2, I’ve been experiencing an issue where my speakers forget what they were last playing when they were last stopped, as if power had been lost and came back on again.For example, the Sonos One speaker in my bathroom typically is used to play one of several Pandora stations.  Over the past several weeks, when I try to resume the speaker, it will just “bee-boop” alerting me that the app will say “No music selected”.  So I go into the app (or ask Alexa) to play a Pandora station while I get ready for the day.  When I’m finished in the bathroom, I hit the button on the top of speaker to pause the music.  The next day when I go back into the bathroom to start the music again...”bee-boop”.Is this an app issue, or a network issue, or something else?Diag: 2137729814 

I have a Sonos 5 connected to an Audio Technica AT-LP120X turntable with built-in pre-amp.  The sound quality is horrible, what can I try to do to improve it?

Hi,when I use my Sonos One alarm I receive a notification on the screen of my iPhone XS (iOS 13.6.1). I then use 3D touch to be given the option to snooze. When I select snooze I get an alert to say “No alarm is playing” and can’t then snooze the alarm without opening Sonos App stopping the music and setting another alarm. It’s the same whether using music, radio or the Sonos chime options for the source.Does anyone know how to fix this?Thanks.

I’m having significant lip sync / audio sync issues with the Optoma UHZ65UST (known as P1 Pro in the US) and Sonos Arc.  I have my video source with DD+ going into the Optoma HDMI 2 port, and the Sonos Arc connected to the Optoma HDMI 1 port (ARC). The Optoma manual confirms that DD+ / ATMOS is supported on HDMI 1 port.  My Sonos Arc is paired with 2 x Play 1 and 1 x Sub (gen 2?) over wifi.Sometimes I’m able to get the audo back in sync by switching the Optoma back to its own desktop / settings view, then switching back to view HDMI 2. This re-triggers EDID negotiation for the projector. But this doesn’t work for all video sources, and often results in losing the DD+ and ending up with 5.1.  The Optoma does have a audio latency control, but even setting this at the maximum (-50ms) is not enough to get the audio in sync.Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated. Issue: I can not listen to two pairs of stereo paired speakers at the same time (one in the bedroom and one in the living room). I purchased my first pair of One SL speakers on 12/01 and got a second pair a few days later on 12/11. First let me say that the One SL as a stereo pair sounds amazing! That is also why this issue is so frustrating. According to the Sonos app on my Galaxy S9+ running Android 10, I have “Living room” and “Main Bedroom” as my speaker target options. Like I have mentioned, I have a pair of One SLs in each room. I have created stereo pairs with both. But this only works if I listen in one room or the other. If I try to select both rooms, I lose stereo pairing in one of the rooms. In some cases, despite what the animated equalizer icon indicates, I lose playback in one of the rooms entirely. If I deselect one of the two rooms, three things tend to happen: 1) Playback resumes (if I lost it) in the remaining room selected 2) whatever track I was listening to starts

I have an old Boston Acoustics soundbar with wireless subwoofer. I have replaced it with the Sonos Playbar. I was wondering if there is any way for me to use the wireless soundbar (which has no other inputs) with the Sonos Playbar?The sub has only a few settings on it: Wireless ID switch: 1, 2, 3, 4 Volume knob Power buttonIt would be great to bring it back to life. Let me know if there is any way to get this paired with Sonos.

Dear, Could you be so kind and help me with this issue? Old SONOS ZP90 act as bridge was died and I search replacement device. Someplace on this forum I was read that new SONOS Connect (2019) can cooperate with old one, but only with firmware S1.I connect new device to new network and step by step connect another older and resets devices type of ZP90. On application Sonos S1 I may manage new Connect, search old one (mac adress show) but I can add to system by timeout. Can you any advice to help me connect one working togeter? 

I’m new to Sonos and thinking of getting and arc or beam along with a Sonos amp to power my current non Sonos in ceiling speakers.  Firstly is the amp compatible with 4K TVs?Secondly, would I connect the beam / arc to the tv with hdmi and the amp wirelessly (apart from current speakers)? Finally, I gather my current subwoofer won’t work with the surround using the amp but would the Sonos sub work? Thanks

Hi, I recently purchased the Sonos Arc and 2 x One SLs. In the first week i had no issues but now they keep dropping out whilst watching TV. I have seen a number of people are having the same issue as me. My Arc is connect to the HDMI eARC port and my TV supports Dolby Atmos. I have tried disconnecting, rebooting etc etc and still have the same issue. Can someone help fix this issue otherwise i will be sending these products back? Thanks,

I seem to have encountered a bug/limitation... I have ethernet to my surround setup (Arc, Sub, 2xSL) with the exception of one surround. By disabling wifi on the wired items, the single surround that remains on wifi will not play audio. The fix was to re-enable wifi on the Arc, that fixes the issue. Since I have ethernet wired to the Arc, I would prefer to disable wifi. Is this a known issue?

I have been using a google next system for some time, but since upgrading my Sonos to S2 connection of speakers is very unreliable and I need to reconnect at least one speaker every few weeks. In the past week my Sonos Base stopped appearing in the speaker list and today I went through the process to try to reconnect it. After several attempts I could not get it to connect and so went through the reset process. I now have the speaker sitting with Green flashing LED but nothing is appearing in system when I try to add product. Have tried from both iPhone and iPad both using IOS 14.2 version.

Hello, I have a problem from few day (I have my Sonos system since 8 years … My configuration didn’t change since 3 years ...) Some Sonos are not recognized on my Sonos AppFor information AxL speaker is in ethernet and central in my home :)(Mac OS, iOs ...) but I can find it in my network Application (Sonos have IP adress ...) They are not connected on my Wifi Network because I need different SSID (for external for example ..)Strange thing, in the night My system is fully operationnal and in the morning … The problem come back, Only One, 2 or 3 Speaker are recognize by Sonos App.If I restart my box, Speaker come back for few minutes or hours … But, problem come back …. Have you an idea ? I tried to restart my box (French Livebox), OK for few minutesI tried to restart my Wifi box (Unifi), not OKI tried to restart my speakers, not OK Diag : 83559098. *Moderator Note: Please censor personal information when posting pictures.*

I’ve read all the posts on “rooms dropping”. My situation seems slightly different. I’ve never had this problem until I bought the ARC recently. I reset my SL’s and Sub and created a new room where the ARC is the master device. Everything setup and worked perfectly. It’s also connected via the HDMI/ARC connection in the TV. Now, periodically, while I’m watching a show/movie, the sound will completely cut out in that room and at the same time the TV will tell me that it just lost the source for that video/audio input. When I go to my Sonos app, it shows that the room and it’s devices are GONE….completely gone. BUT I can still see all my other rooms and their respective devices. Then, without doing anything, the “new” ARC based room will just suddenly reappear with it’s devices and the audio will continue based on the show I’m watching. Everything is connected via the Boost and my WiFi signal is very strong. 

The App forgets one of my speakers all the time no reset it and get it working but after a while when I reopen the app the speaker is missing. However it is still an option for the Spotify app and works perfectly through that. I’ve tried everything except a full system reset. Any ideas?

Hello there,I have a Sonos ZP80 and trying to connect it using my Sonos s1 app on iPhone.When I plugged it to power the light is still flashing white and never stop and I am unable to connect to the ZP80!!I tried to hard reset the ZP80 and the App several times , But unfortunately I still unable to connect.Please help.

Have a wired S1 Sonos system running Sonosnet.When playing something on my system and then relaunching the iOS app after a little while to change the track, the app freezes straight away when trying to reconnect and then crashes to the homescreen. Relaunching the app after crashing works.I am still able to control the S1 volume from the iOS homescreen in between these episodes and my CR200 functions perfectly.I have run the Network matrix to have a look at the units and everything seems ok.Changing Sonosnet channel does not help. Grateful for any advice.

sound up and down on tv adverts and films looses clarity… I reach for the remote to turn it up then later its too loud so I turn it down its driving me mad. I have a Beam a sub and 2 play 1s … I have looked through the replies on this forum but still no answer that we can try ???

is Alexa unable to speak calendar notifications?

Straight out-of-the-box, my Beam has been experiencing connectivity issues. It appears, in the end, I might have bought a lemon & I’ll be exchanging it for a fresh one tomorrow. However, this has got me thinking: after my Beam is properly set-up, how much functionality will it maintain if I experience an Internet disruption (regardless of whether I’m using a wired or wireless set-up)? I presume, at the most basic level, the HDMI connection to my TV and Blu-Ray player will continue working fine. Is that a safe assumption? And obviously I’d also lose access to Sonos services / streaming (and, presumably, the ability to adjust EQ etc on my Beam?). But, in between those two extremes: would functionality like Bluetooth and AirPlay also be lost in the case of an Internet connection failure? When I was experiencing the WiFi problems, I was amazed that I even couldn’t get AirPlay to work from my iPhone. And I’m trying to wrap my head around how “Internet-dependent” the Sonos ecosystem real

I don’t think what I want to do is unreasonable in 2021.I want one easy screen to turn on and off rooms and show/change what music is playing and control volume.  Preferably in Homekit.I don’t want to have to open the sonos app just to turn on and off music, in a smart home trying to open and close multiple apps is just annoying and clumsy.In Apple HomeKit right now I can see my rooms except for one which has a Playbar.  However if I start a group in sonos then if I click any one room in HomeKit it turns ALL the rooms off/on together.I have Alexa, hubitat, and homekit/apple in my home.  There HAS to be a way but I don’t see why it should be so hard to do. 

I have a fairly old Sonos 5 Gen 1 (and an entire house wired with Sonos - eight roooms with Sonos amps, subs etc.) The 5 shows no power. I have tried multiple leads, fuses, sockets, everything except a defibrillator, but it is totally dead. Rigour mortis is setting in.Looking online it seems that many customers experienced a short life expectancy with 1st Gen Sonos 5’s and some have had their units replaced or received a discount to replace or upgrade. Does anyone have experience of this?
