I’m really enjoying the SONOS Arc but last night encountered a frustrating problem that I could not resolve. On hearing a song I liked during the closing credits of a TV show I’d been watching, I found the song on Spotify and played it on the Arc, the TV was still ON but without the audio. Once the song from Spotify had finished I wanted to resume watching the TV but could not get TV audio back on the Arc. I tried adjusting the TV volume level, checked that Auto Play was switched on in the Arc settings, turned the TV off and then on again but nothing worked. I have the Arc connected to an LG OLED65C7V TV via the HDMI (ARC) output. I’m sure there must be a simple away of switching between TV and Music On the Arc but, whatever it is, I either couldn’t find it or it’s not working for me ! Any helpful advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

I have a 2020 I phone SE, when using my arc and subwoofer…..the Sonos app will quickly disconnect from WI-FI AND Then quickly reconnect the music doesn’t stop when it disconnects….I’m just not able to pause or change volume, also when I go to settings and look at system the Arc and sub sometimes are said to not connected so I can’t adjust my volume settings….I have reinstalled app reconnected Wi-Fi and it solves the problem for few minutes….thinking about getting new phone but don’t want to have same problem if it is in fact the app. Any info let me know

I have a 75” Samsung smart tv with a E-Arc port after Install the audio keep cutting out every 20 seconds checked the tv setting and audio set on auto and keeps switching back and forth tv audio out to external speakers out. I also have a blueray hooked up to hdmi port1

Hello,I have a Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB that I bought a year ago but haven’t used in several months. Now when I turn it on, the turntable does not spin. It seems to me like I am missing a piece that would insert into the silver wheel that then turns the clear plastic turntable. The silver wheel is spinning but is not in contact with the clear turntable so the turntable does not spin. It seems like I am missing a piece but I’m not sure and can’t seem to find a manual or anything online. Is anyone able to offer any insight? Thanks so much

I have a Sonos system including a sound bar and 2 speakers. I want to connect my turn table to my system. I bought the the Sonos Port to connect my turn table to my system. When I installed my Sonos Port it created a new system for it? I cannot uninstall my Sonos Port to try to reconnect it to my first system. I’m stuck. Help!

Hi, I have a sonos arc and one symfonisk frame and am trying to add the symfonisk as a speaker to the sonos arc. I have both added in the app.  But when searching for surround speakers in the app for sonos arc, symfonisk does not show up. My question is if this is possible, and can I connect one frame to the soundbar arc or is it important to have two frames? Alternatively is it possible to have a frame and another device from the sonos group connected? Thank you with regards, Ondrej

I have 2 Sonos ones in a stereo pair. Only one can be set to run google assistant.I think it would be nice to have the option to have google assistant answer on both / all speakers. Currently the response will only come from the one that is set to run google assistant, and I dont see any way to change that. This would be nice for example when asking google to play pink noise or anything similar, where sound appears to be coming from google as opposed to having sonos play from a music service.Even better would be if all speakers could listen for the wake word, and then start the command from whichever hears better

I am struggling with configuring my VPN (Norton 360) to work with online streams. I have set a split tunnel for the Sonos.exe desktop app in the VPN and that enables my NAS content without problem. However all online services seem to be inaccessible, Pandora, Amazon music, TuneIn Radio, Sonos Radio etc are not accessible with the VPN. I can toggle the services off and on with the VPN (some latency with VPN off as the Sonos desktop app seems to keep some memory on last accessed content)Note also that the streams are accessible with active VPN through a web browser without problemThanks for any advice on how to configure Sonos desktop or VPN

Hi all, how have folks connected their sound bars to a projector? Afraid I’m flying a little blind without an HDMI cable or Bluetooth option.

I have a Sonos Beam connected via ethernet and a Symfonisk Lamp connected via WiFi.I always used the Airplay share from Apple Music to play on my system and until now it has worked quite reliably. But a few days ago, my Beam stopped working, it says ”Unable to connect to Sonos Beam” when I try to start AirPlay. The Symfonisk Lamp still works and also when I try to start music from the Sonos app, everything works fine. The things I tried:Remove the ethernet from the Beam and try to connect via WiFi Turn off and on bluetooth, WiFi, airplane mode Restart everything: speakers, router, iPhone Start to play from a different device: I tried from an iPad and a Mac, but the same resultAll my software is on the latest update. Any idea what else I could do? Thanks!

Hi,I’m waiting for delivery of a pair of Fives and a Sub for our fairly large living room. The Fives will be on shelves on the rear wall of the room.  Is it best to have the Fives vertically with the tweeters (controls) on the insides. Any advantage in having them toed in? TVM.

In our living room we have a Beam (Hard wired) and 2 Play:1’s (wireless) as a stereo pair.Kitchen: 2x One’s (wireless) as a stereo pair.Dining Room: 2x One’s (wireless) as a stereo pair.Downstairs Bathroom: 2x Roams. This has all worked perfectly for over a year. All 3 zones have perfect WiFi coverage.Today I tried to add 2x One SL’s, 2x Sub Gen 3’s and an Arc to our media room (converted garage)Our WiFi coverage works literally half way into this room, the rear ones were picked straight away as they are closer to the router but adding the arc and subs took forever of hitting retry, and rebooting I eventually realised it was because of the WiFi, I added a hardwired WiFi access point with a different SSID and tried to add the new stuff to the new network, after over an hour failing I disconnected the access point and hardwired all the new stuff, rebooted it and one by one (totally stupid) disabled WiFi and now everything but 1 sub works.I can factory reset it and it shows up for a few mi

I have a PC with my RTX 3090 hooked to a Benq TK700Sti. I then have the eARC returned from the projector to the Beam, Sub, and two One SL.  In the sound settings in windows, it senses that the max number of channels is 6, and also shows several supported formats, which includes Dolby digital 5.1. Additionally, I am able to go through setup and select correct correct positions and even enable the 5.1 setting. Everything seems like it should work.  The problem is that when I actually try to test the speakers, the left and right channels are the only ones that play sound. If I click on the symbol of any other channel in the testing diagram, no sound plays. Also, if I play Netflix or something, the Sonos app says it is playing in stereo PCM.  The 5.1 setup is identical for my Apple TV 4K and my PS5, and I get proper Dolby Digital 5.1 with those.  Any idea what the problem could be?

I was very excited to get my Sub Mini and try it out.  It showed up on my app to add.  I added it as was instructed but it will not show up in the app.  I have chatted with Sonos and spoke to a live person.  Completed multiple factory re-sets of my playbar and sub mini.  Tried starting whole new system.  Factory reset  my whole Wi-Fi mesh system.  Tried Ethernet to connect as well.   The sub mini is showing on my network as connected to the same network as my play bar.  The app says it is connected but it just does not show up to be added to my play bar.   I really love Sonos but this has really been frustrating and making me rethink adding to the system.  Any help would be great.

Hello all,I’ve an issue with my Sonos Amp and my LTE 4G router/modem TP-link MR600. Hoping I’d get som advice here 🙏🏻The Amp (wireless) gets its dynamic IP from the router but for some reason the Sonos app, which I’m told communicates with the router rather than the Amp, stops working along with the pop up “cannot connect to Sonos”.Upon rebooting the router it all works for an hour or two and then it fails again. The Sonos Amp is the only unit in the system.I’ve no guest-network.5Ghz is disabled Unfortunately the Sonos support stopped supporting when they learned I’m using an LTE modem, (fiber not available) as they cannot guarantee functionality for their products using 4G internet. I don’t quite buy that as the reason the app loses connectivity though. I do however realise that a combined modem/router like my TP-link MR600 may not be the best setup and that possibly a separate router would be preferred.Any help or hints would be very appreciated 🙏🏻

I'm new to streaming and would like to know how to wire up a sonos connect to an amplifier and an external (separate) dac

Can I use CONNECT with the new Sonos  S2 APP to Line-In music to an old Play:5 ?

I have a Beam 2 connected to a Samsung TU8000 series TV via eARC and is my sole speaker for sound. The TV signal is from a DirecTV Mini Genie but via a Orei HDMI Splitter/Extender system. The Mini Genie is set to 1080i and 1080P. I have a choice of sending to the TV:1080P, 2CH Audio 1080P, Dolby/DTS5.1 1080P, HD Audio 1080i, 2CH Audio 1080i, HD AudioSince the Beam 2 is providing the sound for my Samsung TV what would be the best signal to send to it?

I have two Roam speakers. Both are on magnetic wireless chargers. I have been using them since first released. I noticed recently that one of my Roam is showing 96% charged and temperature is “hot” and has not been charging to 100% for the last couple of weeks.Any idea why this is?Other information - I am living in a country with 220V power although I have had no issues with mag-safe charging to date. The tech spec for the SONOS wireless charging pad is rated 110V-240V so I do not think that is the issue… and the other charger seems to be working without any problem.

I am buying a second hand Sonos arc, and want to see if it is legit. Here is the serial numberA100 2203CY ********************* Mod edit: removed serial - identifying information

Hi there, I am kind of over Sonos at this point. We have had a Play 3 for about 10 years and my wife has been having connection issues forever basically. We decided to buy a 2nd hand Play 5 Gen 2 this week from CEX. Go to connect it and the Play 5 cannot be foundWe…. Factory reset → orange / white lights flashing Play 5 - nothing Power on/off a billion times. reset router - nothing plugged Play 5 into network wired.  turned off old Play 3 - keeping Play 5 wired. keeps trying to find Play 3, and indeed seems to find it despite being off. Maybe by MAC address without power? wired Play 3 and Play 5 - nothing ended up with Play 3 connected via wired and needed to faff about to get it back.checked bluetooth, it’s on. Phone is right next to Play 5, it can’t find it.I am just beyond understanding where to go next. Any ideas? At what point is the product just faulty and I’m no longer being an idiot. Many thanks.RobL

Just got my sonos five and when I try to connect to my Apple Music app, I get the error message “We’ve run into a problem try again.”  I have tried all the trouble shoot that I have found on the various threads and nothing worked.
