Hello,

I have a Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB that I bought a year ago but haven’t used in several months. Now when I turn it on, the turntable does not spin. It seems to me like I am missing a piece that would insert into the silver wheel that then turns the clear plastic turntable. The silver wheel is spinning but is not in contact with the clear turntable so the turntable does not spin. It seems like I am missing a piece but I’m not sure and can’t seem to find a manual or anything online. Is anyone able to offer any insight?

The belt is missing, big slightly stretchy rubber band.

 

You can get replacements off eBay or your nearest hifi shop can help.
