I have Era 300s and 100s in white. Is the Arc Ultra and Sub gen 4 white all the same shade of white?

Hi, Installation of 2x Era 100 speakers -On setup, they appear one by one, exactly as they should do. They take a couple of minutes to join the Wi-Fi, and then they disappear. We’ve factory reset a couple of times and tried with different login accounts (4 in total) as we were getting this message “To manage these settings, sign out and sign back in as the owner of this system.” but I created the System, how am I not the owner? Firewall ports have been opened as per Sonos advice online. Can play over Airplay via Spotify, but it’s like they don’t exist when trying to access through the Sonos app.Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

When will this be on the Sonos Road map?  There is no reason for Sonos to force customers to spend more money on the larger sub if they already own the mini’s.  This is just greedy practices. If this will never be on the roadmap, please advise, so i can start to phase my future purchases to another companys product.  Sonos has not done well by its loyal customers and this is a simple fix if you wanted to generate some good faith among customers that you would like to keep.

Unable to load content in app AGAIN! Come on Sonos, sort it out!

Hi. I have pair of Sonos SL One speakers which I previously paired with my Mac. I now want to use them elsewhere paired with music for streaming from my iPhone. I’ve factory re-set both of them but when trying to pair them with my phone on my home wifi, I can’t get past the stage where I have to input my wife code- this results in an error message saying the wifi can’t be found. I’ve updated the Sonos app on my phone, deleted it and re-installed it but can’t get the speakers to pair. Any help appreciated.

Just reading the “Switch Sonos between a wireless and wired setup” document athttps://support.sonos.com/en/article/switch-sonos-between-a-wireless-and-wired-setupand it mentions to have one device connected via Ethernet, then the other products will change over to the newly created Sonos network. But I have multiple Sonos devices spread over 3 floors. Will this method still work? or should I switch to a Wireless network and just use my Wi-Fi (There is a Access Point close to every Sonos)I assume this setup mean NO device should be connected via Ethernet Thank for any help LEVEL 1ARC: ONE-SL: ONE-SL: SUB: LEVEL 2BEDROOM PLAYBAR: PLAY:1: PLAY:1: SUB: BATHROOMFIVE:ROBEIKEA SYMFONISK LAMP: LEVEL 3PLAYBAR:

Hi there, I understand there is an option to return my sonos arc, pay 100 euro’s more and get the new sonos Arc ultra. A similar thing can be done with the new sub.I have purchased my sonos Arc 2 years ago and I did not buy it directly from Sonos but from a third party in Slovakia. My products are registered however in the sonos page.Am I eligible to return and just pay the difference between the new and old?I would really hope so but if that is the case how would I go about doing so considering my location?Thank you

Hi. I have 4 tourist rentals all connected to the same wifi network. I have set up 4 Era 100’s using this network. At the moment, if one guest uses the Era 100 in their rental, the music is also played in the other rental properties. Clearly my other guests do not want to hear each others music! If I disable the wifi on each speaker, can the guests still play music via Bluetooth only? Or is wifi mandatory?

Hi there!I am getting really frustrated with trying to install Alexa on my new Era 300. I have tried several times, factory reseting speaker but still - at first there is only one option to add vooce assistent - Sonos voice assistent. When I succesfully add it, then click on add voice assistent it just gives me the option to use third part smart device to control Sonos speaker (which I do not want - I want to install and use Alexa on Era 300), and leads me to quick help manual. No other options at all. Also in the Amazon Alexa app - there is no Sonos skill, for that matter anyways?!i have tried to reinstall both apps (Sonos and Amazon Alexa app) with no luck. please help!

Hello,I recently decided to digitalize my CD collection in FLAC, and replace the library of MP3s I had.I never experienced any problems with playing MP3s on my different Sonos devices, either directly from the Library, or with Plex inside Sonos app. Also sometimes I play from the Symfonium App (linked to the Plex library) and Cast on Sonos devices. My setups are:Main Room: ARC + 2 Era 300 + SubBedroom: IKEA SYMFONISK LampBathroom: Sonos 1But since I want to play FLACs i experienced different behaviour depending on the devices i want to play those files. I’ve made some tests with the same track: FLAC, 44,1khz, 16bit, 940kb/sHere are the Results: Bathroom (1 Sonos 1) :- Symfonium, File from Plex Library : OK, plays perfectly- Symfonium, File locally on phone: OK, plays perfectly- Symfonium, Jellyfin : OK, plays perfectly- Sonos app, Plex: OK, plays perfectly Bedroom (1 IKEA SYMFONISK Lamp) :- Symfonium, File from Plex Library : OK, plays perfectly- Symfonium, File locally on phone: OK, pla

Hi, I’m hoping somebody here can help me, as after one hour on the official help line they left me high & dry. My issue is that I cannot access my rooms on the app, I have 6 individual speakers in each room listed as Bedroom 1, bedroom 2 etc. So, what’s happened is that I have a grey area at the bottom of my screen where my room list is usually shown, and this is where I used to be able to group, alter rooms I want playing, by ‘Apply’ - the new App function. I’m at my wits end - I’ve deleted & re installed the App, my system is showing up in Settings correctly, there is nothing wrong with my Internet or Bluetooth connection, I still can’t access my rooms. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My original Playbar does not appear to be on WiFi nor are there lights on the Ethernet jack.  The power cord for my playbar is snaked behind a accent wall that my 75” tv hangs from 1/any suggestions on hot to get the internet going or 2/resetting the sound bar without unplugging the plug from the wall?

I have just purchased  a beam 2 but cannot get beyond the WiFi connection set up phase.I have split my router and connected TV to 2.4GHz, disabled VPN for Sonos and mobile device and still cannot connect using the correct password. It won't connect via ethernet either as it drops out straight away after coming through the speaker. I'm at a loss here and frustrated to say the least

Hi,Is there a digital optical (SPDIF) input in order to connect an external streamer/DAC to the new ARC Ultra, busides the HDMI eARC ?In the specs it is not listed, and the pics so far are not detailed enough. Many thanks !

Having a party and switched off all of the speakers except one.  When I tried to then add the others back, they showed check marks in the app as if they were connected, but no music playing, and were grayed out.  Tried rebooting app, using another iPhone to control, using my MacBook to control.  Nothing.  Party had to continue with no music.  I spent a fortune installing speakers, turntable, soundbar, multiple amps.  Am soooo frustrated!

Hi all just got  some era 300s to use as rears for my ARC ultra. Is there any news on the centre channel being activated in surround mode using non Atmos content? I have them on 10 and find them still a bit quiet

The Sub 4 isn't showing in the 'Your System' summary, or when adjusting individual speakers, but does show when I go into Manage/About your system/ - it shows there as in the same room and connected. Does this mean it's connected but not active? How do I get it active and showing in the summary  ? If I try to add another speaker or component from there, nothing shows up.

I currently have an arc, sub gen 2, and for rear surrounds a One and a One SL. If I upgraded to the arc ultra with the gen 4 woofer, can I keep my gen 2 woofer and combine it with the gen 4 one for a dual sub set up? Or do both speakers need to be at least gen 3? Wasn't sure if I could use a pre gen 3 sub with a post gen 3 one. I'm sure the answer is yes but given the cost and how long I keep these things I figure doesn't hurt to triple check.

Have 4 Sonos ports as part of a media system wired to play throughout the house. Music Appears to playing from the Sonos app, yet no sound in the house. All ports and plugs have been checked and reset. They are green, so all appears properly connected. Any suggestions to fix?

Until the beginning of this week my pair of Era 100's were producing perfect surround sound when installed with a Beam and using the S1 app. A few days ago I swapped out the Beam for an Arc Ultra and also updated the Sonos app. Now the Era's are almost silent. The new app has removed the means of controlling the sound level for the Era's. I have EQ adjustments set to loud. I've done a trueplay on all. They all display a stable white light. Should I revert to the S1 app? Will that work with the Ultra?

Hi- for about a week now, when I play a playlist it will play the same song on repeat, move randomly to another, play that repeatedly and over and over again. Any suggestions? The queue only shows the one song that it’s currently repeating

Hi there, everytime I turn on my sonos ace, usually there is a blue light which allows me to know that it is on. However, these past few days, when I turn on my headphone, the light just blink blue once and it does not stay there. This makes it difficult for me to know whether my headphone is on or off. if you guys have any solutions, please let me know.  Thank you

My Sonos 1 just suddenly quit. I tried reconnecting to the WiFi network it worked on last week, but it can’t see the Network. I tried Factory reset, I tried “update network”, I tried “set up new  system” and even connected the Sonos directly to the router via ethernet - and the Sonos still sees no network. Is the Sonos broken ?  Is there a remedy ?

I have 2 home networks, the family network (call it “Fam”) and an IoT network (call it “Dev”). The Sonos devices are on the IoT, as are my Apple HomePods (which I use for voice control). The family’s iPhones are on the family network. The two networks can see and address one another, although they are on different netblocks. At the moment there is no firewall between the two networks.Devices on Fam can see the Sonos speakers. For instance, I can ping them from my computer. But I cannot AirPlay to them, and they do not show up on in the Sonos app. I cannot control them from Siri on the Fam device. If I switch the device to Dev, it can see the Sonos devices, identify them in AirPlay, and control them.It used to work across networks until I switched the Fam network to a new device. The biggest relevant difference I can see is the new Fam network requires a new netblock. So my guess is that AirPlay and other device discovery is just using the broadcast IP on the netblock to find the Sonos
