SONOS 1 Can Not Connect to WiFi

My Sonos 1 just suddenly quit. I tried reconnecting to the WiFi network it worked on last week, but it can’t see the Network. I tried Factory reset, I tried “update network”, I tried “set up new  system” and even connected the Sonos directly to the router via ethernet - and the Sonos still sees no network.

Is the Sonos broken ?  Is there a remedy ?

In general Factory Reset, while it might accidentally, temporarily work through an issue, it is generally a waste of time. Since Support suggested the reset, go ahead because they have access to more data than is available to us.

Factory Reset trashes all music service registrations and SONOS Playlists in the player that is reset. This is what can cause the extra work. Factory Reset also trashes historic diagnostic data that Support may have been able to use to identify the root cause of the issue.

If there are other players in the system, they will refresh music service registrations and SONOS playlists when the reset player is added back into the system.

How does a “Factory Reset” hurt , when nothing else worked and it was recommended by Support ?
