With the new version of the app, I have lost the ability to connect my personal music library.  I have my personzl music library on my computer’s hard disk as well as on a drive connected to my computer via USB. How do I get that capability back ?

Trying to install the app. I download the latest Sonos S2 file from Sonos support site.  Add Sonos to my applications Open Sonos app App opens but the screen is black, I get loading spinner forever.  App stays unresponsive, I have to Force Quit On my other Mac, the software update fails and the app is also unresponsive. I have 5x Sonos speakers but I’m losing patience and have not purchased anymore speakers due to various software issues.  Macbook M2 Pro 16” 2023MacOS Ventura 13.6 

It is not a question its like feature request or may be somebody could suggest the workaroundThe problem is I have to change EQ settings at least two times per day. During the day I want to get the best sound experience (set up default EQ settings). At the evening I have to reduce bass to not disturbe my neighbours, even when I watch TV and sounds not so loud. EQ settings is not easy to get. I have to go deep into the app settings to change the EQ settings.It would be cool to have EQ profiles or at least quick access to EQ settings

So the other day I went to play music from my sonos library  where the mudi  is stored on WD myhome NAS drive A I got was an error saying it can't  be found Then tries to update the music library and got a message like Mycloud/public/music is no longer available Then I tried removing the link to the folder Took a few attempts  but eventually  removed Now I can't add it back as a shared folderI have never had an issue with it before I can still access the drive from my laptop  and still able to add music to the folder Any help would be appreciated  

My Sonos arc returns the volume down to 15 every time I try to play louder. What is wrong?

Sonos fam - I’m enjoying the Sonos multi room experience and recently added turntable to the Sonos Amp. Highly recommended!our family is gonna build a new home and I’m eyeing Sonance in ceiling speakers in a Sonos amp. We have a brick fireplace and I don’t wanna post a soundbar on it. Was hoping I could just group the Sonance with some ERA 300’s, then run HDMI from the Amp to the TV.  Can I pair those Era’s as a center channel? i know it won’t be atmos but have prioritized music over home theater. Welcome your input. thx!!

I have the latest version of the Sonos app according to App Store however when I go to voice settings it does not show any option for Weather location?

Just got the new Sonos Ace…. works great, looks good, sounds amazing. Problem is the App shows that Sonos Aces needs an update and every time I attempt this it gets to 100% then fails to update. Fed up with pressing the “Try Again” button. Anyone else experiencing this issue.

Where is wake up? Where is volume scale? Where is timer? This must be the worst update in history. How can I go back to earlier version?

Trying to add an old Play 1. Sonos app. recognizes it, says it requires an update but update doesn’t complete. Loading wheel seems to be progressing, but it should have been completed long ago, 

 I get a message that we are required to register an account and start paying  a subscription. We paid thousands of $ for our Sonos system and I refuse to start paying to listen to our local radio Station.  Am I reading this correctly? 

Since the app update, I’ve been unable to join two rooms on my system to play the same content at the same time. How can I troubleshoot this?

Is this happening to anyone else?I've got an Arc, Play 5, 2x Play 1s, Era 100, Roam.The Play 1 went to 0 while it was playing radio yesterday.I've noticed the at least the Arc and the Era sometimes are at 0 volume when I look at them, noticing the green LED...What is going on? Anyone else?!

Hello,I've got a Sonos Roam SL and I have no WiFi. I want to use it via Bluetooth. However it seems impossible as it forces me to register Roam SL and that requires a network to connect to.How is that possible that I need to have a WiFi in order to start using it!?Is there a workaround?

When on Sonos Wireless charger, my Sonos Roam never charges to 100%. If I turn it off, it always turns itself back on, never at 100% charged, why please?

Trying to resolve a connection issue between Tidal and my Sonos app, I deleted Tidal from my list of music services. When I went to add it again, Tidal was not available in the list of music services in the drop down menu. Neither was Apple Music, which I’d also removed. I tried all the usual methods to resolve the issue; removed and reinstalled relevant apps and ensured all were on the most recent updates. I deleted the Sonos app from all my devices save one. I am able to play directly from Tidal to my Sonos devices, I just can't play directly from Sonos using Tidal Connect.Finally I contacted Sonos via live chat, we both concluded it was weird. They suggested I call the Sonos phone line for help which I did just now but the wait time is lengthy, so I’m hoping for some help here in the community.  Thank you.

I have a sonos beam 2 in the room and I bought a pair of era 100 for it, the problem is that I have the sonos beam 2 connected to the ethernet cable, but I don't know if I should also connect the era 100 by cable, in the room I have a repeater and it only works with 2.4 Ghz as technically it is another router than the one in the room, the sonos beam 2 is the only one I have inside this router, if I connect the 2 era 100 to that 2.4 Ghz network they do not connect through sonosnet so there is no problem with beam 2 being wired at era 100 via 2.4 Ghz wifi? I was considering upgrading to a mesh network from tp link the deco 6e but from what I see the sonos speakers don't work well with mesh networks so I reject the idea, but to tell the truth the reason I connected the beam 2 for ethernet it is that for wifi it took a while to work it would remain silent for a couple of minutes until it finally worked or I had to go up and down the channels so that it stopped being silent, with ethernet c

I am moving into a condo that has built in wired speakers in two rooms. The speakers are several years old, but they work. They are Boston Acoustic In-Wall speakers. The previous owner had two Sonos Connect amps, and connected to their home network via Ethernet.I have two questions - First, what amp or setup would be recommended to power the existing speakers (the speaker cables are easily accessible).Second, I would greatly prefer not to use Ethernet as the condo is no longer wired for it. Is that going to present a problem?Thanks in advance for any advice. 

I can get source of audio to play on the Move 2.I can get source of audio to play on any of the other speakers in the network (and with each other).I can not get the source on the Move 2 to play/sync with the other speakers or vice versa. Been through support for hours, returned the first Move 2 and new Move 2 is doing the same thing. Have rebooted system, reconnected network, etc. Other things that may clarify:I have two Sonos systems/networks -- one for home, one for work. This is my home system.I have Play 3, Sonos One/SL, Sonos Beam, Sonos Sub, Sonos Symfonisk all on this system.

What is the quickest way to change subwoofer settings now? On the prior version of the app, it was easy by clicking on the volume slider bar and bringing up sound options. I can’t find something similar in the new app. Certain songs need bass enhancement and some don’t, having quick access to subwoofer settings was extremely convenient and the future I miss the most on S3.

I have a Move..I waited on the phone the other day for over an hour for sonos help with the new app (have not been able to get anything to play since new app applied) - after another 30 minutes it got down to the guy telling me that Sonos no longer supports MP3 files and that in order for me to get the new app to work so I could hear any music, I had to convert all MP3 files to FLAC format. I don’t see anyone else mentioning this on this site - is this true? This is incredible to me - why oh why oh why would you ever stop supporting all prior music formats...

What is the Bluetooth situation with the Roam 2, does it need WiFi set up first and then Bluetooth is usable thereafter, outside of the home? Or does there need to be a continuous WiFi connection 

Is there a way to renable the volume numbers?  When controlling the sound volume using an iPhone it is sometimes hard to tell if the volume has changed. With the old version of the software a numerical representation of the volume was also displayed. 

Hi,So i had bought two Sonos Roams about one and a half year ago. One I use daily myself, the other one was for my wife and she basically never used it. I bought a portable projector last week and was going to hook up the unused Roam to it. What I thought would be easy turned out be not working at all as the Roam seems to be completely dead. If course it was empty when I got it out of the closet so I charged it a bit, removed the charger and tried to turn it on. Didn’t work and when I plugged the charger back in I noticed the static orange light wouldn’t come on at all anymore. I tried the factory/hard reset but nothing.What else can I try or do I have to write it off? Does the Sonos support do exchanges for these kind of cases after warranty ends? Thanks forum.

Hello, Since the past few weeks, my Sonos roam would randomly disconnect from the app , running on android tablet and smartphone. Sonos roam is still connected to internet, since music keeps being played, I can still use voice command Google assistant and I can pause or adjust volume from third party app Google home. However I can't control Sonos roam from Sonos app and the app says that Sonos roam isn't connected .
