Just a followup question.  Can I just take my existing router and relocate it to my new address?  It's Google Fiber and there is  existing Google Fiber service with an active router there.

Hi @Goodoldave , another suggestion, if you can get into the configuration page/s of the new router, is to set the SSID and password to the same values as on your current system. 

Then, when you connect your speakers etc to the new router they'll think they never left home. 

No guarantees, particularly if your new system is a mesh,  but worth a try.

It’s a good point, as the Sonos devices would connect to a network SSID, and not a specific device. I wonder why it isn’t in the FAQ, as it ultimately should be the easiest to ‘set up’.
