Hello, I bought Sonos Era 100 to connect it to my MacBook Pro via a Sonos adapter and connected it with a 3.5 mm jack. I have tried several times with other cables and in other settings but the result is always the same, as soon as I plug in the cable the sonos makes an annoying noise (buzzing). If I click PLAY and start the song, the song can be heard but always with the annoying buzzing noise. I sent the SONOS back and it was replaced under warranty.I have tried again with the new SONOS ERA 100 but the problem remains. Where am I going wrong? Is it possible that it is so difficult to get it to work? Thanks for your help, Best A.

I almost exclusively use Spotify with/through Sonos.  Up until the latest Sonos update just over a week ago, I was able to start playing a playlist or song from Spotify through Sonos, then open up the Sonos menu and click “Start Radio.”  That would instantiate a Spotify radio station based on the song that was playing, which I then added to my Sonos favorites.  I also created several home automation routines through my HA Hub (Hubitat) so that I could kickoff any of those radio stations with voice commands to Alexa/Echo.  That was all working perfectly until the last Sonos update (v 80.07.03).  The Hubitat Sonos integration supports playing a Sonos favorite.Since the last Sonos update, I noticed my home automation voice commands weren’t working.  So, I then started using the Sonos app and found that playing Spotify Radio Stations has completely broken.  Whenever I attempt to play one of the aforementioned Sonos Favorites (Spotify radio stations), Sonos switches to the “Play” icon, noth

“Accept” terms and conditions button won’t turn black. It is always grey so cannot work. This seems to have been a problem for over five years now with no fix. Just waiting an hour to hear back from customer support, who pointed me at a four-year-old thread to remove Sonos one and Sonos two apps, reboot your phone and start a fresh. Have repeated this a dozen times with no success. Next bit of advice from Sonos was to get an android phone instead of an iPhone. Customer support told me that my two-year-old iPhone on the latest iOS was “old”, and I should get an android to be able to use Sonos. How can this problem have been going on for five years with no fix, and no fix in sight? I have a fortune invested in Sonos one and have started investing in Sonos two which is now unavailable to me.

Hello Sonos Comunity,I really struggle to change the room / speaker that my music plays through. It looks so simple in the App - just select the room and Apply.  But it simply doesn’t work.  I get a message saying unable to connect and asking me to try again!  The speakers are definitely connected and will sometime still play the music that I’d played on them last rather than the music I want to play now. any ideas?  What am I doing wrong? thank you

So I have 2 beams gen 2s now I can’t see them on the application at all they link to the WiFi and work fine but I just don’t see them in the application to control the volume I can use the remotes but still would like to know why they aren’t showing up on the app any help would be great thanks 

It would be important to be able to customize the 'group audio delay' in ms, in order to optimize it.

HiMy SONOS app is on the home screen but when I hit the app it doesn’t respond.  Just a quick flash and back to home screen.Sonos app works fine on my MacBook and my wife's iphone app is fine too.Any advice would be appreciated? Thanks 

The Lofi Focus station on Sonos Radio HD stopped playing last week. I click on it to play and nothing. I tried using Sonos Voice too and the same result. All the other stations work. I reauthorized Sonos Radio HD and nothing changed. 

Our current tv is a 82 inch Sony OLED  and within a few years it  will grow to approx 100 inch and not necessarily a Sony.Our current sonos  eArc sound bar plus a sub, which obviously does not give much left/right separation relative to the screen width. It will be even  more inadequate when ever the 100inch arrives, maybe in two 2 years time. We are prepared to spend a few $k to upgrade the existing TV to add 2x rear speakers and 2x  additional front side speakers, is this technically feasible? Could this arrangement work with larger TV. The goal is to improve immersive  quality now (with rear speakers and improved stereo front separation)  and  so have the audio setup established for when the larger TV arrives. We are also prepared to scrap  Sonos (ekk)  and start from scratch when the larger TV arrives, but are hoping there is a reasonable Sonos solution that will bridge both TVs. You could consider this is a home theatre setup as the room is dedicated to chilling and  the tv, it is

Ok noob question alert. Is ZP120 like ZP90 plus amp? Reason for asking is in the used marketplace a ZP120 is not much more than a ZP90. For now I do not need to connect to external passive speakers because I have 2 Sonos 5 Gen 1s. So can I use a ZP120 to wirelessly connect both my Sonos 5 Gen 1s and play music with S1 on my iPad? 

Hi, I own several Sonos products. Playbar + Sub, 3 x Play3 and 1 x Play1. Issues have occurred after I have changed router (attempting to migrate from old network to new)Some devices have moved over onto new wireless network without any issues, Playbar + Sub, 1 x Play3 and 1 x Play1 are working fine.2 x Play3 are not working correctly, They are both seen under the “Rooms” list with the correct names, but both say “needs update” and have a “spanner” icon next to them.If I click on the device (on iPhone App / Sonos S1) it tried to go through the update process on both devices but both fail giving error code 1013. I have tried all the suggested steps but I now appear to be stuck in the doom loop.Anyone experienced this or got a possible resolution?Many thanks :)

I gather Play 3s have power issues sometimes and I may have joined the club if anyone can help. My Play 3 stopped playing and the led went out. No noise, nothing, it just stopped. When I switched it off and on again I got the led to go white but then it went out and nothing else. Ive tried holding down the mute button when switching on and the same thing happens - a brief white light (not flashing) and then nothing. Can anyone explain what the issue is or whether the speaker is dead? I find it strange that I get a light for about 3 seconds though if the power has failed completely.

Whats the best way to connect a computer with wi-fi card, analog stereo equipment and smart tv.  I’m considering Sonos amp or port but not sure what kind of speakers would work for all the various sources.

I’ve just discovered that my entire music library has disappeared from the Sonos apps downloaded on all my devices! I see that other users have the same problem and that it was meant to be fixed by august if not earlier and it’s now September! When is this going to get sorted? 

I’m hoping to get some help as I’ve exhausted my efforts in trying to resolve this.  I bought a new Sonos Beam Gen2 in July 2024.  I got it installed and setup but I cannot run TruePlay without getting an error.  When i run trueplay tuning  it gets to the part where it plays the tones and then says something went wrong. We were unable to custom tune etc.I have tried to run it on my iPhone 15 which is on the same 2.4 wifi network as the Beam.I have also factory reset the entire system.I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded it And checked system update in the app and on the Beam and both are current.Note:  I’ve got Verizon 5G Home Internet if that matters.I know there have been a lot of issues with the new Sonos app.  Perhaps that’s the culprit?  I really don’t know.  I’ve tried everything I can think of but am totally stuck at this point.  Hoping someone can help me get this working.

In the Sonos app there is a settingAccount → Data & Privacy → Additional Data UsageOn that settings page there is a switch labeled “Usage Data Sharing”I want to opt out and disable (o--) this, but I cannot.It always automatically switches back to “enabled”  (--o).Being more verbose: I switch if off, leave the settings page (as there is no save or apply), go to the same settings again and what i switched off before is now back enabled.Very funny Sonos! Anyone else see this? P.S.: It is not possible to control this setting on the web either (btw: WHY Sonos, why cant I disable it globally for my account?!), instead the Web configuration page states it should be changed in the app (per device).

Through my Sonos system, Pandora now gets commercials on Sonos but my subscription is for Pandora Plus which I used to get through Sonos - and I no longer get access to my Sirius subscription. Any ideas on what I should do?

I have a Sonos ARC a Sonos Sub and 3 Sonos Amps. AMP 1 - Connected to my Bose rear channel speakers for surround (didn't want to rewire)AMP 2 - Connected to BOSE 251 in my backyardAMP 3 - Connected to BOSE Freespace speakers by my poolall 3 of these sources work great individually or together.so here’s my question - I just bought a MOVE 2 so I could have the flexibility to move sound around. I see it on my system In the SONOS app, but I can't play the same music. Did I do something wrong? or is this not possible? if not possible, why? and what can I replace the MOVE with to make it work?ThanksAnthony D   

helloI have a question, I have two Sonos one gen 2 speakers, a TV with 3 HDMI inputs and an Xbox Series S, Apple TV and a TV decoder.I would like to connect them together and my question is if I buy a Beam gen 1 or gen 2 soundbar and an HDMI extender for the TV, will it be ok, or are there any dedicated amplifiers that connect to my Sonos one speakers wirelessly and also have 4-5 HDMI inputs on the back to connect preferred devices (Xbox, Apple TV, etc.)thanks

Have Sonos rectified the errors created by their last update that destroyed my ability to play music kept on my iMac using the Sonos system?

This is a basic setup question. Looking to use a Beam Gen 2 as the sound bar for my TV. I have in-ceiling speakers that will be powered by a Connect Amp (compatible with Gen 2) and it's main purpose is background music. Is it possible to group the 2 devices together and use the TV sound as the source for both devices (if I want to listen to the big game on all devices)? It looked like the only input sources (when grouping devices) were online services (e.g., Pandora, etc.), but I may have been missing something.
