My Sonos Arc Ultra is connected to my LG OLED G3 via eARC.
I also have an Apple TV connected to the TV, and I can control the soundbar's volume from it.
However, when I power off the Apple TV, the TV shuts down, but the soundbar does not.
Previously, when I had an AV amplifier connected via eARC to the TV, I could power on/off all devices using the Apple TV.
Is there a way to achieve the same with the soundbar setup?

Sonos devices are meant to stay powered on. They automatically go into a low power state after a period of no content (as does every other modern appliance, i.e. your TV is not truly “Off” when it turns off). Actually powering Sonos devices off when not in use would require them to fully reboot on turning on, a process which takes a while and doesn’t lend itself to quick access to music and/or TV content.
