Hello - I am trying to control a group volume from one amp. My setup is below:I have 4x Sonance 8” ceiling speakers wired in to an Amp (Amp A) in a media rack upstairs. I have this Amp, the ceiling speakers and Sonos Sub 4 in a room called “Kitchen”.I have a Sonos Move in a room called “Portable”.I have Pro-Ject Turnrable connected to a second Amp (Amp B) in a room called “Media Wall”.I have these three rooms grouped into a group called “Home”.Everything is working well and volume control as a group works well from the app.I would like to be able to control the volume of the group “Home” with the touch controls on Amp B. Is this possible?  Thanks!

Can’t get my Sonos app / Ultra Arc to see my Sonos wireless headphones (WH1000XM5). Looking for advice.

Can someone please recommend a third party universal remote that will work with the ray soundbar. I've tried all the tricks and tips suggested but still can't get my Samsung remote to pair.

My two rear Sonos one SL surround speakers are connected but have no audio. The pause button works and will pause the ARC soundbar but still no audio from the surrounds. I have tried EVERYTHING please help. TV and cable box both set to Dolby Digital and TV surrounds are turned all the way up in sonos app and still no audio from surrounds.

I have a AMP with 2 speakers attached. The overall sound is not good for me as the equalizer is too poor. To have an acceptable sound i push the 2 levels at max … For such an expensive device it is a bit disapointing. To overcome this issue I would like to have an active equalizer between source and the Sonos AMP.I have found 2 options and your feedback would be greatly appreciated before shopping:Option 1 (expensive): i buy a Sonos Port and a EQ901 Equalizer from Deer Creek Audio. Setup would be:Sonos Port out → EQ901 → in Sonos AMP → speakers. I would manage music from the Port and the active equalizer from EQ901.Option 2: I buy an Bluesound Node Nano and the setup would be:Bluesound Node Nano → in Sonos AMP → speakers. I would manage music from my iphone via Airplay 2 (AM in lossless most of my usage way) and use the equalizer from the Bluesound.Makes sense ? Thank you in advance.

I got a new Sonos Roam 2 and it told me that I need to upgrade to the S2 Controller.  It noted that I had an Amp that was not compatible and guided me to remove it from my system - which I did.  Now when I go to my S2 controller, it says that the System is only Compatible with the S1 Controller, but when I go to the S1 Controller System>System Tools it shows “System Compatibility” greyed out and it just guides me to upgrade to the S2 controller.  I am not fully going in circles. help!

Can I play Ace and Arc simultaneously? If not, why not?

I have a brand new in box One speaker that I purchased about 6 years ago.  I bought a bunch of them anticipating expanding at home and the office where I have it set up.  I'm trying to set up this new speaker at home, i have no sonos products at home. I have sonos set up at the office This new speaker fails at the update stage of setup every time,  regardless of wifi or wired.  I get error 30 on wifi and 1014 with Ethernet.   Any help would be appreciated.   I'm using android with what I think is the s1 app ( doesn't actually say on the icon like it used to, but the icon is black) .

What am I doing wrong? Sonos used to work for me, but in recent history, anytime I attempt to use it, something goes wrong. It will play random things and not what I put on, it will freeze, not respond and generally be unusable. Is this the new normal?

Why is the app so slow

as the title clearly indicates upon the successful addition of the Sonos boost to my home theater set up, it is not shown  as a device with options under system settings. it’s all shown here in this iCloud photo link. The first image is upon the successful addition and the second photo is upon the closing of the window that says that the boost will be displayed in settings.https://share.icloud.com/photos/0b4ORyJYCPum9Xq3ylOlQud8Qit is very important to me that I am able to display and change the settings for the boost so that I know that it is functioning correctly and that I am able to use it correctly. — Although all indications suggest it is working, I have evidence that it is not because all devices are still connected to the wireless network and not the Sonos network. But I am not 100% That it would not be connected to my wireless network.please help and if it was never a device fully integrated into the second version of this application; Sonos please add it completely

Player, Amp, Sub and Play 1s.   it seems like nothing works together.   I need multiple apps?   90% of the time I want the speakers to play what is on TV.  It once worked perfectly but now i need multiple apps, additional hardware purchases, etc… how do I get help before I throw this crap in the garbage?

I can't find the 5 digit pin on my zoneplayer s5 speaker. Can someone direct me where to find it?

I have 3 era 300’s which stopped working 60 days ago.   I have factory reset them hundreds of times , tried to delete the system , create a new account , etc , etc .    Why is this so hard ?  Why does sonos sort of manage my system ?    I should be able to delete speakers , accounts , etc from the web and app.    I feel like big brother will not let these speakers roll onto a new system.    I hate sonos ….bigtime

I recently purchased a pair of Sonos Era 300’s to use as my surround sound. I had been using Sonos Ones as my surround sound. I reset the Sonos Ones to factory setup and sold them. My app keeps showing the Sonos Ones as Not Connected. How do I remove them entirely from my app/account? In trying to research this, I came across a post that said to select “Forget Current System”, but will this remove all my speakers from my app/account? If it will, can someone please tell me how to just remove the Sonos One’s? Thanks

Just got a rays sound bar and plugged it in ran through normal setup with no issues. App said it needed an update and ran the update. Now the speaker is acting like it has no power. I’ve attempted factory reset different outlets etc and no lights will turn on the sound bar. Anyone had this issue? We have several Sonos products and have never had one turn to a brick with an update

Where on Sonos 2 do I press the button when the app says ”Make sure the light on your Move 2 is flashing white and green, then press the buttons on it to continue.” Another user asked this same question months ago, but there was no clear answer - only a link to User Guides I had already reviewed.   WHERE is the button?

On IPhone, the Sonos app connects and plays its own built in stations just fine.   The other apps on the phone such as Music, Safari, do not connect.   Confirmed both are on the same network, and that the speakers are selected.  I rebooted the router, too.

I am trying to add move 2 into my existing sonos network.I have move 2 on the chargerI open the sonos app (ios)Wait for it to identify the speaker and nothing happensI then try Add speaker and app does not see my fully charged move 2HELP HELP this process is so aggregating

should I quick tune my 2 sonos era 100s before I add them as surrounds to my beam? I do not have any apple products to use true play

Hi. I’ve decided to create my new home theatre with Beam 2, 2 Sonos 100s and Sub mini. My audio and video sources is AppleTv 4k and I use FHD projector. So obviously my Beam is on on side of the room where the projector is casting the image and the projector is on the outset side (circa 7 m / 22 ft away). Im to make it all work I read and watched few suggestions that I must use an HDMI matrix/splitter as my projector won’t allow me to use eARC. So I bought devices like EZCoo Model：EZ-SP22H2EARCO or its brother EZ-SW21H21A-EO. The challenge I see is while I connect it all together to test with short (eg 2-3 meter HDMI like the white one from Sonos box) it does play Dolby Atmos movies and music from AppleTv. When I then connect it all as it should be with a long HDMI cable (15 m/50 ft) across the room it doesn’t recognize the signal (I guess as eARC) and plays only Dolby Digital or Multichannel PCM. So I know that now with new iOS 18.x you can Airplay 2 with Dolby Atmos too. nie I wonder

Hi,every time I turn on the TV the volume on the Arc Ultra starts at 10. I have tried lowering it from the app before turning on the TV, but it always starts at volume 10. Sometimes at night it is a bit loud and I wanted to know if there is a possibility to "remember" the previous volume or set it to a lower volume by default when the TV is turned on.

I’ve been looking on here for months now, and I still see no sight or sound of a resolution to two essential problem with this new? (7 months old!) app. First, all my compilation albums appear as single tracks; second, I can no longer queue anything as the function has disappeared. Usual comments about significant investment building a system over some years. Are there any answers to these two fundamental problems? I have tried all the suggested solutions using advanced settings and still no joy. Will someone from Sonos reply, or is it left to some other poor user who has had to struggle through the problems caused by this app upgrade?

m having an issue with the Sonos app where I’m not able to control the volume for certain speakers. The volume slide control is just blank for some speakers.

I just returned a pair of era 100s to costco. I bought them in December 2024 and was unable to pair them. They showed up in the app as Optimo1’s. yep. The box said Era 100, and the label on the bottom. The build quality seemed inferior to my Ones. Have no idea why they would only show as “Optimo 1” In the app, other than guessing that they were originally built as Optimo and then re-labeled for sale as Era100? Was super disappointed, and, glad the return was so easy. And I'm going to stay very happy with Ones. Anyone else experienced this?
