Hi, recently the Google assistant volume on my Sonos One has become unlinked to the volume control of the speaker and is now currently too loud. I know for certain this is a new issue as this is my bedroom Speaker and it all of a sudden is deafening, and the volume of the voice does not change whether the speaker volume is 1 or 100. Can you please advise? 

I know that Sonos does not sell replacement parts… but does anyone know what the specific HDMI port is on the Sonos Beam?!?  I don’t want to buy another Beam just because the hdmi port isn’t working… that seems extremely dumb… I’m happy to open it up and try to replace the port, but I just don’t know what the specs are for the port!  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I’d pretty much given up on making the Sonos desktop app work with my mac as it simply couldn’t find my music folder. I’d found the solution recently and thought all was well until I tried to play some music through it - it seems that only some folders within my actual itunes library have been added and i’ve no idea why. My ‘music’ folder is in the ‘folders’ section but that’s a lot of other random stuff but my actual itunes library only has about 7 artists (out of loads!) that I can select from any ideas why? UPDATE - it seems that it’s not added my itunes folder full stop. When i try to add the itunes music library that’s located in my main music folder it says i don’t have permission - yet when i tried to add my music folder (that contains my itunes stuff as well a bunch of other random music things) it lets me, minus that actual music from the itunes any ideas about it??

I have created a Sonos Play list from tracks in Deezer and other sources.  The Playlist is set to the order i enter the tracks.  How do I change the order in the play list.I have tried to do this whilst a track is playing.  Sonos accepts the change but will no make the change permanent.  I have gone through the /end save.Can anyone tell me how to make permanent change to the Sonos Play List. Please!  

For months now playing music on my Sonos system has cut out after awhile and I have to manually play the music again. Reading a review in Wired today I believe this is because instead of playing downloaded music from my iPhone Sonos now plays that music via their soundcloud - this is a huge backwards step. I’m now questioning whether I continue with Sonos or move to another platform.  Does anyone have an alternative viewpoint?  

I have an Ikea Symfonisk and I just got an Amazon Echo dot (5th gen, 2024). So far I have been able to add most of my intelligent devices but the Symfonisk is not found.I have the Sonos Skill (which has a very low rating for some reason). I have disabled and enabled many times, rebooting both the echo and the Symfonisk between attempts. What else can I do?  The symphonisk works great over airplay with apple devices but Alexa just cannot find it. Something I noticed is, on the instructions, the Sonos Skill refers me to open the Sonos S1 app, but I have the newest version (S2). Could it be that this model is no longer compatible with Alexa?  

Has anyone encountered this before and does anyone have a fix?I must add that we are trying to connect via the network. We have tried all the online fixes and still it is not working. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. 

Does an eArc output on my TV work with a Beam Gen 1?

My Play 1 in my bedroom has stopped working and won't connect to my network or Play 3 downstairs. Also to get it to work my Play 3 is now dependent on an ether connection

Hello, I’m reaching out to seek help regarding an audio issue I’ve been experiencing with my home theater setup. Here’s a summary of my configuration:• An Apple TV 4K (latest generation) connected via HDMI to a ViewSonic LX 700-4K projector,• The projector is connected via its HDMI eARC port to a Sonos Beam Gen 2,• The Beam is paired with two Sonos One speakers for surround sound. The problem occurs only at the start of playback. The first audio output from the Beam is distorted or stuttering. I’ve noticed that changing the video format on the Apple TV (e.g., modifying the color settings) temporarily resolves the issue until the next restart. Another workaround I’ve tried is unplugging and reconnecting the HDMI cable from the projector, which also temporarily fixes the issue. I’ve already replaced the HDMI cables with ultra-high-speed, latest-generation ones, but the problem persists. I’ve also tested various settings between the Apple TV and the Sonos app, but nothing provides a perma

Can I pair one Ace to bluetooth Sonos…eg Arc or Move and pair another Ace to Ipad.playing music on Ipad that is also bluetooth connected to Move…then we got two Ace listening to ipad music?

I plan to use Arc Ultra with Sonance Architectural in wall speakers for rears (connected to a Sonos Amp). Do the Arc and Amp have to be hardwired, or will it run wirelessly (including Dobly ATMOS)?If I have to hardwire, can I hardwire to a switch that is connected to a Google Wifi access point (that is hardwired to a router).  

I don’t need to repeat the problems around the app. Suffice to say that the app updates have rendered the usefulness of my Sonos equipment down to less than zero. I don’t ever know if it’s going to work or not these days. Imagine planning a Christmas party under those conditions!I’ve seen various threads here talking about legal action and and class action, etc. Has anything come of them? I can’t see any obvious outcomes.If not - I’m considering taking them to the Small Claims Court in the UK just to get my money back on the equipment. I’m absolutely fed up with it. Has anyone succeeded? The process in the UK is pretty simple and I’ve been successful in the past.I understand Sonos can do pretty what they want with their app, but if that results in damage or the - effective - bricking of equipment that’s within its reasonable lifespan, then that is on them.Cheers

Tried to play Dutch radio stations today but all seems to have changed to US stations, ads and all. Anyone else in Netherlands experiencing this? Tried to look for Sublime FM and Sky Radio. 

I have a beam, two era 100’s and a sub mini in one physical room.I have a Sonos ‘room’ designated TV and another ‘room’ designated Music.The beam+sub are currently in the TV room (group) and currently the stereo pair are in the Music room.  I have to remove the sub from TV and add to Music when I want the stereo pair and sub playing together. The stereo pair is in front of me. And I do not use them as surrounds so they’re not located behind me.For music listening, I obviously want the stereo pair and sub, and for Tv I want the beam and sub.I currently have to move the sub when I swap between listening to music and watching TV. Ideally the sub could be in its own Sonos ‘room’ then be added in the app quickly to either TV or Music…but this isn’t possible as far as I know Any thoughts? Thank You 

My Sonos Play:1 is connected to my system of Sonos speakers including Beam. While it’s able to control the music (pause, play, volume) but is not broadcasting any sound. Would appreciate some help.

I have the following, 4X Era 100 Beam ,Gen 2, and a sub gen 5running of an LG OLED TV. is there a way I can get 5.1 from this?

System - 1 Amp connected to a pair of Emotiva ERT 8.3’s, 2 Ports, one connected to a Denon 4311ci (13.2) via Coax and the second connected via coax to a Musical Fidelity V90-DAC, connected via Analog RCA to a HK3490.I was an early adopter of the Amp and Port when they launched, and despite some issues with my Unifi AP’s, I had them working prior to the update by wiring one to Ethernet and leaving the rest connected via Wifi.Like everyone else, the big updated forced me to reset all the devices and re-create my network and this is when I noticed that no matter what I did, I can’t get my AMP to play music.  It shows on the app that it’s playing, but no sound...however it will control the rest of the group playing music on the Ports from the touch controls just fine.Apparently, one of the recent firmware updates killed the wired ethernet ports on the back of BOTH ports, they don’t even light up on the back anymore (neither ethernet port lights NOR the setup button light on the back - but

I have a generation 1 Sonos system and really don’t want to upgrade. However, I am experiencing issues 0laying from my turntable through the Sonos connect - agree a couple of minutes it cuts out. Have tried everything recommended  and have decided the connect probably has a fault and I need to replace. Obviously not made now but can anyone suggest a place to buy a replacement which is in working order and ideally with some form of guarantee? Plenty on eBay but generally private sellers.

I have a Beam Gen 2, Sub Mini, and two Era 100s as a surround sound system. Unfortunately, the Era 100s are not working properly, and the sound is too quiet even at maximum volume. They are not noticeable at all. I am quite disappointed. The Era 100 sound is strong, but not as surround sound. I am unsure how to fix that, or if the Sonos team can fix the issue. From my perspective, the Era 100 sound is fantastic and more than enough for surrounds if they perform properly when assigned to the room.
