Sonos iPhone app connects and plays, but nothing else does

On IPhone, the Sonos app connects and plays its own built in stations just fine.   The other apps on the phone such as Music, Safari, do not connect.  
 

Confirmed both are on the same network, and that the speakers are selected.  I rebooted the router, too.

Are you selecting the Sonos speakers using AirPlay for Music and something on Safari?  Are you saying when you try to use AirPlay there are no Sonos speakers listed?
