I’ve seen a previous post about this from a year ago but no resolution. I have just noticed that when I add the Billie Eilish album “Happier than ever” to my Sonos queue the tracks that are marked as “Explicit” will not play.  They appear in the playlist but are skipped over and cannot be selected directly. I have tried:Checking the setting in the Spotify account:  “Allow playback of explicit rated content” is enabled.Checking the setting in the Sonos Android app (the new one).  “Filter Explicit Content” is disabledSwapping to a different Spotify account:  No differenceRe-authorizing the Spotify account:  No changeDeleting and then re-connecting the Spotify account:  No change. If I play the album in the Spotify App then the Explicit tracks play as I would expect.If I start playing in the Spotify App and then connect to Sonos via the “Connect to a device” option in the Spotify App then the Explicit tracks play as I would expect. These tracks used to play, as recently as a couple of wee

Is it possible to cast/play music to my S1 speakers using my streaming service app? If not, then is my only option using the S1 app?When I use the S1 app and try to access my streaming service (currently Amazon Music), and I use the “search” function, it doesn’t return the same results as in the Amazon Music app (sometimes it misses a few results).Is this maybe a problem with how Sonos S1 and Amazon Music work together or does anyone know a better way of using the S1 app?Thanks!

I’ve been using a single Play 3 and two One SL as two separate groups in the same room to create a 2.1 surround sound. Adjusting the volume balance manually is a pain.Is there a way to put all three speakers in a group together? ...and if not, why not?

Evening all. I should be seeing this but I’ve gone Sonos blind :-)We have a home office that we’ve added a kids gaming environment to. There is a Port in there that currently feeds a large old Pioneer AVR to an outside surround system. It’s used in the Summer a bit but the rest of the year just sits there in really. I’m wondering if I can switch the Port O/P to either a) the Pioneer and/or b) a small Sony 5.1 system in the Office? But I cannot quite get my head round it. I guess some form of RCA switch?The 5.1 is used with an optical feed from a PS4 and an Xbox and works fine. I don’t need the 5.1 for the Sonos, just a vehicle to output music and audio books etc.Would appreciate any clarity or explanations what would work please. I’m just not quite piecing it together …. age I think ! :-) Many thanks in advance

I have been using my ARC and Sub connected by wire and 2 Play 1’s as wireless surrounds for a while.  recently (the last 2 weeks or so), the sound cuts in and out on the Play’1s.  I have tried removing the Play 1’s as a surround and adding them back as well as resetting my modem.  They will play for a while using Spotify, then start cutting out after a while.  (Intermittent).  This does not seem to occur on just Spotify though.  The subs do this no matter the distance I set them nor the “Group Audio Delay” I set.  Volume limit is off.  Night music is off, but Spatial Music is toggled on.  Am I missing a troubleshooting option here?

Need community help:I have a TV that I am running to a Sonos Amp x 3 that is each powering 2 8” ceiling speakers.  What is the best way to do this? A splitter for the HDMI so that each Amp gets the same signal?  Appreciate any advice or direction to where this might have been already answered!

We have changed router and have a new WiFi password. The Sonos app on Windows 11 won’t connect. The only Support guidance is for iOS or Android. So we downloaded the Android app and that can’t find the system either. Is there an easier way to do this ?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I can’t find an answer to the problem I have and following others solutions. I have a Technic 1200 mk2 and I have this connected via a preamp into a Sonos Connect:Amp, never had an issue, now I can’t use the Connect:Amp as its deemed to old, so I have bought a new cable to go into the back of my Sonos 5, all fine apart from the noticeable distorted hum in the background, I have moved the speakers more than two feet away as others have said but still there.Any help much appreciated :) 

I have a arc gen1 soundbar and trying to connect a sub also gen1, I have tried everything I can think of to connect wireless and hard connection, I even spent 2 hours on live chat with expert and still same message sub not found.please can anyone help me or advise me  many thanksjo 

I have Sonos systems in two homes.  At our primary home, our iTunes library (contained in a Mac Mini) is captured on the Sonos system.  As the Mac is located at the primary home, the iTunes library is not available on the secondary home system.  I’m planning on transferring the iTunes library (<4TB) to a portable NAS device and am looking on feedback on recommended devices and success/failure in transferring the library to the device and adding the music library to the Sonos system at the secondary home

Good morning How can I connect the Project T1 turntable (without a preamp) to a pair of Sonos Era 300s and enjoy the music in stereo?I currently have a Sonos Era 300 connected in line. Is it possible to connect another Sonos Era 300 in line ? Do I need to buy a device like a sonos port or sonos amp ? Let me knowThanks

The status light on my Sonos port stays green since the last update from SonosIn settings/ hardware it is turned off.Any ideas.. 

Since the new version of the app I am unable to access my Sonos system as when I ask to join an existing system the accept T&S’s button is grayed out and does nothing when I tap it. This is the same on both my Android tablet and my iPhone. Both tablet and iPhone software is up to date.Come on Sonos team there have been too many issues in the recent past from the Alexa issues with the Era 100 to this!!Can somebody please help me reconnect to my Sonos System This is just sooo frustrating!! Thank you

When I try to swipe the next page down 99% of the time the whole app will swipe down instead of the menu. Do I have fat fingers or is the pin strip you need to hit positioned wrong” 

HelloApologies if this is a dumb question. I have an Amp wired directly to 2x Paradigm bookshelf speakers and a separate Sub (gen 3) for music playback. I just bought and added an Era 300 wanting it to play the same streaming, but in my kitchen/ dining area. However, when I stream music through my current set up, nothing comes through the Era. What am I doing wrong?For clarity, the Era is on (I think) and it has connected to my system (set up, ran Trueplay) but shows as separate in the app. Many thanks!Max

Hi there,When I came back from holiday, my sonos play 5 gen 2 was on with a very faint white light. When I tried to play music or connect to my other speaker it was impossible. I unplugged the speaker and it hasn't turned on since. I can't see the control light. What should I do? Thanks. 

My ARC is not connecting with TV via HDMI cable

I have recently purchased a Sub Mini in order to connect it to my two Play:1 speakers.Initially it would not even connect to the speakers.After about a day of trying, it eventually connected to the room and the speakers. However there was no sound.The sub was dead.After endless resetting etc it suddenly gave me sound. I got about twenty minutes out of it. The next time I turned the computer on it was dead again, and has been ever since.After extensive research all I can find is the usual “it’s not Sonos, it’s your router” diagnoses/excuses.Well, if my router is as bad as so many seem to suggest it is, how is that it has been running my other Sonos Sub perfectly for over five years without one single problem? How is that Sonos still plays my music perfectly too? How is it that my internet reception/speed is perfect too? Hi, anyone else having this problem? Seems to be reoccurring and the answer has been to power cycle (done 2x) and system outage (there isn’t one). I have a new Sonos AMP purchased June 2024, when I change the volume limit (50% for instance) it resets to 100% after a few seconds (you can actually watch the slider just move back up). I typically stream from an iPhone using Spotify, so to test I am playing Sonos radio with no other devices. Same issue. In fact you can slide limit to 10% and it doesn’t change the volume output already coming out of the device that is higher than that level. Cycled the amp, same issue.  This is important as the Amp blew out my last set of house speakers when my spouse accidentally connected her phone with the volume too high. I’d like this set to last a bit longer. All advice welcome!

Hi, whenever I request that Alexa play song through my Sonos system, it will play through the 2 One SL‘s set up as a speaker pair, but not through the sub. They are all paired as a system through the Sonos app. If I Airplay or use the Sonos app it works as intended but only when I request through Alexa does the sub not play. The 2 One SL’s play as the stereo pair but nothing comes from the sub. What could it be??

I was so excited to see the recent update and installed it immediately. Everything worked better than ever and for the first time I  used the Sonos voice control. It was glorious and impressed all my friends. Then just as suddenly as it came, it went and now nothing works. Or worse, everything will turn on for a minute or two and then turn off by itself never to be resuscitated. My house is filled with these speakers, I have 4 of the IKEA ones, 1 portable, a beam & a sol one. It’s my dream system, but it doesn’t work 🫤.Please advise.
