Hi, if space is tight can  the sub mini be placed behind a TV table? Table is about 3t  from corner alcove walls

You will never know if you do not try it. Give it a try and remember to Trueplay after you move the Sub. If its not satisfactory, you may need to place it elsewhere, but you will have to experiment with placement in the room.

Every home is different and compromises may have to be made, in certain circumstances, to achieve an acceptable sound. What may work for my home may not work for yours.

Thanks, got a couple of others places to try

Sub placement is pretty flexible. I have one on a bookshelf shelf that is behind a desk in a corner of the room, sounds pretty good.

Another is flat against the wall just ahead of my toes at my computer workstation, sounds really good.

Moving a SUB a few inches can have a major effect on the results.

Thanks guys. Was looking at placing next the sofa but might just  do the ‘sub crawl’ as that seems to be the most accepted way of pinpointing the best place.

Grab an extension cord so you don’t have to plug/unplug and it makes trying new spots more fun.

Always trust your ears, advice is good but in the end the goal is “sounds good” unless you are an audiophile then it is style over sound.
