My wife and friends ask me if I am crazy. I just bought additional Sonos speakers.   Guys let us face reality. You had over seven months to improve the apps and the S2 system. It is still very slow, unstable and unreliable.   examples. volume controls not respondingcannot select all speakerstime to access the app and the music is unacceptablepossible solutions assuming a roll back is totally out of the question please redesign the backend and app from scratch separately (there are also major UX flaws that are so painful I did not mention) hope for the best and you do not go bust in the coming year or two  cheers   . 

I’ve got a Roam and a play 3. They group and work perfectly unless I add Alexa to the Roam. That stops them being able to be grouped. Removing Alexa means they can group again. Is this a thing anyone else has happen? Is there a solution so I can use Alexa? Thanks. ☺️

I have in my Sonos system 1 Sonos Roam, 3 Sonos Play 1, 2 Sonos One Black e 1 Sonos One white. I'm having a problem updating my Sonos One Black (error30). I tried contact by chat and we tried everything (ethernet cable, turning off the router, etc..). We did a factory reset and now I can't add them in my system. It's a firmware problem. I'm from Brazil and I can't complete this call Anyone else having this problem? 

I have a Sonos Arc hooked up to my TV, when I'm playing music and turn the TV on it keeps playing music. The company who installed it used an optical to connect the two and the HDMI for a distributed video system. Is there a way to fix this without having to switch from Optical to HDMI?Thanks for the help.

Hi everyone,I have the Sonos amp and 4 Sonos ceiling speakers in our kitchen. The same amp also runs the Sonos sound bar and 2 One SL speakers in the living room.Every so often when I play playlists through the amp from my Amazon Music the songs stop suddenly after the first 15/20 seconds and move on to another song. At first I thought it was a preview of each song that I needed to turn off in the settings but then I realized that isn't the case. Is extremely frustrating having spent so much money on what you would assume is a quality system for it to be intermittent and ultimately so frustrating I turn it off.Another issue I have is sometimes my two one SL speakers cut out so I lose surround sound half way through a film and then they suddenly start working again off why I opened the app to see what's wrong.Just for context everything is quite close to each other and I have really good full fibre internet speeds and a good WiFi service within the house. Hello teams,I’m wondering to buy 2 ERA 100 for my home.I actually have a Yamaha YAS-207 soundbar (with a Yamaha Subwoofer) connected to my Samsung Smart TV via optical cable.The TV have a wifi connection to my internet box.My questions are: Is it possible to add the 2 Era 100 to this installation in order to simulate a 5.1 Home cinema ?If not (in this case I will sell my yamaha soundbar) , can I use the 2 ERA on my TV in Wi-FI ? In a house with 5 amps, one zone plays music on its own randomly.Why?

I have a Sonos Beam that I am trying to get working with GA. Have followed all the instructions added GA within the Sonos app. Gone into GA and checked names, set default speaker etc.Beam/GA recognise voice commands as it comes back and tells what it is going to do. Then it comes back and says it looks like Sonos isn’t available. Doesn’t mentioned the name of the speaker I have told it to play through. Have tried renaming the room and speakers within Sonos App and GA. Always the same Sonos not available.At the moment I only have Sonos speakers in one room. A Beam and two One SLs. So wouldn’t have thought much scope for confusion as to where it was supposed to be playing.any suggestions. Family is so used to using GA to stream audio in other devices I would like this to work.

How do I adjust the output balance between my main Arc soundbar and my 2 surround sound speakers? The predominant sound is emitting from the sound bar and I want to increase the bias to the back of my room.

Hi,I tried troubleshooting this with Sonos Customer Support to no avail. I’m trying to trueplay tune my home theatre setup which consists of a Beam Gen 2, sub mini and 2 play 1s for surround. It fails every time midway through the test and asks for me to try again. Help! 

Despite many attempts I have been unsuccessful in trying to play the sound from my Soundbar to other speakers in other rooms.I have gone into the Groups option, set up a group name then in my speaker list select Playbar and other speaker in other rooms. I have saved this setting hoping I would now be able to hear Playbar sound in the other speakers, but nothing!What can I be doing wrong?Thanks.

Arc speaker connected to the TV has just gone crazy. Middleton of a program it just starting sounding like some sort of nuclear alert siren. Unbelievably loud single tone siren. Had to disconnect the speaker, only way to stop the sound. any advise appreciated. Hope the speaker isn’t bricked. Wouldn’t be the first. 

Grateful for anyone who can help please - I've been tearing my hair out!  I’m unable to properly connect my 2 OneSLs to the new Wi-Fi network after we upgraded the router. Surprisingly the two old Play:3s and a more recent Move work fine and are happily connected.  The router is a Vodafone Ultra Hub with extender which offers 2.4, 5 and 6Ghz on different networks, recognising that older devices may not be able to connect to 6Ghz. the OneSLs are instantly recognised when connected by Ethernet but disappear when using Wi-Fi. They can be found by factory resetting on Wi-Fi but then disappear again at the end of the “add new speaker” process (this finishes with the statement: “your product has been added, but may not appear in your system  unplug it, plug it back in, to finish setup from settings”  and of course when you do that it can't be found again!)restarting the router doesn't help  turning off the extender doesn't helpseparating the different networks doesn't helpconnecting via Ethe

I am not Tec Savvy at all. Husband is and has set up Sonos system , had for 7 years, we have Sonos One, speakers in most rooms and a sound bar on TV. Having missed the vinyl experience , I am now looking for a good quality , classy turntable to link easily to my existing Sonos set up, to be able to enjoy my vinyl that I thankfully kept for 30 years. My husband bought a Pro _Ject 1 turntable , with minimal research. He realized we needed other stuff to get it to work but then we could not get it to connect to the Sonos system. Frustrating , so all packaged up, not used and sent back, awaiting refund from Poland. I have had a look on some of the threads and there are recommendations for Viola Stream Carbon and Onyx.  Is it easy to set up? Will it work with Sonos One ? Is it available to buy in the UK? I am no expert at sound quality, but know I don’t like a tinny sound, hence the depth of quality with the Sonos system. I am looking for a mid range, not high end sound, best value for mone

Sonos not connecting to Apple TV, was working only weeks agoI airplay my projectors sound to two Sonos Ones. And they worked well only a few weeks ago. It was simply a matter of selecting the Sonos system from the audio menu and it would connect. Now I’ve tried factory resetting and reconnecting the speakers and they still won’t play through Apple TV. I’m stuck and not sure what else to try?Could it be the latest version of the app? I’ve read a few others complaining of different problems but blaming it on the app. Anyone with a similar problem? Or any ideas of what else I might need to try to get them working again.  

Hello I have Beam 2nd Gen paired with two Ikea Symfonisk as surrounds. Those work properly by themselves, even as stereo pair, also I'm able to set them in a separate room and play music in both living room and symfonisks' room at the same time.  But, when I set them as surrounds, even if the process is done fine, all the steps of the app properly done and they appear as set as surrounds... They don't sound, not in 5.1 films, nor in surround music. I have spatial music activated, surround music activated…volume is high enough.  The buttons of the symfonisks work, so I can control volume of the beam up and down from the Symfonisk. I have reset all the speakers to factory reset and tried a fresh connection. Same results.  I tried to connect one of the speakers through RJ45 but still no sound and also, it's weird that I buy wireless speakers and I have to use them connected to the router with a cable.  I have not been able to find solutions on internet What could be the solution?  Thanks

Volume is very low with my surround speakers One SL speakers left & right, I can barely hear it. Majority of the sound is coming from the beam & im no longer getting the surround effect. 

“There was a problem adding Sonos Voice Control. Make sure product is connected to Wi-Fi.”This is the error I have been getting every time I try adding SVC. Was able to add Alexa and it works. My phone with the Sonos App is on the same Wi-Fi network as the Roam 2 , same channel. T When I try to add SVC, it takes several minutes until that error message above is displayed.Tried using a different WiFi router, logging off/on from the Sonos App, re-installing the app. But for some reason, I cannot get SVC added. Would really like to do away with Alexa, if I can only add SVC. Any ideas? Why I cant add SVC to Roam 2? What is causing this?

Hello,i’ve my turntable connected to Sonos ERA 100 with sonos line in cable.I then have a setup with Beam, 2x Ikea symfonisk and sub mini. In another room I have a sonos roam.Sound is playing flawlassy on my surround setup ( beam, symfonisk and sub) but I have no audio on ERA and Roam, also if I select them and from the app it looks like they are playing it.I’m only having an hum sound on both of them if I go full volume.i’m doing something wrong?thank you

I recently update the iOS app and it now wants me to update the firmware on my Sonos components, which I’m happy to do except that the update always fails with error 30.Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

How can I reduce the volume of the confirmation messages from SONOS when using voice command or switch off these confirmations completely? This is completely unacceptable or unusable as it is now.

I want to use Sonos Amp for my hi-fi-speakers but need more power than the amp supplies. Is there any way I can put together two Sonos Amps for the same set of speakers and thus “doubling” or increasing the power? Thank you in advance. 

Samsung Frame TV connected to a Playbar and Sub in my living room.  Works fine if playing from the TV or other SONOS sources.  2 Speakers connected to a Connect AMP (with 2 speakers) and configured as surround sound for the room produce either no volume from the TV or it’s so low I can’t tell if they’re working because I hear the sound from the playbar and sub.  If I pull the Connect AMP out of that room and set it up as a separate room both speakers are loud and clear when playing any SONOS source other than TV.  Why would that be? How can I get these speakers to work as both surround sound and when playing music from a SONOS source.
