Sonos Roam used to work seamlessly, but some months ago, I started having issues connecting to it from my laptop. Immediately after connecting it would just disconnect. Not sure why but it renders it unusable for when I need it to connect to my laptop.

Hi @rommelngo, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear that your Sonos Roam is having issues when connected to your Laptop. If it immediately disconnects then I would say the the connection between devices isn’t finalizing correctly. If you connect the Roam to a different device, such as a phone, does it still immediately disconnect?

We have a support article for being unable to pair via Bluetooth, which suggests:

  • Reduce the distance between Sonos and your Bluetooth device
  • Move Sonos and your Bluetooth device to a different room or location
  • Forget previous Bluetooth listings

A good troubleshooting step would be to restart both the Sonos Roam and your Laptop. I hope this helps!

We have 2 Roam speakers at our office  for 2 years and its only trouble. It never works properly. One Raom speakers is not connecting at all for a year.

Can we get our money back to buy a JBL?

Nope, restarted already 100 times. Also 100 times reset, updated the software on the phone, etc. nothing works. No connection with phone. No bluetooth connection. The Roam speaker is really trash.
