Hi all,Is there any news about this limitation removed ? After all, it's 2025 and having a playlist of over 100 songs shouldn't be a problem…(No matter whether some people think it's a good idea or not to have very large playlists)Can we expect this limit to be lifted?I bought my SONOS equipment without knowing about this. And if I had known about it, I think I would have turned to another brand. Thanks

I have 2 Play 1s, a Beam and a Connect Amp.  One Play1 And the Beam connect and work fine.  The other Play1 and the Connect Amp are recognised by the app but fail connection, and for the Connect Amp will not update the software so can't complete.  I do not understand how 2 items work but 2 do not.  Have had 2 phone sessions wth agents with no success. How can half the system work and half not especially when the play1s are identical.  Surely it can't be anything to do with my router or wifi.I was in the process of updating my sonos but am now having second thoughts unless I can get a handle on the the systems reliabilty.

We lost power awhile ago and now our connect amp doesn’t work. We have reset it. The lights don’t light up on it. Think we need a new one?

Hey all,I just upgraded my Sonos Arc to the Arc Ultra. While I was hoping it would be a simple swap out using the cables I had hooked up to the Arc, something has gone haywire with the HDMI cable I was using (Monoprice 8k Certified HDMI) and the eARC handshake between my devices, tv, and soundbar are causing issues that cause the sound to be downgraded to non-Atmos or 5.1 tracks. I’ve troubleshot this all week and finally just decided to try the Sonos provided HDMI cable that came in the Ultra box, and used that from the eARC port of my LG C1 TV to the Arc Ultra, and that seems to have fixed the issues (at least so far). This makes me think that I need to replace the previously used HDMI cord and am wondering if anybody has suggestions for what they use. I need at least 10’ to be able to route it through my wall, and again, it needs to be in-wall rated.Appreciate your help in advance.

How do I get my line in to work on my new Sonos Move 2?

Does anyone else have this issue and do you have a solution? I have a 1st Generation Arc soundbar. Something I notice too often is that I will be listening to music on the Arc (with 2x Era surrounds) when the Arc suddenly stops playing music. For a while i thought this was down to bad wifi connection but then I started to notice the Sonos App has switched itself to "TV Audio" even though the TV is turned off.I wonder if the TV (or the connected Game Console) is "pinging" my Arc and causing this?I suppose I could turn off the power supply to the TV and Game Console and see if that stops it but that would be an inconvenient solution.I have noticed this occurring more frequently since last year's major update to the App. I rarely get through an album without it happening at least once.

I wish to play mp 3 tracks I have saved on my phone and cannot see how to access them or play them via Sonos. Please advise.

Can I connect my Bluetooth headphones to a Ray? My AirPods

Good morning. Sonos Ace, minimum volume is too high. Is there a way to lower it more? Thanks

Hi, The new Sonos app (for Mac and iPhone, with Sonos One speakers, as of 1/22/2025) is an improvement from last summer, but… We frequently can not get any music to play out of our 3 speaker pairs without unplugging and plugging in the speakers.  With 6 speakers and several outlets behind furniture, this is HORRIBLE! When we do get music playing from a pair of speakers, we can’t add other speaker pairs… unless we start the music from the correct pair (living room or family room).  If we start the music on the dining room pair, we can never connect to the other speakers. We had a single speaker upstairs, but occasionally the music would shift to that speaker and then we could not pause/stop the music.  We finally powered off this speaker and this system works better. We have many friends with Sonos in their home and all have had rough experiences.  I used to recommend Sonos, but no longer do.  I’d like to add a couple more pairs of speakers but don’t dare given all the issues. #sadsonosu

I have an old player that I used to connect to my router via a Sonos bridge. This now does not work as it causes my internet to drop really low with the new bt router I have. What is the cheapest way to connect the playbar so I can play music on it. It is connected to my Sony Bravia TV.

My daughter recieved the Roam about 4 years ago and has never been able to get it set up.  I recently began trying again to see if I could do it.  It has been recognized by the system and Wifi has been connected but it will not allow me to register the device.  I would like to at least be able to use it as a blue tooth speaker but understand that can’t be done unless the device is registered.I don’t understand why this has to be so complicated with all the personal information required and the many steps needed.  I see instructions to reboot my router, turn the device on and off holding the button until the second tone…, and finally, to sign out of the app and back in.  All I want to do is use the speaker with Blue tooth.  This seems like a very touchy system for something that has been around for a number of years and for a speaker that is not inexpensive.  Why do I need a SONOS app to play music from Alexa or apple music?  I can do this through bluetooth from my phone or Alexa device

Yesterday I opened my Sonos app (S 2) on my iPhone to play some music.Instead of the normal screen, I had a message to the effect that “an update is required before app is usable.”I have automatic updates turned off in system settings, and prefer to manually update to a new version in case of bug(s) being discovered, etc..  I have never seen a message like this before, and would prefer to not be forced to update.I am now updated to S2 16.5.1 (build 82360160).Please advise as to (1) why this happened and (2)  how or if  I can avoid being forced to update in the future.

Hi all,Wondering if someone can help with this.  I’ve a Sonos Arc Ultra connected to LG G4 OLED TV via HDMI ARC.  The sound takes (consistently) 2 minutes to output from the Ultra after turning on the TV.Both the Arc Ultra and LG G4 are running the latest software. Sound > Advanced > Digital Sound Out HDMI Audio set to “Passthrough” Sound > Advanced > “ERC support” set to “enabled” Sound > Advanced > HDMI ARC device Delay set to 0 (though setting to “bypass” does not have an effect). SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC) is enabled (required for volume control through TV remove) Behaviour is occurring irrespective of the content e.g. Streaming Apps vs. analogue TV vs. from other HDMI sources (PS5 and Sky). After x2 minutes everything is fine, Sonos App shows the connection at this point.I’ve tried A/B testing with most of the above settings, and even deleted the HDMI profile on the TV and restarted with no luck.Appreciate this maybe an LG issue (“HDMI handshake or similar”), however I’

I have 2 people on the network with their respective Android phones and 2 different sonos accounts logged in on each phone. Both phones are able to add the spotify service in the sonos app and play music from within the sonos app successfully to the speakers. However, only on one phone I'm able to play music from the Spotify app directly, meaning I can select to connect to the speakers in the “Select another device” menu and then it connects successfully. On the second phone I can see the speakers in the Spotify app menu and when selecting it will attempt to connect for 10 seconds but then fail. Both phones are pixel 8. I have tried:Reinstalling Sonos and Spotify appLogging into the same sonos account on the phone that doesn't work Rebooting the router

Pleas can someone advise - tell me :-will a Sonos 5 gen 1 speaker work in another room along my existing 2 Sonos One gen 2 speakers on this newer Sonos app that I’m using ? many thanksCliff

I have purchased a Sonos Arc, I already have a good pair of in-ceiling hard wired speakers, a set of front Left/Right hard wired speakers and a powered sub.Can I use the Arc for just the Center, add two more Sonos Amps, one for the fronts and one for the rears along with running the powered sub?Or should I return the Sonos Arc and just use two new Sonos Amps with my current hard wired speakers along with the powered sub off one of the amps?

Hi, I am experiencing problems getting sound from my Era 100 when connected via bluetooth. The mobile confirms the connection and the Era 100 comes with an audio signal that confirms the connection, but still no sound from the system. Tried connecting via PC and mobile phone, no sound. Any ideas?Tor-Erik

Tried to reboot Sub. Can’t connect when asked to press. Tried LAN still no good. Then went on to pair x2 play 3 and couldn’t connect. Then parts of App stopped working. What’s going on?I am surprised my playbar is working as nothing else is.😔

I use the Sonos alarm feature daily and love it.  Recently I noticed a notification showing up on my iPhone for an alarm that I do not have either in the Sonos app on my phone or via the PC application.  Interestingly no alarm is triggered at the time this alarm is set for.  I just get the notification.  How do locate this alarm and cancel it?

Why does Sonos make it so difficult to report bugs? It is extremely convoluted involving Chatbots and Phonecalls which always want to ask the most ridiculous questions when all you want to do is alert Sonos of an issue. Surely they can set up a simple bug reporting service similar to Google or Apple?

Hi.Can i use a sub gen 3 with sonos beam gen 1 and two play one gen 1?
