Dear Sonos Support Team,I am writing to express my growing frustration with ongoing issues involving my Sonos system. My speakers have been continuously disconnecting and refusing to reconnect, and from what I can determine, these problems appear to be tied to the recent AWS outage.When I called your support line for assistance, I was connected to an overseas representative who was not familiar with the issue and unable to provide any meaningful resolution. After requesting to speak with a U.S.-based representative, I waited approximately 20 minutes only to be told that none were available. There has to be a better solution to resolving product issues than relying on representatives who are not knowledgeable about the product—especially considering that this system was not inexpensive.As a long-time fan of Sonos, it is disappointing that the system’s heavy dependence on the app and cloud services has led to such unreliability. So i own 2 Play:1s. And the one downstairs is fine, and works normally, The one upstairs (the one that’s having issues), works fine in the sonos app, but on alexa, it still said device offline. So i looked it up, and found that i could deregister it from my alexa account, then add it back, however when i add a speaker, it doesn’t find it during the search.  

I have 4 x Play:1s and am getting fed up with the workarounds I have to use to play my own music. I know Play:1 isn;t compatible with Airplay per se, but I thought there might be a way of getting to work if I add a 5th, more recent Sonos device to the group. Is this is true, and iso, could somebody advise on the cheapest/easiest way of doing this? Thank you

For more than one and a half year, Sonos users have been waiting for a solution to the annoying issue that it isn’t possible to play albums (eg. from symphonies): When a movement (or song) has finished, it doesn’t continue to the next one. This is what ​@Jamie A from the Sonos staff wrote three months ago on a one and a half your old issue:I’ve contacted our team and raised this with them, after testing on my end and asking my colleague to try as well, we also weren’t able to play albums using IDAGIO. This has been raised as an issue as this is not expected and I’ve tagged this thread with the relevant bug report.We don’t have an ETA to share on when this will be resolved, but the team is aware and working on a resolution. I was informed that this should only occur on the mobile version of the app, you should still be able to queue using the desktop version of the Sonos app. Another workaround would be to make a playlist of the album in the desktop app, which I understand is not ideal

One of my Era300 speakers has started making a repetitive, but random rhythm, drumming sound. Whether I am playing music or not. Once I turn it on and off, it stops for a while and then restarts. Anyone else have the same issue? It’s only the left one that does this. 

Hi, trying to add a Connect Amp but it requires an update first.It keeps going in a loop (gives update button option, I click it then it loops back to click the update option again)but doesn't show an error code. Also tried downgrading to the previous Sonos S1 app. Fails to find the amp. Tried the usual reboot after factory reset of holding in the speaker/mute button until it goes into pair mode (green colour). Cleared out the android app cached data as well and tried the website app but it doesn't allow you to add a device....grrrAnyone know how to sort this?

I created a new Spotify account.  The Sonos app will let me remove the old spotify service but when i try to log in to the new service it automatically authorizes the old one without letting me log in to the new one. Has anyone found a work around for this?

I want to move eras around for other purposes, like playing music without the full surround set up. is it possible to create a duplicate living room where eras are not set up in surround?

I have a Sony Bravia TV with a soundbar.  The soundbar’s not brilliant.  Would it help to get a couple of Sonos speakers to use as surround sound?  And how would I connect them?  I already own a Sonos Play 1.  Can I play my telly through that?

Very weird scenario. I can’t remove or reauthorize any of my music content services. When I try and disconnect the service Sonos tells me it was unable to disconnect and there was an error please try again. When I try and add/reauthorize account because I can’t disconnect same answer it goes to app login page for Sirius xm and Spotify and tells me there was an issue reauthorizing the account. I call Sonos support and I can’t even run and submit a diagnostic to Sonos. It times out and says there was an error submitting diagnostics. I log in on the web browser through my desktop and all my speakers are offline. Super weird because my app shows all of them active. I can start Spotify only through the Spotify app not through Sonos and I can control the volume of each device from the Sonos app. I can also unpair groups and re add speakers through the app so obviously the system is working and responsive just appears to be an issue though the app and the browser. How do I connect my hifi system without wireless connection to Sonos era 100 speakers?is a cable available?

I would like Sonos Ace headphones to work the same way as other devices. So that it is possible to listen to sound simultaneously in headphones and a soundbar or assign them to groups. Now the soundbar sound is turned off and other people in the room can't hear anything.My situation: We are watching TV sports. The children are shouting. I put on headphones so I can hear better, but the others in the room, who don't mind the children shouting, can't hear the TV.  That would make me very happy.

HiI have been trying to add Amazon music to my sonos, but Amazons message is that it has sent an OTP code to my email and I don’t receive it, the email that they sent it is a good one, I have tried and tried again and again, their is no choice availlable to send it by text, Can someone help me.Thanks 

Brand new speaker, Alexa seems to work for everything except controlling the smart home. It just says it can’t find a device or group with that name. System is updated, and I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting Alexa from the speaker.Thanks!

Arc keeps beeping on and off and loses sound on various channels but not all

I have a Sonos set up that was installed in 2013.  In the last 1-2 months, my system will cut out for 5-10 seconds.  This will move from room to row with no specific pattern.  Sometimes it will happen 3x in a row about 10 minutes apparent.  Other times it will only happens once or twice with an hour between.  When it cuts out in one room, you will still hear the Sonos playing in another room.I currently have 3x 1st Gen Connect that connect via a Bridge to the Wi-Fi.  These 3x Connects support three different rooms.  The speakers are not Sonos and are powered by a separate amplifier.  So each Connect attach to a different channel on the amp which power the speakers in the respective room.  We also have a 4th room that uses a Connect Amp that powers a set of floor speakers.  All Connect components are connected via a Sonos Bridge and controlled through the Sonos App (not the S1).I normally steam SiriusXM and Amazon Music.  Sometimes we will listen to a CD To trouble shoot, I have install

Hi I would imagine this has been asked, but, due to so many answers relating to the old app, it seemed quicker for me to post.have a sonos beam , sub mini and two era 100 connected to my tv.Can I set up a separate group using the same speakers to play just the era1 100 as a stereo pair , when I play music and then go back to group all of them for the tv?Thanks for your time

So there is the message “couldn't play content. Try again” in 3 different rooms, while one works fine.I have tried rebooting the modem router and the Sonos speakers. Not the mesh. What is weird is that they all work when I choose “everywhere” from the first working room. Just not separately.

I dropped my Era 100 by accident twice. It feels like something is broken inside the speaker. It also sounds too bad. Does anybody know some technician in Mexico City, to fix my Era100?I just discovered that it sounds better upside down.Thanks 

I have been using SONOS for years and playing mp3 and m4a files with no problem.  All of a sudden m4a won’t load.  I saw a response to this issue from 3 years ago that says convert the files.  With what, a magic wand?  I am not a tech guy, I just expect things that work to keep working.  I can play the files from the computer but I don’t care to have to run to the office every time I want to put something on.  What is the issue and how can it be rectified?

I have a Sonos Beam 2. I seem to have connection issue with a TV when it has a non-apple streaming device. Sonos switched between ‘internal speaker’ and ‘HDMI input’ - and thereby no sound coming out. I haven’t used the optical cable yet. Any advice would be much appreciate

Hello,I am a user in Japan with an active Amazon Prime membership. I have been unable to play Amazon Music through the Sonos app for the past few weeks.When I try to play a song from Amazon Music using the Sonos app, playback does not start and I get the following message (see attached screenshot):  "Go Unlimited. Listen to this music and tens of millions more songs with Amazon Music Unlimited. Sign-up at https://www.amazon.co.jp/music_on_sonos".Amazon Music and Sonos are already connected.  (Japanese UI, translated below, see attachment 2):  "Thank you. Amazon Music is now ready to play on your Sonos device. You can return to the Sonos app."Despite this, playback still does not start.- Amazon Music used to work fine with Sonos previously.- I am using Amazon Prime Music, not Amazon Music Unlimited.- The account connection says it is completed.I have already searched this forum for solutions, reinstalled the Sonos, Alexa, and Amazon Music apps, and performed a factory reset on the Roam

How do I check my Roam 2 battery level when not connected to a network and only using Bluetooth? Thanks in advance
