I have a turntable currently using the Sonos port. I recently purchased the Sonos ace headphones and a BTA 30 is it possible to listen to my vinyls on my Sonos ace headphones? If so, can anyone help me? I can’t seem to get this to work

As much as I despise the use of Bluetooth with records, I believe this would work:

if the turntable has a built in preamp, there should be audio going through the Port. The port NEEDS a line level input in order for a turntable to work properly with it. If the turntable does not have a built in preamp, you will need to purchase one.

Then you can connect the BTA 30 to the output on the Port and get the audio from the turntable to the Ace.

But technically, no, the Ace isn’t a ‘room’ in the Sonos software, so you can’t ‘group’ the Ace with a Port (or direct the output to the Ace).

I’m not suggesting grouping the Ace with the Port. I’m suggesting connecting the Bluetooth device, the BTA 30, to the output on the Port, then pairing the Ace with the BTA 30.

Yup, I understood that, but it seemed as though the OP was wanting to ‘group’ them.

My search for “BTA 30” turns up a stereo audio to Bluetooth device. PORT does not receive Bluetooth. You should be able to directly connect ACE to the BTA 30.

Or, for that matter send Bluetooth. The Sonos Port requires the line in to accept a non Sonos streaming signal, and the line out to send a signal out to any connected device. That output can be what is sent in via the line in (with a delay), or a streaming source (again with the delay, but less visible, since you aren’t aware of it occurring).

You should be able to get this to work, but need more details over what steps you taken.

How have you connected the Port to the BTA30 ?

Have you successfully paired Ace with the FiiO BTA30 ?

Is the BTA30 set to BT TX ?

I’m using BTA30 Pro (Pro has LL and a physical switch, non Pro have to change mode via App)

with Port. Select BT TX, connect digital out on Port to digital in on BTA30 Pro, and pair headphones.

Check the BTA30 is genuine, and not a knockoff:

Also, if using Multiport, you need to ensure headphones are connected to the BTA30 and not your phone:
