Just one device or your whole system?

What is an ‘adminstrator’?

Hoping they meant change user account email in the profile, or transfer system ownership in the settings.

Have you tried Settings → General Settings → Transfer System Ownership from the Sonos app on the existing system?

Oh, and if you’re using the S1 Controller, which it looks like you might be based on the products listed in your profile… Settings → System and scroll to the bottom Transfer System Ownership.

Just FYI…

Using the app to transfer ownership only works if the current registered owner is agreeable. If not all Sonos will have to be Factory Reset.

I’m not sure that is in fact true. I changed the email on my system without any particular steps on the old email address.

But you were logged into the system using the old email (and IP) address while you initiated the change.
