I am considering getting rid of my sonos system due to it’s very poor response. Having invested in the system I am loath to change everything. My Play 3’s are hardwired, whilst the Play 1’s and the soundbar are wireless. Android app can take minutes to fully start up where I can control the system, the lag on volume control is appalling. my wireless runs at 380mbps so it isn’t slow, each sonos has a fixed IP

Can someone help me reconnect my Roam? After switching internet provides, I haven’t been able to connect my speaker to Spotify. I have restarted and deleted the app. I have turned off the speaker, unselected it from bluetooth. I have restarted and restarted until I am now on this community asking for help.

I have updated SONOS, TIDAL, rebooted my router, uninstalled and reinstalled both, and still no solution. I have not re-authorized TIDAL because that selection isn’t available on my app. I am really close to closing my account and going elsewhere, especially when there is no human customer support.Any suggestions? Note, the Windows desktop app works fine. TIA. 

I have a full set up in my living room and I have just no go an arc set up for another room wort 4 gen2 and a gen 3 sub but it won’t set up as a separate system on same WiFi, done everything it’s asked but it just won’t find the new system any of it.

Pocket Casts not showing any podcasts and when I try a reauthorize it says check the internet connection.  There’s a Reddit thread with several reporting the same issue. 

Hi everyone. Please excuse me I am not very technically minded just need a little help. I am replacing my era 100 (2 of them) with era 300. Do I just need to add them to my existing system & then follow the app instructions? Many thanks for your help & any info you think  might help would be great. The era 100 are going in another room by the way.😃

Question: How do I keep my line-in audio source playing to the entire house while flipping a record instead of having it disconnect from the Sonos group? I recently switched my turntable (AT-LP60XBT) from a Bluetooth connection to a line-in connection. (After adding a couple more speakers around the house the BT connection was starting to fail and drop speakers off, I assume due to the delay.)(With the line in 3.5 to USB-C)When I start a record, the music automatically comes out of my era 100 fine. I then go in the app and select the rest of the house, which plays fine. Almost 100% of the time, when the record stops and needs to be flipped, the audio reverts back to only the Era 100 that the line in is plugged into. This is complicated by the fact that in the app, the line in is still connected to the entire house (5 speakers) and does not update. So then I force quit the app to reset it, and when first opened, the app seems to come alive and connect to my system fine but does not show

Hi,I would like to order the combination set of Arc Ultra + 2 Era 300s.  The Arc needs to be black with the Eras white.  Is it possible to order the combination deal in this configuration?  There is only an all black or all white option on the website.Thanks, Kevin

Hi everyone,I can’t find the way to have two different systems on my house. I’ve read some posts, buy they are not exactly what i Want to do.I want a System A with a Play 1 and a Play 5 with a turntable, they are streaming from a NAS A.I want a System B with several Connect and Amp, they are streaming from a NAS B.Today, everything is in the App, but I want to isolate the system A to it’s own phone App et system B too.What is the correct way to do it ? Create a second account with another email ? Using another wifi network ?I’m lost.Thanks in adavnceJerome 

I have a Sonos Beam Gen 1 and 2 Sonos IKEA Symfonisk Bookshelf Speakers connected.In order to be able to use this set up as my audio source for my Mac mini M4 I have the Mac connected to the Beam using:Mac connected to a USB C to SPDIF Optical Audio Output Adapter with 192khz/24 bit DAC This is then connected to the official Sonos Optical Audio Adapter  This is then connected to an HDMI cable which goes into the Beam.With thanks to ​@wheee09 who suggested this method in this thread 3 years ago. When I use the Apple Music app on my Mac to play music with the USB SPIDF Adapter selected as the source it works perfectly. Audio from the browser (Safari and Chrome) also works fine (for example YouTube). However when I launch GeForce Now (a gaming service) on my Mac the rear bookshelf speakers have a faint rippling/warbling noise coming out of them. Q - does anyone know what might be causing this and if there is a fix? The only thing I can think that is different between the three sources I’m

Beam Gen 2 with Symfonisk SpeakersI have a Beam Gen 2 soundbar and recently got 2 IKEA Symfonisk speakers (one Picture Frame and one Floor Lamp). I can see them in the app and play music on them, but I'm unable to add them as surrounds to my Beam. I also can't set them up as a stereo pair.Troubleshooting steps I've already tried: Moved all speakers to a new room Created a new room and moved everything there Factory reset each device and tried re-pairing - same issue When I tried putting the 2 speakers in setup mode to add them as surrounds, the app wanted me to add them as new speakers instead of recognizing them for surround setup I haven't tried using Ethernet since I don't have easy access to ports nearby, but I don't see why that should be necessary for this.Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions would be really helpful. Thanks!

Greetings, I thrifted a Play:3 for $15 recently and figured it would be a solid upgrade to my basic Creative Pebbles that I'm using now. I was wondering if I could use it as a PC speaker system with my laptop's dock setup. The laptop is plugged into a Pluggable Thunderbolt 3 dock, which is plugged into a Netgear gigabit switch shared with my other devices. If I plug the speaker into the switch, will my laptop be able to use it as an audio out? I'm on a captive network but I already provided the admins with the MAC address to get it online. Thanks!

When trying to watch a movie through Disney app on Apple TV, the sound is broken, intermittent…… all other apps play fine…. Netflix, prime….. it’s just the Disney app…. Advice please

Hello,While i was listening to music today, there all of a sudden was some popping noises on the right side of my headphones, that lasted for like 2 seconds, went quiet and then came a white noise that started out quiet but became louder over time. I searched online what it could be, and Google gave an answer that it could be that I didn't update my Sonos Ace (same answer here), but didn't work for me at all. Nothing changed after I updated it.It seems to always start out quiet and gradually gets louder, until it becomes unbearable to listen to. 

We were away for about 3 weeks and, upon returning two of our speakers won’t work.  I can connect them to the ethernet cable and they will work, but they can’t seem to use wifi.  I do have the app on my phone which seems to be where I have to adjust the settings.  I keep my music library on a MacBook Pro, not all the music is downloaded onto my phone or iPad.  It would take too much space.  

My WiFi is working as I’m streaming Netflix. yet my Sonos is not connecting to play music

I noticed that I use to have my volume set at a certain volume number and it was perfect for my listening preference, but now it seems I need to turnup the volume setting much much higher today???Also my bass is not pounding like it once use to unless I am turning uo the setting to like 8 setting. It was no where near that before. Something must have changed, what? Dannyo

Hi, I am running the Amp and Sub Mini with a pair of KEF Q150’s. Sounds really good but I’d like to try better speakers, namely better KEFS, LS50 Meta’s.Anyone running them please? I have searched and a couple of posts 5 years ago came up. Thanks.

Starting a few months ago, I can no longer play WPFW 89.3 (DC) on Sonos.  It plays in the TuneIn app, or on the station website, just fine, but when I try to play it through Sonos, I get a “Couldn't play content, try again” error.Every other station I try works fine on Sonos, and WPFW works fine via the web and via TuneIn -- just not in Sonos (although it did until a few months ago).This is my go-to weekend station, so I would appreciate if someone could help me solve the mystery!

I use Sonos Desktop Controller on Windows, with my large Music Library on the PC. If I turn off the Windows Defender Firewall for the Public Network, it works fine.  If I turn on the Firewall for Public Network the app does not find the Music Library. The Firewall settings for allowing apps to communicate through the Windows Defender Firewall for Sonos Desktop Controller is to allow on Private and Public networks. Changing my local network to Private or Public does not seem to change anything. So all is fine if the Windows Defender Firewall is Off for Public Networks.  This is not good.  I seek advice on how I can make this work safely.

Hello i just bought 2 Sonos era 100, I have seen numerous complaints regarding the case getting some cracks over time. I am still in the 30 day window for a return. Can anyone confirm if Sonos changed the way they are making the era 100 so the case does not peel ? what happens once the warrant expired and it starts peeling ? thank you
