These Sonos speakers are basically useless for the past 2 years. We have 3 Play 1, one Play 5, and one Move. They’re never all connected anymore. Every time you try to play music, either zero of them are connected or maybe one or 2 are connected. And it’s always different ones so there’s no consistency. I want to sell them all but they’re worthless so who would buy them?? Are other people still having this same issue? Is there anything you’ve tried that works to keep them consistently connected? I feel like the better business bureau should shut Sonos down for this blatant lack of product functionality and pay us all money back. This is so beyond frustrating. 

Hi everyone,I'm trying to set up two Symfonisk speakers as surrounds for my Sonos Beam (Gen 2), but the app won’t let me complete the setup.Both speakers are visible in the Sonos app and work fine individually. When I try to add them as surrounds, it's working but after i have in the app for Symfonisk surrounds Not connected statusAny idea what could cause that?Thanks for the help!

How many external devices (i.e. LP player and CD Player) can I connect to a Sonos Amp or Port? Can I connect both to one device and if so whioch one do I need?

I recently replaced my Amazon Echo with an Era 100, and have been very disappointed with its detection of the Alexa wake word.On the Echo, I could be anywhere in the room, and say “Alexa, do X” at any volume level, even a whisper, and it would hear me. However, with the Era 100, we are regularly having to repeat ourselves, as it fails to detect us saying “Alexa”. I find we have to be standing directly in front of the Era, say “Alexa” firmly, pause briefly and then state my command, for it to work. But even knowing that, it still takes us multiple attempts to stop a timer going off as it never seems to hear “Alexa, stop” the first time we say it.Do others have the same experience? Or could our Era be faulty?

Hi all.  Gen1 play5, play 1 and a bridge.2 weeks ago Sonos S1 cannot connect to system.  Full reset to everything.Still would not find Bridge (always had ethernet cable to bridge).Will find play 5 when I connect play5 to ethernet cable.  Also then sees play 1 but not bridge.Happy to play music at this point.App then falls over when we move to wifi connection.Any ideas? Have Sonos decided 10years is enough and they want more£?

Will it work with mini sub ?

Hello guys, I am very sorry for this topic i am a first time sonos user and it is been asked many many times but i hope there is a solution that is so easy that i can understand. Other users on our wifi network can open the sonos app and look for devices and can control everything.I dont like that and i dont want that because it is a student house and i think,no i know they are gonne play with it on moments i dont like. I have read that I can do it with a seperate router, so i have to connect the amp to that router.        Do I have to put the live internet cable in the wan or lan port of that router and wont i get problems with the other internet system and routers because of ip or subnet settings?                                       I Dont have acces to the provider router thats the main wifi and cabled internet.And does have the amp acces to the network to play spotify.(because when it is in that network it is detectable or is that theory false. Or are there other easy solutions.

I have the playbar, play on and play 3 speakers. When we originally bought the speakers I was able to download an app on my phone and was able to get the speakers working. I was able to control them from my phone. We eventually removed the app from my phone, but when I reinstalled it, I could no longer get the speakers to sinc. I believe that these speakers now require some sort of upgrade?? Our playbar is the only speaker connected now to the TV, I don’t want to lose that connection. What do I do to get everything working again.I dont really want to buy new speakers as I cannot afford them now

I have an Arc Ultra sound bar and I'm thinking about In-wall speakers for the rear. I have power available, so can I go without the amp and just connect them to my Arc Ultra through WiFi?

Which eligible upgrade items receive a 30% off upgrade credit? I checked all my items, and they receive a 15%, upgrade credit, despite some being from 2015. You would think that any item that can no longer receive updates would be a candidate. I realize that the blast email sent out said “up to a 30% upgrade credit”. Just wondering how old, or which items specifically, meet the criteria for the 30% upgrade credit. Thank you.

HelloIs there any way of streaming music directly from my phone to Sonos Amp?I've looked at:a usb c to RCA cable with DAC from my phone to the Ampa usb c to DAC and then from DAC to AmpAnd a Bluetooth receiver to RCA plugged into the Amp Not sure which one will give me the best results and whether they'd work.Any thoughts and help appreciated.Thanks 

Our speaker (Sonos S18) stopped working So we did a factory reset and it still didn’t do anything.  I reconnected it to the Sonos app and it shows in the app.The speaker has  been unplugged for almost 2 weeks when we plugged it in, the white light is on, but we do not get any sound or any response from it.  

I am trying to do an outdoor set up for a projector. The equipment id like to use is:projectorscreenroku stickMove2 x 2Roam2 x 2 i cannot get the projector or Roku to connect to Sonos system. I purchased the amp, thinking that would solve the problem, alone with an hdmi audio extractor, but the audio still played through the projector.  Any tips??  

I’m having a super frustrating issue with my Era 300s stereo paired to a Sub Mini. Every time I AirPlay from my phone, I get the spinning wheel followed by an “Unable to connect to [room]” error. If I tap the speaker again, it connects instantly and after that, it reconnects fine until the next day when the problem repeats. Here’s what I’ve tried with no lasting fix:Rebooting my phone, router, and modem Hard resetting the speakers and the app Swapping routers (ISP issued router > Linksys Velop > Eero Pro 6E) Setting DHCP reservations Calling Sonos support (they just suggested another reset) The weird part is no other AirPlay 2 devices on my network have this problem (HomePods, Apple TVs, LG TV, JBL soundbar) and it’s not isolated to my phone either because I can reproduce this issue on all iOS and macOS devices in the house. It’s not the end of the world, but waiting 20–30 seconds every day to stream music adds up to a very frustrating experience. Apparently my new ACE isn’t compatible with my “old” 2014 PlayBar... Very sad. But worth, I don’t see how to connect ACE directly to my recent TV The Frame… anyone knows how to solve that?

Just bought a ERA300 and set it up an hour ago. Usually I listen to music from Spotify but I also have made a few playlist with own produced music, imported to my iPhone as mp3 files. I create a playlist in Spotify on my computer with these files and when I connect my iPhone to the computer it synchronizes the iPhone with the changes I made, the playlist with local files pops up in the iPhone as well. But now I have tried both the “normal” way to listen to these local files from the iPhone via ERA300 connected to WIFI which not worked, and I did not expect it to work either.Then I pushed the small “bluetooth connect” button on the back of ERA300 and connected my iPhone via bluetooth. It still refused to play my mp3 files, when I click on them in Spotify on my iPhone absolutely nothing happens. My thoughts on this is that maybe the WIFI still is connected to ERA300, and this might be the reason that it does not work? Can I stop ERA300 from beeing connected to the WIFI and use it as a si

I have a surround sound system.  Every day, although music still plays the system disappears form the app and I go through the network update routine.  This is getting so regular that it is more than a nuisance.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  Thanks.

I currently use a Sonos Arc setup with two Sonos Subs in the same room, and the improvement in bass distribution is fantastic. However, in larger rooms or more acoustically challenging environments, the ability to add a third (or even fourth) Sub would be extremely valuable.I’d love to see Sonos expand the current limitation and allow more than two Subs in a single zone. This would open up new possibilities for advanced home theater setups and professional installations.Is this something Sonos is considering for future updates? I know many users with larger spaces would benefit from this flexibility.

I have an issue with Sonos skipping ONLY when playing songs from my digital music library.I am at my wits end and ready to scrap Sonos after a year of frustration and troubleshooting.Until last fall, my home library (80 GB of mp3s) played just fine. Suddenly (sometime between October and November 2024), songs would play about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way through and then skip to the next, sometimes it would play just a few seconds. Sometimes it just stops playing altogether. It will be fine for a few songs and then all of a sudden start skipping. It seems to get worse, skipping sooner and more often (until I get annoyed and turn it off). It ONLY affects playing songs from my iTunes music library. There have been no other issues with any other service, including Sonos Radio, Amazon, Spotify; they all play just fine.My system includes 2 x Play:5, 2 x Play:3, Play:1, Sonos Move. After the last update, my Sub G3 that I use with my ARC now sounds weaker and I have to increase the volume of the sub from the application when before I didn't even have to do it. The worst part is that if I turn off the Sub G3, the ARC sounds with more bass than the Sub itself.

I am heavily invested in Sonos, but I’ve just about had enough with it. I have probably spent in total several weeks of my life trying to fix random issues with it.The latest issue I have, I bought an Arc Ultra and 2 Era 300s to go in my lounge to replace an existing arc and 2 One SLs. They would not connect, lots of issues, hours on the phone to support (which by the way I’m STILL waiting to hear back from with a solution!). After a bit of Copilot help, I think i fixed the issue, which was to enable IGMP on my Draytek Vigour router. I thought I might have finally resolved the issue. However, this in turn has caused another issue, which is to stop a pair of Fives (and a Sub) set up in a stereo pair from working.One of the Fives connects and plays, but the other constantly shows as an issue annd no longer connected along with the Sub.
