When playing my television, which has a Sonos arc ultrasound bar, and subwoofer, the speakers driven by the amp are cutting in and out constantly. How do I fix that?

Sorry. My mistake. I’m new at this and I’m not sure how I might’ve clicked rear surrounds. That is incorrect. What I have is a large great room and the amp and the speakers driven by the amp are used at the far end of the room where the kitchen is. When we sit there, we use those speakers rather than the sound bar and the subwoofer. So the problem is fixed now that I changed the amount of the delay from Low to medium. Thanks!
Is the Amp connected via Ethernet? If so, that is not optimal. It is best to have the Amp connected wirelessly and in the same room as the Arc.
It’s connected to Wi-Fi and it’s in the same room as the TV and the subwoofer and the arc ultra. The Wi-Fisignal is very strong. I just tried changing the channel from Channel 6 to channel 11. That seems to have helped a little bit. But there are still some dropouts.
OK, I just did an AI search and found the solution: I needed to move the group audio delay from Low to medium. Problem solved. Thank you.

Folks were answering the wrong question, reading your original post I was about to do the same.
It is important to make your setup clear, we were thinking the Amp was powering surrounds and Bonded to the Arc, not an independent Room, Grouped to the Arc. A very different issue.
I think there’s a good reason folks were answering that way. The OP used the tag “Rear Surrounds”. That would imply the Amp & speakers were bonded to the Arc Ultra as “Rear Surrounds”. Not grouped and therefore the AI answer would be incorrect for that situation.
This is a clear case of the OP not knowing how to setup surround speakers using an Amp. However, in the OP’s defense others have setup Sonos stereo pairs as a separate room and grouped them to a Sonos soundbar thinking they have setup surrounds properly.
For the OP and others first add the Amp as Component via the Sonos app. During that process the app will ask how you intend to use the Amp:
- As a stand alone to power up to six (6) Sonos Architectural speakers or up to four (4) 3rd party speakers
- Power Sonos Architectural or 3rd party speakers (x2) as front or rear surround speakers in a home theater.
