Dear Sonos community. I am currently in the situation of having issues with the center channel of my home theater setup. The dialogue in different media is sounding very muffled. Here’s what I have done to troubleshootGot help from Sonos support. After an hour of troubleshooting with them on the phone, they decided to send me a new Arc Ultra. Issue still remains after the receiving the new speaker unit, so ... I have used a specific youtube video to use as benchmarking the issue I tested the video from my Computer (It’s hooked up to the TV), youtube app from my Nvidia Shield, and also the Youtube app on LG TV. Same issue. However! The issue is not present when running the sound via Airplay. Dolby Atmos content is not affected by this issue. The media that I have without Dolby Atmos has this issue. This issue appeared recently (last two weeks), so can it be that an update for the Arc Ultra is causing this to happen? Thanks for the attention!

Hi Looking to upgrade my TV and also my Sonos Arc to Ultra version, have the issues been ironed out with firmware updates to the TV and Arc Ultra Apreciate your replies

Can this be tracked via my app or details to the next IP address it is assigned to? It shows only on my app(Had a crazy ex decide to let herself in my house using a spare key and stole items including a Nintendo switch and one sonos Beam and Amazon Alexa show 10. All require an internet connection to use

Is brain fm available as a service in Sonos?

I have a combination of SONOS (Amp and One) and Apple speakers.  For various reasons, I almost exclusively use my computer as the “host” and airplay to the devices.  All the SONOS devices go to “sleep” after a period of time (several hours) even with music playing.  At that point they are “stuck” on the Apple Airplay selection list and I have to restart Apple Music to be able to select again.  Is this common?

This morning I received an email from Sonos indicating that I had purchased 2 amps.  They had my correct name, credit card number, and email address but wrong home/billing address.  I canceled my credit card and I think I was able to also cancel the purchase from Sonos.  I had recently (2 days ago) used that card to purchase an Andrew Bird substack subscription.  I know Andrew Bird has done some work for them.  I would like to know how this happened. I never made the purchase.

March ‘26 still no further. Wow!Still can’t get rid of the ‘red stripe’ device offline. Some settings may not be available.. Been ages now. Appalling! Didn’t really need to buy Alexa compatible speakers. Sonos, Alexa owes you a few...!If anybody has any fixes that aren't online, let me know.Jay Bullrich

hi guys anybody having this issue msi blocking update cannot find what is causing this

I have a sound issue that originates with my Panasonic UB 820-K blu-ray player.  It is dropping audio during playback and the fix is to use the dual hdmi outputs from the blu-ray.  One video hdmi out to the my TCL QM8L tv, and one audio hdmi out to the Sonos soundbar. Well the Sonos Arc Ultra only has one earc hdmi input.  How do I run a non-earc audio hdmi from my blu-ray player to the Arc Ultra? Thx

I have a LG OLED TV and ARC Ultra.  I have had this combination for almost 2 years with no issues.Recently, I have an issue where I turn off the TV and in a few seconds it turns back on.  This can happen multiple times, or sometimes only once.  But it does persist. The configuration and connections have not changed. My online research indicates a probable issue with a SONOS update that has triggered this issue.Does anyone have a suggestion?

My beam GEN one has stopped working. It doesn’t have any light or indication of power and will not reset.

Hi - I have a mix of old and not so old speakers (Soundbar, Play One, Play 2, One Gen 2) and operating my Music library (iTunes) through my iMAC ………. and S2 Controller (I was advised on a remote session with Sonos Technician) to install S2 rather than S1). For some months (since a Sonos update?) I’ve not been able to correctly sync my music.Problems I now show on all devices (2 iPhones and the iMAC) duplicated Imported Playlists.  I can play either of any particular duplicated playlist through the iMAC ……….but not through the Controller on either phone. This has given me the run around for some time and tbh getting fed up with it.Happy to get this sorted on S2 or AS1, if someone can help overcome the issue, or alternatively to install a 3rd party app that works for all devices

If anyone has sonos playing their jellyfin music please share how.  Jellyfin is so awesome i find it almost impossible to believe there is no solution.  I must be missing something big.  But after hours of reading around and looking at ports and multicasting and reading about dlna and upnp i feel lost.  (6) play ones (1) playbar (1) movejellyfin running on truenas scale with port 1900/udp open.  i see nothing in the sonos app about jellyfin or dlna or upnp.  i’m tempted to create a smb share to try to share the files directly??  @RenegadeAndy did you ever work anything out?

ERA100I have a pair of ERA100 and a mini subwho has got four in use in the same room?steve

I need to start completely over and wipe my current system. The instructions online offer steps, but those steps don’t align with what I see in my app. Does anyone have detailed instructions on how to do this. I’ve spent thousands of dollars and countless hours trying to get this product to work, and I’m so very frustrated. I need this systems to work given the resources I’ve put into it, so I need to start over and rebuild and hope that is the solution to ultimately making my system work.

I have a surround sound system of a PlayBar, Sub and two Play:1 speakers for TV and streaming. Since the last update I’ve had some issues. When trying to mute the sound or change the volume via the buttons on the Play:1s, the green light comes on then goes out and nothing happens. If I restart the speakers, they will work for a short while and then fail again. They are performing normally otherwise and are visible in the app as part of the system.I just remembered another issue. When I restart my Mac, the Sonos app can’t find the speakers until I go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network and flip the Sonos switch off and on. I know this is a known issue as I found the answer here when it first happened. I don’t know if that is an Apple or Sonos responsibility. Finally, just to say that when logging in here, there was an error message I didn’t record (sorry) but a page refresh let me in. Anyway, thanks for reading this. It’s just the first one that I need help o

Upgraded my TV. SAMSUNG QN55QZFDAFXZA QLED which does not have a dedicated optical port. It has the eARC/HDMI port. Purchased a eARC/ARC to Optical Audio Converter ESY266 in order to make the connection to the optical port on my PLAYBAR. Successful link and setup of my PLAYBAR and PLAY 1 speakers. Volume control via the SONOS app works perfect no issue. My question/issue is this….I cannot control the SONOS volume via the SAMSUNG  Smart TV Solar Remote Controller BN59-01432J A. This SAMSUNG remote is universal. Reading the details of the Audio converter it states  “this product does not support CEC functionality The optical interface cannot be used to control volume throught the TV remote”

I bought my Sonos 2006, so it's most probably 1st gen. The main connector to the internet with an ethernet cable is a ZP100. Over the years, the  other ZP100, I think it is, with the small Sonos speaker upstairs stopped working.. The  remote control  that I bought with it stopped working too. Luckily an app was made, so the remote control (which costed a lot of money, was made redundant anyway). Left with the ZP100 downstairs and a non Sonos speaker, it worked for years. Then I added a PLAY 5 to the mix for the kitchen. All these kept working for many years, and then life happened - no time for listening to music THAT WAY. About 5 months ago, I had a guest and put the kitchen one on. We had a good time, listened to old school music.  The very next day, to continue the vibe, I put my Sonos on and to this day, I can't get them to work! Was a code sent to brick the older ones once they come online? There's no reason the systems shouldn't work. I just want to register my unhappiness. I'm I

I am trying to play my Sonos speaker but app continuously says I need to log in to update my connection. Even tho I am logged in

For some unknown reason when I clicked on my fave ABC radio station this morning Sonos wouldn’t play it. It’s playing Spotify no problem. Help!

Hi all.I have a Sonos ZP90 zone player that works fine in our bar - outhouse, also linked play5 1st generation that I use sometimes outside in summer months. The ZP90 works fine in the bar, but when the Play5 is connected, it also works fine and audio is stable, but then the ZP90 in the bar starts cracking up – intermittent – hiccup sound like a lose wire like on a microphone eg, the play 5 outside (only 6 meters away from the ZP90) works perfectly and audio is stable with no issues. The Zone player ZP90 is connected to the routed via ethernet cable, the Play 5 is working via wifi. This problem occurs both from my laptop and also same thing from my iPhone.I wondered if anyone could suggest a reason for this, or a solution to this issue as it is now doing my head in!
