So what I’m wondering is in the app when you have a the Era 100’s setup as surrounds for the Arc or Arc Ultra do you get settings to adjust surround and rear surround channels? Are they seen as just surrounds or surround and rear surrounds as well.On the Era 300’s I know you can adjust surround, rear surround and height channel volume.

I’ve had to uninstall the S2 app on my 2021 Motorola G phone as it just didnt work. This was a few months ago. I was thinking, ok Sonos developers screwed it up a bit, I’ll wait and try in a year. So should I try and see if it works now? Have they fixed it? Your thoughts? 

Looking at my Spotify Wrapped (their yearly summary) I can’t tell if it includes Sonos-initiated playback, or not.In our household it is my Spotify account that we use for Sonos, plus I also use it in my car.Now I love me some Taylor Swift, but I can’t tell if my wife’s use of Sonos playing her all the time has impacted my account stats, or not? Anyone know? Maybe your music preferences are more different than your household’s so its more obvious.

Hello,I can’t get Dolby Atmos from Sonos ARC Ultra neither via Sony TV XR-65A83L, via Apple TV 4K 2023 (supporting dolby vision and atmos), nor from PS5.I tried several settings but it is always showing PCM Compressed 5.1 on the Sonos app except in PS5 gaming (I forced option to Atmos but does not work for Media app only games)I tried different service as well, HBO, Prime, … with latest movies 4K Atmos but it does not work.The eARC HDMI entry is connected to the Sonos Arc Ultra. The PS5 to HDMI 4 supporting ALLM.The Apple TV 4k is connected to HDMI2 (HDCP 2.3).I need some help / advice.Thanks in advance,Abi

HalloIn der alten Version der App konnte man bei gesperrtem Bildschirm die Musik anhalten und die Lautstärke regulieren. Ebenso wurde in der Statusleiste diese Möglichkeit geboten. Die App hat alle Freigaben erhalten. Wir kann man das in der neuen Version der App realisieren, um schnell Musik ausschalten zu können? Es stresst wenn man angerufen ist und am anderen Ende des Raumes ist. Da ist es oft einfacher zur Box zu rennen um sie auszuschalten statt sie über die App zu steuern.Weiteres Thema: Wenn man die Musik über den Button am Gerät startet ist es umständlich die App erst zu starten und dann den umständlichen Weg zu finden wie man den richtigen Raum anwählt. Gibt es da einen besseren Weg? Kann man die App im Hintergrund auf den eingebundenen Geräten automatisch starten wenn die Bos eingeschaltet wird am Gerät?  Zudem den richtigen Raum vorwählen? Like many others on this forum, my Sonos system has suddenly stopped responding to Alexa requests.The Alex voice control doesn't appear in my sonos voice services and I am unable to add it as the alexa skill attempts to find devices before it allows the enable / setup to finish. As it never finds the sonos devices, the skill never re-enables, it just gets stuck in the "try again" cycle.   If I use the Alexa app, it lists the various sonos devices but when I click on each one it says the device is offline.All sonos devices and alexa devices are registered to my email account.  I'm in Spain, so the "remove the amazon shopping app" workaround isn't an option.Any suggestions would be welcome.… 

This is an odd one.  I just installed a mesh system.  All connectivity is fine with Sonos and other devices.  All speakers work via Sonos app, which I never use as I use Alexa.Alexa is acting odd.  With the speakers that have Alexa integration, I can ask a question like what is the temperature and I get an answer, so connectivity is fine.  If I say play radio station x or band y, she says she will play it, but she does not.  I can play these sources via the app to the very same speaker. I have two older Sonos speakers which are connected to Amazon dots.  On one of them, Alexa will start and stop music when requested.  On the other, she will start music, but not stop it, when requested.I cannot think of anything else to try and resolve this as I can’t see an obvious root cause.

I have a dedicated Turntable set up in which my turnatable is connected to a recevier and I want to be able to stream the musoic to a remote room.I am thinking of using the Sonos port and Era 3 speaker. Looking for feedback on how to get this done. The only input on the Port is via RCA jacks as the Optical is output only Hoping this will work. I appreciate any advice and feedback

I have all my Sonos speakers showing in Apple Music, but whenever I choose to play through a Sonos speaker it plays for 2 seconds and then the sound stops.  However the Sonos App shows that music should be playing.Anyone else had this problem?

Hi,i replaced two Sonos One SL (stereo) in my Kitchen with two Sonos Era 100 (stereo) and boy do i regret it.The Era 100 has really weak bass. I have to turn Bass +10 to get moderately good sounding bass. If i turn it to 0, the speaker sounds like a very cheap bluetooth speaker from 8 years ago and bass is so low, that you actually miss certain parts of the music. Since i have them, the left speaker in my stereo pair frequently outputs no audio for a couple of seconds. This is really annoying.Sonos One SLs were way more reliable and sounded better. What i already tried:Power cycled wifi router and both speakers mutliple times Bought an access point (AVM Fritz!Repeater 3000) which i put 5cm away from the Sonos Era 100. The speaker still randomly looses audio.I’m honestly pretty frustrated, the upgrade of the speakers were suppose to sound better, but it is a massive downgrade in both sound quality and reliability. Are there any known issues reg. firmware or something?

For what are probably very sound productivuty reasons, my empolyers network blocks traffic from TikTok and Snapchat but that is no issue to me becasue I don’t use them.  (it also blocks Deezer, but perversely not Spotify - go figure!).  However,  when I move around these Community pages, as well as those on the Sonos main site, when a new page opens I get alerts telling me that content from Tiktok and content from Snapchat is not permitted.  Are there “hidden” linke to those sites somwhere in the code of these sites or is there some other, more acceptable reason?

Hello everybody;I am using my Sonos equipment to create a Home Theater. I would have liked to use the following equipment :Sonos Arc Ultra : above the screen ((fixed to the wall above the screen : using the Sonos mount)) Sonos OneSL x2 : one located on the middle of the right wall and one located on the middle of the left wall Sonos Era 300 : located at the rear left and rear right; behind the armchairs Sonos Sub G4 : I don't really know where to put it. Below the screen? Next to the chairs? Behind the chairs? And I can add a Sonos Sub G3 so the bass is better distributed. So there would be 1 Sonos Sub on the right and 1 Sonos Sub on the left but I don't know where to put them.I tried this setup. But it doesn't seem to work. The sound is not like in a Home Theater. For example: Imagine someone is talking while being 1 meter behind you and 3 meters to the right. The speaker on the right wall + the speaker behind the chair on the right do not create a sound coming from the right rear. Ca

Hello there, do you know if I can connect a sub 4  to era 300 without an arc system ? 

 Why does opening a user created playlist in Amazon Music often not show the 3dot button that takes you to the 5 different choices?  Instead there is a single 3dot button that opens a screen with the one choice Save to Sonos Favorites. After enough unnecessary close-open-close-open-open a different playlist-etc. I can finally get the choices used for playing the playlist.    

If I use Apple Music or Spotify I have to constantly adjust the volume of songs. Very annoying. I never had that on my Sonos units at home but do at the office. If I connect via bluetooth it seems to be more consistent but via the Sonos app it’s ridiculous. I have a lot of older Sonos equipment so still using the original App. Don’t know if upgrading the equipment would make a difference. Again, same equipment at home and works fine. Any advice is welcome. Thanks

Hello All,am new to the Sonos Family and currently very impressed with speakers. Everything seems to operate correctly with CEC control but i can’t seem to play Dolby TrueHD audio from Plex using a 2019 Shield TV pro. The video plays fine with when using the TrueHD track, does not pass through the audio - there is no sound. The specs indicate that the Arc Ultra can support TrueHD tracks.What am i doing wrong?Also, i believe that the Arc Ultra does not support DTS-HD or DTS-X. Is there a way to trick to system to play those tracks by modifying the HDFury VRROOM setting or are those formats just not compatible with the Arc?Again… thanks for any help or suggestions here.Connection - Shield TV pro - HDFury VRRoom to Arc Ultra and Epson LS11000 separately.Tony  

I’m new to Sonos.  Took the dive with theatre completion: Sub4, 2xEra300s.  Now I have 45 days to see if they are worth the $$$.  I’ve deep dived many conversations here, but still cannot achieve Dolby Atmos.  This reminds me if building my Jeep… all the mixed info and dependencies on component and OS providers - ugh - my head hurts.First Impression:  Adding the sub and surrounds, moving my Arc out from under my TV which may have been blocking drivers and trying to establish Dolby Atmos, but getting from Dolby 2.0 output to Dolby multichannel PCM 2.0 -- the Arc came alive.  Much better, but not good enough to keep the Era300s yet.My system:Samsung QN85QN85BDF- Arc input to HDMI 3 eARC, Sound Output set to same.- External Devices:  Anynet+ (HDMI CEC) on- Expert Settings: HDMI-eARC Mode - Auto,  Digital Output - Auto, Dolby Atmos - on, (Pass Thru not active)Sonos:  Arc, Sub4, Era300 surroundsSource:  Xfinity StreamingI’ve tried “The Voice” broadcast in Dolby WAV to allow Atmos, MNF on ES

Hi community! Since I have a Sonos Arc soundbar and a pair of Sonos Era 300 speakers in my living room, I'm looking for a solution to easily switch from a Music configuration (era 300x 2 in stereo) to a Movie configuration (arc + era 300x2 in surround), without having to do the tedious and time-consuming manual configuration. For example, is it possible to create a room for the first configuration and a room with the second configuration? Knowing, of course, that it's the same pair of Era 300. Thanks for the help ! 

Hi Sonos Loves, I recently got a pair of Sonos Era 100 speakers, and they worked perfectly for about a week. However, AirPlay has stopped functioning. While Bluetooth and the Sonos app are working fine, the AirPlay issue has been quite frustrating.I have an iPhone 12 with the latest iOS, and I’ve updated all firmware and the Sonos app. I’ve also tried several community-recommended tips, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. Appreciate any tips

I just bought a Sub 4 to connect to one of my two rooms: living room or Basement tv.  the sub easily connects and disconnects from the living room but I cannot get it to connect to my Arc Ultra in the basement tv room.  any suggestions?

I’ve invested thousands and supported Sonos since it’s inception but all of my devices never work properly and go Missing regularly or the sound won’t turn up or down…..I’ve followed the whole app saga and been patient but it still makes my investment almost worthless……I even did the ceo@sonos suggestion and dint even receive the courtesy of an auto response……is the next step grouping together for class action or should we continue to wait?…..literally an audiophile with my audio cut off by my investment mistake!
