Hi - I’ve just got a new router. And I’ve been trying to connect my 2 play 1s to the new WiFi.  I’ve done a factory reset and connected a speaker via Ethernet. I’ve done the set up on the Sonos app and I can then play music via Spotify. When I try and set up the WiFi the app doesn’t find any device, so I can’t select my new WiFi and add password etc? It seems this process is exclusively Bluetooth, if my Bluetooth is off on the phone it forces me to turn it back on? Has anyone found a way to add new WiFi if they hit this hurdle? Ta

I am getting ready to install two ceiling speakers in my kitchen and connecting them to a Sonos amp in the living room. I’m wondering about wiring. The amp uses banana plugs but it looks like the speakers don’t. Will the holes in the ceiling speaker except banana plugs? can I tighten down or is it need to be unterminated  cable that goes into to the ceiling speakers?

We noticed today that our Sonos One speaker was no longer working or connected.  It is just flashing the white light, and no buttons on top are working.  I rebooted it, and it stayed flashing white light.  I attempted to factory reset it, with no luck.  I then contacted support, and they had me walk through all of the same steps, to try and factory reset it again, and it never took.  Ultimately they decided that it must have developed a defect, and I needed to recycle it and get a new one.  Before I do that, are there any other steps people have found to restart these things?  It was working flawlessly for years right up until a few days ago, and there have been no network or any other local changes in a very long time.  Thanks for any suggestions that people may have.

I have a simple Crosley Voyager Turntable that I’d like to connect via Bluetooth to my setup. I use a Beam and 2 Era 100 surrounds connected to TV. Turntable suggests I can simply put it and the desired speakers into pair mode to connect them.  My Era 100s are physically located right near the turntable though when I press the Bluetooth button on the Era I get no chime noise to indicate it can pair to anything. Any ideas?  

My Move won’t reboot/factory reset and won’t play music, or except a firmware update etc. Sonos tech support were very helpful and patient, but the device can’t be fixed. I’ve replaced it with a Move 2.  Now I want to remove the Move from my account here https://www.sonos.com/en/myaccount/system/households/devicesThe usual way to do this is factory reset the device.  What’s another way of removing it from my account? 

My playlists are multiplying meaning, 150 songs repeats into 32000 songs. It is messing with play and queue.ibuae YouTube music and playlists are fine there.How is this fixed?

So I’ve used this one maybe 20 times and now it does not start to turn. Blue light on 33 blinks fast. Can’t remember if it used to do that or stayed solid?  anyone know if this could be some software issue ?

I’m new to Sonos with an Era100 as a first move but I can’t work out how to play the numerous CD’s stored on my iphone to the Sonos speaker. Would appreciate any knowledgeable help.I don’t have any trouble playing from the stored apple music library via Bluetooth to my (old) car stereo using Siri voice commands and also no problem connecting to my wonderful (also old) Anker Soundcore portable speaker.i’ve searched the community files but so far only found 5 year old posts saying - tough, can’t be done. Perhaps these were pre Bluetooth on Sonos??Any tips?

Can I pair sonos arc ultra with my old sub?

I have a set of play one speakers, a sub and a sound bar.  The play ones and the sub were disconnected somehow but the soundbar connected to work. I have tried to reconnect the two play speakers and the sub, and they did briefly produce sound but stopped.  The room I selected says no content.  I don't understand how I'm not getting surround sound.

I got a new Samsung smart TV yesterday and have connected the Playbar to the optical port in the TV.  I changed the audio settings so it says “Receiver (Optical)” on the TV instead of the internal TV speaker.  The Playbar works but I can’t control the volume with my Tivo remote or the Samsung remote.  Further, I opened the Sonos app to control the volume from there and all of my Sonos components are missing (I have 2 Sonos Ones and a Sub).  I was able to re-add the Sonos Ones and the Sub, but the app can’t find the Playbar.  I’ve pressed the mute/+Volume till the amber light flashes, but the app still doesn’t see it.  I’ve unplugged the power from the Playbar and replugged, no joy.  Unplugged the optical cable from the Playbar and replugged, no joy.  Interestingly, while the audio is working from the Playbar, it is NOT working from the Ones or the Sub, even though I reconnected them to my wifi network.I’m at a loss about how else to troubleshoot.  Suggestions please?

Hi. I control my tv and music throughout the house via my phone app. Can I simply share the set up I have with others in the house so they can have full connectivity when I am not there? 

Hi all here.I have a Sonos Ray speaker that I’ve set up and connected to my system. I’ve also paired the remote control with the Sonos system, and it should now be able to control the volume up and down. The TV is a new LG 43" 4K LED TV (model 43UT91006LA). Although it was challenging, I managed to connect the remote control to the Sonos Ray multiple times. However, the system still isn’t able to adjust the volume. It is frankly incredible how utterly crap the sonos app is. Even when it was working a couple of weeks ago it took minutes to get any of my sources to play and 10 sevonds even to change the volume (though the sound was great!). But now, when I wanted to use the speakers for something other than the TV, I started the app and it says no products found (even though I can see two products in front of me working with the tv) and "Go to system settings". (And what and where is my system by the way? I've only got speakers and a phone app). Pressing the system settings button takes me to "update network" and "set up a new system". The first doesn't apply as if I've not changed my router and the second, well I never had an old system as I've already pointed out. I've tried rebooting my phone. I'm going to try switching the speakers off and on. 

hi, these are the oprions i have for audio output in my tv (eARC) -    and on the app, this what i get for each option (same order): dolby multichannel pcm 2.0dolby digital plus 2.0stereo pcm dolby digital 5.1dolby digital plus 5.1 tried tidal, and what not.. what to do? Thanks!!

Good morning, the new app doesn’t work on my device, a realme X2 Pro (Snapdragon 855 Plus + 12GB RAM + 256GB). The new app is not working. It simply won't start. Here are some pictures:The app shows a logo... It stays on the logo screen for minutes and minutes, then it just goes to a black screen. As you can see, it keeps trying to start, but it never does. Black ScreenI've tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, etc., but always the same result. It won't start.What can I do? I'm left without Sonos (I have two Sonos Play 1 and a Sonos Play 5 (Gen 2)).Thank you.

hi guys!so glad to join this comunity just bought my first sonos product - sonos arcwhen i first connected it to my earc hdmi port, i was able to see some nice patters when switching to this hdmi inout on my tvbut now i can’t seem to get it again - when moving to that input (hdmi 3 - earc) i get a blank screenthe arc itself works fine, with tv sound or sounds from app but there’s always a black screen (“no signal”) altough the arc is fully functioning  how can i see this visualisation again?  thanks!!!  

I have an old Connect which I've used to connect my turntable (which does have pre-amp) + amplifier + wired speakers to my Sonos (original Play:1’s and Play:3’s, so I can simultaneously play wired speakers and Sonos, using my tape monitor on the amplifier.  I was looking to purchase a Dayton HTA200 to replace my current amplifier, but it does not have a tape monitor setting, so I think I’d be forced to either play through my wired speakers or Sonos, but not both.  Is there a way to set this up with my existing system? or would a Sonos Amp be a better option to connect turntable, wired speakers and Sonos (S1) speakers? 

I have a turntable (Rega Planar 1 Plus) connected by line-in to a Five with another Five as a stereo pair.  Additionally I have an Arc, Sub, One, One SL, Beam, 3 Play 1s, Roam and Ikea Symfonisk in various rooms.I can group any or all of my other speakers without issue when streaming from Spotify but when I play vinyl through the Five then group other speakers, I experience annoying, intermittent drop-outs on my other speakers.  The Fives play fine.I have reset the system (by unplugging all of the speakers then the router then rebooting the router then connecting the speakers) but the issue is persisting.It seems strange that there are no issues when streaming but when I play vinyl the sound keeps dropping in and out.  I’ve tried playing Spotify on the Fives first then adding other speakers one at a time but all of the other speakers are fine with Spotify but suffer the same issue when playing vinyl.I have the facility to hard wire on of the Fives to a wifi extender by ethernet but not

I just changed internet providers— updated Sonos app— reset my Sonos 1 — all appears Ok but when I choose AirPlay and select the Sonos— it just jumps back to phone— all network connections seem ok- Sonos radio works fine too— just can’t connect — any thoughts?

Hi all, I have been upgrading my Sonos setup over the last couple years in my bedroom. The setup now is an Arc Ultra, Sub gen 3, and two Era 300s for rear surrounds. I realized recently through testing and research that I'm getting basically no proper Atmos effect from the height channels due to the shape of my room and the placement of the rears. Basically, the rear wall has a low slanted/vaulted ceiling since the room is a loft type setup. I am considering inverting them with wall mounts to try to salvage whatever Atmos sound experience I can, but they can realistically only go up about another 1-1.5 feet and not be that much further above ear level and I can't find much guidance on this kind of mid wall inverted mounting scenario. Right now they're perfectly at ear level when watching TV in bed which is great for the surround experience but bad for Atmos.Picture below for the current setup, any guidance would be appreciated. 

Hi, Anyone have any experience with a diagonal room viewing setup?  The 2 red dots are the usual viewing positions.  My question relates to the ERA surround placement, to be honest this is the only option for the room.In both listening positions the surrounds sit slightly forward of the listening plane for each person, will this still result in an immersive sound stage? Or should I just stick with the Arc and the Sub?  

Hi all,entering the Sonos world with an Arc Ultra, I found only half of my expectations to be fulfilled:TV works, Sonos Radio and Amazon Music run, and, using the Windows desktop app, I have been able to connect NAS media folder and Windows shared folder into the mobile app. Everything looks good, folders and music files are all visible and seem to be running, except there is no sound coming out of the speaker.Maybe one of you has an idea before I contact the support team.Many thanksGerd 

So recently I have been having issues with my Discord app on Mac. My phone app worked fine, but the Mac app was constantly crashing on loading and failing to update with a really obscure QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR and Google searching wasn’t turning up any results for a fix. All results referred to Google chrome itself, but not third party applications using QUIC. No matter what I tried nothing was working. After digging into QUIC and how it relates to UDP network packets, (faster handshaking for Web 2.0 applications) I went into my router (DrayTek) firewall settings and I had something called ‘UDP flood defense’ enabled. I disabled this, and immediately my broken discord app started working. On the router settings page it has the advisory text ‘enabling UDP flood defense option may affect UDP services like NAT-T VPN, DNS, VoIP. Well I’ve just proved it definitely affects QUIC! The reason I’m posting this related to Sonos, as Sonos is going down the cloud Web 2.0 infrastructure route with spe
