Hello, i am not much into Sonos systems and everything, but i have 2 Sonos One SL speakers which are working independently on two different locations. Now i want to buy Sonos playbar and my question is can i connect those two speakers to playbar to form some sort of stereo system where playbar would be in the front below tv and speakers would be back in each corner? Is this even possible, and also is it gonna work on LG tv?

I have Sonos Arc, Sonos Amp connected to two rear ceiling speakers and a Sonus Sub.   I have a one year old Samsung QE55S95C.   When I had my previous TV I had an Apple 4K box.  When this transmitted Atmos, I could see this on the app.    Now I have a new TV with eARC and Apple built in, I do not see the audio format on the app.   I am unsure if this is related to the new TV or the changes within the app. I have connected eArc from the TV to the Arc.When watching TV the app does not show the format of the sound as it used to do.  So when watching something that I know is in Atmos, the app simply says source HDMI.   If I go into settings to see each component on my Android phone, there is no line for “Audio In”When I go to settings on my iPad I get each component serial number, Sonos OS, Version, Hardware version, IP address and a line for Audio in.    However for no component is anything listed in “Audio in”I have spoken to tech support and they have confirmed that they can see that I

I don’t think I will get much sympathy but here goes.  We remodelled our living area last year and my husband would not do the research or perhaps did not care if the speakers (for surround sound) were hidden in the wall behind the primary seating area(which was my desire but not his). As a result the wiring /speakers which could have been in the wall are not.So we have two Era 300 white speakers and one white sub woofer (either the gen 3 or 4)- I do not know which. The modern, minimalist style condo (all white neutral colors) is open plan with the following rooms all open to each other and very few full height walls: living room(with the big TV, sonos beam or Arc(?) below the TV, an adjacent den, kitchen and dining room.  The sofa is against a 18’ h wall. Ceiling is sloped. Other than the TV wall,  which is actually not a solid wall but a custom wood 16’H room divider directly across from the sectional, there is no other wall nearby other than glass patio sliders. I have 4 Sonos Ports in my set up, all Ethernet wired to my network. I use my phone to play music to them, usually uttering “Siri play some music in the Backyard” (Backyard is the name of a port, in the room “Backyard” of my Apple Home set up). I also have tried picking a port in the output selector. In both of these scenarios, I see about 25% of the time, that Siri will say “OK” or the route is changed successfully in the picker, but then nothing is rendered on the speakers, even though the Apple Music playhead is moving as if nothing is wrong. I have checked my amp, my network, etc. and everything is fine.Interestingly, to recover, all I need is to turn off that route in the picker, and then selected it again, and immediately music is rendered. This leads me to believe it is an iOS issue, but I cant confirm. Has anyone else experienced this? It has been going on ever since I’ve had the ports, ~2 years or so.Since it isn’t 100% repeatable, it is slow to debug. I think it has something

i have a gen 3 sub that I’m connecting through the app on my iPhone (14 pro max) and it goes through all the setup steps to join my group just fine and works but it will not stay connected. it disconnects from the app and the network within minutes of working. I’ll reset the sub and redo the setup again only to end up in the same situation. Any recommendations?

Hi.I have a beam gen 1+2 one gen 1=sub gen 2.It will be a diference if ai put the one s as rear speakers and add 2 sonos one in front,or is it better to buy 2 sonos play 3 to put them as front speakers.thanks 

Hi, This is so frustrating, I hope you can help me resolve this issue. My system incl Arc, Sub Mini and 2 x Sonos SLs.  It is in my Lounge (the router is in this room too). From the start my system has had difficulty maintaining Wi-Fi contact with my router.  The present issue is that one of the surrounds suddenly stopped working.  Every attempt to add it back into my system fails as it merely creates a new System creating a new room named Lounge 2.  It is silent when watching TV. Given the difficulties I’ve experienced throughout I am loathe to do it but I’m wondering whether I should delete my Sonos account, factory reset all my components and start completely afresh.  What do you recommend? Many thanks, Terry

At the moment i have a beam and sub, both gen 1, for watching TV.For listening to music i would like to add some extra speakers, for example 2 era100/300>Is it possible to setup the extra speakers so they work with playing music and watching tv, and not only when playing music?For music i would like the extra Era 100/300 with the sub.For TV i would like the above and the beam.Is that possible? 

Before Sonos updated to the new app, the current music album cover would display in full-screen. However, with the new app, this feature has been removed, and the album cover now appears much smaller. Is there any way to bring this feature back in the new app?

Hi all, When i’m streaming music from my old connect, which is connect to a cd player or a turntable, the sound is having some little drops. Just a fraction of a second every 10 secs orso.I changed the channel in the sonos S2 app from 1 to 6 or 11. This changing did not help.The connect is in the same room as my other sonos speakers.Any advice on this would be great!

Current setup: Home theater group: -1 arc ultra (e-arc plugged in) -2 era 300s (as surround - 2 gen 4 subs… second group bound to first: Sonos amp (wireless connected) - 2 floor speakers 🔊, 2 era 100s… - one proper full sized sub  but I want more. Although I can do Atmos now with full audio fidelity because the amp is not plugged into e-arc… I was thinking about doing two Sonos ceiling speakers connected to a second Sonos amp however I realized it does not support Atmos and so I will not do that… I was also considering (I’m still considering), Purchasing one or two bluesound powernodes, Connecting everything, And then getting two ceiling speakers that have Atmos capability because the power nodes support Atmos Alternatively… What the hell else can I do? The only thing that comes to mind, While maintaining full Atmos fidelity, Is to get a second arc ultra, Connecting it wirelessly to the wireless amp, Placing it in the back… A few prayers… And full Atmos?  I don’t know.. Thoughts?  I w

How do I turn off the ads in the Sonos app?  This can’t be done from the app?  It’s supposed to be possible on the website, but I’ve followed some of the instructions I found in other threads and apparently the website has changed and the instructions don’t apply.  Thanks for making this unnecessarily difficult.  Nothing says We Have No respect For Our Customers like “bravely” releasing a terrible app, then using it to serve unwanted ads to people who have already paid hundreds or thousands of dollars for your products.  Complete failure to read the room, Sonos.

Hi I want to use the SONOS Connect to connect my conventional HIFI set to the SONOS environment.However upon putting a cable in the Connect box the SONOS system starts to make a "buzzing" sound ( like one used to have when a record player was not grounded correctly)The buzz is not always there nor is the volume not constantThe buzzing can be reproduced by actually touching the end of the cable that is connected to the Connect.I tried another cable with the same result. buzzing as well. What can be the cause of this annoying buzz, and how to overcome it? when actually connecting my HIFI set to the Connect the buzz is clearly audible when playing records  BR Bas 

All of a sudden, Alexa has stopped working in India. I thought may be it’s an issue with my system. I did a full reset of my Sonos Arc and Sonos Roam and added Alexa voice assistant. While the basic functionality of Alexa is working (asking time, weather etc), it just won’t play any music. Here is a response I am getting when I ask Sonos Roam - Alexa, play some music.response: sorry to do that first enable the skill for your Sonos roam in the Alexa app, then ask me to discover devices. (Similar case with Sonos Arc)in Alexa app, there is no SONOS skill listed to enable. (See the screenshot included below) I have been using Sonos for the past three years. Didn’t have to go through this process of enabling skill while setting up Alexa back when I installed Sonos for the first time.  if worked like a charm right after enabling it from the Sonos app (I didn’t even have to install Alexa on my phone, let alone enabling the skill).  I don’t know if this is just for me or something is seriously

Hi. I set up two Sonos Era 300 in stereo mode. The sound is very strange, the bass sometimes appears, sometimes disappears. The sound is not pleasing. The sound itself is sometimes louder, sometimes quieter. Did they mess up the firmware again? Even Sonos Beam 2 gives more bass.

I recently added a Google Nest WiFi Pro mesh system to my house.   Immediately after doing so the Sonos app on my Apple MacBook Air (2022 model) started saying:“Your computer’s firewall setting has changed.   Your Sonos controller can no longer connect to your Sonos system.”The thing is, my phone app still works just fine.   I can play music on multiple speakers all over the house just like normal.  So it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the mesh network - rather something with the MacBook app vs. the iPhone app.   Any ideas for a fix?   It sure is nice to flip through songs from my laptop while working vs. reaching in my pocket for the phone every time. Thanks!

Green light is on the Beam. It plays music through Alexa/ phone app, but does not play the tv audio. The tv settings do not show it being there even though it is plugged in to ARC socket. I don’t like the sound of the tv and desperately want the beam back on

Brand new sonos system. Arc ultra three hundreds as rear along with sub four. Set up the arc ultra through the latest sonos app. Added the 2 three hundreds and sub 4 for surround. No sound coming from the rears or sub. App says connected??

Hi everyone, I bought a house with a Sonos soundbar (arc), TV (Samsung), and an amp (Sonos)wired to 2 Klipsh speakers in the ceiling.  The seller left in a rush and gave no information about the system. The arc works OK, but the amp won’t get recognized by my router for some reason so no sound is coming out of the ceiling speakers. Any tips?

Help! My Iphone16 Pro can’t seem find and control our Sonos Play:1 speakers. Weirdly it did work for about 10 minutes before it then dropped out and disconnected.Iphone 16 ProiOS 18.1Router: BT Home Hub 5 Checks I’ve done:I can access and control the system via the Web Browser app. I have installed and reinstalled the iPhone Sonos app I have checked that the iPhone Sonos app is up to date I have instructed app to ‘forget current system’ and then reconnect to system The Sonos software is up to date I was sat right next to the wifi router and the sonos speaker whilst undertaking these checks and installations My husband can still control the speakersIssuesI can successfully connect to the system App also has successfully reconnected to streaming services But the Sonos App won’t list and display speakers. I received a Move 2 as a gift back in December. I was able to get it set up and connected to the SONOS app and also had no issues with bluetooth connectivity. I normally just connect the Move 2 through Apple Music or other family members connect to it through bluetooth. I recently went into the app to play music and my Move 2 was no longer shown in the app. I troubleshooted and tried to reconnect but nothing worked. Based on guidance for the app, I reset my Move 2 following the instructions (I had previously rebooted the Move 2 prior to reseting). Nothing has worked to get the app to recognize my Move 2. After multiple efforts, and after reading about all of the issues with the SONOS app, I just tried to turn on bluetooth and play music from my iPhone. Now Move 2 won't connect to my phone. I also pressed the bluetooth button on the back of the Move 2, but it no longer chimes when it's in bluetooth mode. Now nothing seems to be working on the Move 2.

Can I connect two components (a record player and a CD player) each with their own RC cables to one 3.5mm adapter? The 3.5mm adapter would have two pairs of RC ports on one side and one 3.5 out on the other side. Does such an adapter exist? I have the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable that I can connect to a pair of Era 300 speakers set up as a stereo pair using the 3.5mm Line-in port and their adapter and it works. I have a vintage Magnavox CDB 473 CD player that I can also connect to the same Era 300 speaker in the same way and it works. I want to leave them both connected to the same speaker so I can play from either one without disconnecting one and connecting the other. What do I need to do that?
