I have a Sonos system consisting of a Beam, which handles my television output, and two Sonos Ones serving as surround speakers. It’s been working splendidly, but recently I purchased a Sonos Era 100 to connect my CD player via its line-in. This has introduced issues that I'm struggling to resolve. If I play the CD player through the Era 100 alone, it’s perfectly acceptable, albeit a bit limited. However, attempting to play it through the entire system creates a problem when I next switch on the television. Either there’s no sound at all, or there’s a peculiar echoing conflict where the TV speakers and the Beam fail to synchronise. All I really want is to play CDs when I fancy listening to them and watch television when I wish to do so, with the system understanding which input I desire at any given time. Have I inadvertently created an impossible conflict, or is there a solution? Can anyone assist me, please?

I would like to share with you a small success related to my Sonos. I did not expect a solution to my problem until suddenly it was found! I would also like to greet and comfort my American friends. Hang in there! Here in Poland, we have been holding out for 10 years. As you can see, I have a lot of it:My last purchase, two weeks ago, was ARC Ultra, but I missed one thing both before, with Beam and now, with Ultra. I wanted to listen to the music and, at the same time, watch and listen to sports from TV. Unfortunately, my TV set with eARC, a 7-year-old Samsung Q75, did not allow switching to the TV speakers when connected to a Sonos soundbar. Of course, this is not Sonos' fault but the eARC standard. But I did not give up and …… I found FeinTech VAX04101 HDMI eARC Pass Switcher 4x1. Well, I understand. A match, European football, soccer. Stadium atmosphere and Mad Season! I highly recommend it.By the way, Sonos. When will there be the option to save playlists? I have the latest update a

“New” iOS mobile app still does not display my full list of Sonos Favorites while the MacOS app does show them all.  Please fix this.

I recently had a first generation Play 5 speaker go belly up, and now have 3 remaining first generation Play 3 speakers and was forced onto the new SONOS (2) app which has been a terrible experience with very slow response to changing tracks, loading queues, everything. I tried the complete router & speaker reboot that was suggested on other posts here, and that helped *a bit* it’s still slow but better. My question is: Is this a problem people experience with the new app talking to old speakers? Or do people with newer generation speakers have the same issue with the new app? I want to get a set of new ERA 100s but not if the app experience is going to be like this.

Although I use the Sonos 2 app to control my new components, I also use the old Sonos 1 app to play music in my basement. Unfortunately, the Sonos 1 app is suddenly not able to play anything from my music library. I can play radio through the old app, but when I select Albums, Composers, etc., all I get is a little logo with the text, “No selections are available.” Very frustrating.

Any hep/advice greatly appreciated. Updates run fine on iPad and iPhone. Many thanks!

I purchased a Era300 at Best Buy two months ago and I absolutely hate this speaker. The crackling and popping coming from the speaker is so load that it drowns out the sound from my beam and Era 100s. I've tried all the remedies I have seen posted but from what I'm reading here Sonos doesn't really care that the Era300 is crap. What remedies do we have as a community to force Sonos to fix these concerns. Serious buyer remorse.

What should I do?I got 2 Sonos Symfonisk lamps as a gift.  I was excited!  I had heard such great things about Sonos speakers.  However, little did I know… I can’t add Spotify as a service and I can’t use voice control (a function I was looking forward to).  Spotify is my main concern.  I contacted support to figure it out, and they said Spotify is not supported in my region.  I live in South Korea, for the record.  I’ve been using Spotify for years.  My family also uses Spotify.  We’re also a Samsung family (again… we’re in South Korea) so Apple Airplay is not an option.  The only thing I could do is subscribe to Apple music, but that means I have to convince my family to switch services as well, forsaking years of playlists and song curation.  If I could at least connect to the speakers directly via Spotify, that would be more than enough for me.  In fact, that would be ideal.  However, that doesn’t work either! Make it make sense!

Thought i would post this, as there doesn't seem to be a fix.Completely random situation. Add 2 or 3 music to the queue and then try to add another and it says 'Unable to add to queue'. Clear the queue and add 1 song and it plays and i can view the empty queue. Try to add another song and you get 'Unable to add to queue' What !!!Clear the queue follow all the the info from my last post. Restart router, etc. Then add songs to queue, i can view, edit, etc. Clear the queue do the same thing and try to view again 'Unable to view queue. Try again later'. Clear the queue and add 1 song, all good, view queue o.k. try to add song and 'Unable to add to queue '.Tried multiple times, over a few days, weeks, etc. Same thing, random all the time. Sonos tech go through the same thing, restart router,  etc. Just the same. Getting fed up, as there doesn't seem to be a fix. Loads of app updates but still not fixing. Just an update to this. If I use Plex app for music, no issues, I can add, remove, upda

I’ve got a Sonos One SL (Model 922). It connects wirelessly to both my iPad (OS18.4.1) and iPhone (OS 18.4.1). I can stream music from either idevice (not at the same time). So far so good. I’ve also got a Mac Mini M2 (OS 15.4.1) I am unable to wirelessly connect the mini to the speaker. The Sonos S1 Controller app (updated to latest) won’t find it after pushing the button on the speaker. I had it Ethernetted at one point, however I want a WiFI connection (I did factory reset before connecting to idevices). Mini is ethernetted to router and also on house WiFI. What is the magic to wirelessly connect speaker to mini? BTW, I tried adding the S1 controller app to the firewall to allow all incoming connections (per instructions), however that disappears. It seems the Mini doesn’t like the S1 controller app.

I would like to have the results from a search list items according to my preference.  I’ve been using Sonos for many years because I could prioritized by music library, not paid streaming services.Searching from the home screen has music library as the LAST group!?  Why Sonos?  I can rearrange the home screen to have my music library first, how do I have my music library results first in search results.I know I can go to the music library first then search, but why make this an extra step.  Why do you push streaming services first, because it is financially advantageous to you?  Unless I am missing a setting, I see no way to change the search order results. Please give us music lover back the control to set our own priorities.

I have a Play 1 in the bedroom which shows up as not connected on the S2 app on iPad. How do I reconnect it or remove it and reconnect? Neither of these options appear in the app. Screen shot attached.

Hey guys,I've got a question about the Sonos app. Yesterday I added a second SUB to my system, but I can't find the info about mySUB. I'm not seeing an arrow like in the attached picture (SUB 3). The SUBs are on the same network and everything works. Do you know why this is happening? Thanks in advance

I just purchased the Sonos arc sound bar which I could integrate into the system but I cannot integrate the sub as all the sudden my account is not recognized anymore as owner. Me being the only one who is in the system.I just purchased the Sonos arc sound bar which I could integrate into the system but I cannot integrate the sub as all the sudden my account is not recognized anymore as owner. I have a new TV, Sony Bravia A95L 55”, initially while I was waiting for delivery of a new Arc Ultra & Era 300’s for surround I used my old setup, Playbar, Sub Gen 2 & 2 x Play 1’s for surrounds with the new TV, Playbar connected via optical cable. All was fine. When the new stuff arrived I connected it all up, Ultra via eArc HDMI etc, I now have a few issues; Occasional disconnection from the Sonos and back to TV speakers, without me doing it. When I reselect the Sonos, its fine. When I turn on the TV in the morning, by switching on the Sky Q box, more often than not not the TV shows nothing on the Sky Q channel, I have to restart either the Sky Q or TV, then its fine. When I fast forward, rewind or pause on programmes, when the sound comes back I get a nasty noise from the speakers. this seems to be only on Sky recordings and not all the time (see clip)Any ideas as to what it could be? 😋

Does turntable require a wire to connect to Sonos because I was wondering the to keep the beauty of wireless and add a turntable to it does that is possible ?

I can no longer add songs to my Sonos playlists, nor create new ones. This happened when Sonos updated their app and still hasn’t been rectified. For the amount I’ve spent on Sonos speakers this is a disgrace. There is no reason why Sonos could not have fixed this problem. The app update should not have been released until Sonos had tested it to ensure playlists could be used correctly on all platforms. When will this be fixed?

Hello! Wondering if anyone has faced similar issues when updating your era 100, i cant seem to update this speaker and im not sure if its an internal app issue.I have tried several things after contacting sonos support that DID NOT work:Factory Resetting the speaker Resetting the app Connecting from a different iOS device Signing in and out Transferring ownership (to myself) Moving it closer to the router Deleting and Redownloading the appMy network system is configured differently so i cant just reset the router. Im not so sure what’s wrong because i was able to connect my other era 100 speaker after facing similar issues. The unregistered speaker is also working fine as i was able to connect and play something via bluetooth. I would just like to register it so that i can pair my era 100.Any help would be appreciated!!

I am trying to prevent Sonos from playing on all speakers in the house when the TV is turned on. This only happens after music is played from an earlier time, paused and then later the TV is used. I usually have to turn all the other speakers down when the TV is turned on to prevent the TV sound being on multiple speakers- like in another room where someone is sleeping! How can I just turn it off in the app?

hi can anyone else with ERA 300’s confirm if they click (make a static type noise) just before the music starts and a couple of seconds after it is paused? I’ve just purchased a pair and noticed in a quiet room this noise. It sounds like the noise is made when the speaker wakes up and when it sleeps. Anyone else hearing this?

Where has the content service Radioapp gone? It is no longer available since i upgraded to the new app.

Hi everyone,I have a setting problem of Arc and Port.  My Port is now connecting to my Hi Fi system for streaming music which works fine.  The problem is I cannot add Arc into the same Sonos app.  The App can’t find a new component while I try to adding into the existing system. The Arc is mainly for TV watching.  Anyone can advise if it is possible to put both devices into the app so that I can control through the app.  Many Thanks.

Hello, I’ll try to be as detailed as possible so here we go.  I currently have and Arc, Sub and 2x One SL’s in my living room. With the arc connected to the TV and the sub and 2 One SL’s linked to the Arc in the same ‘Sonos room’ (living room), this is my surround sound setup which I also use to stream spotify through. I also have a Sonos move which is separate but can link with my Arc and play the same audio and can be carried around the house and into the garden for example. My question is this, if I was to connect a turntable (with a built in pre amp) to the Sonos amp and then to passive third party speakers in a separate room (my upstairs office) would I also be able to play this audio (from the turntable) simultaneously on the rest of my Sonos system (surround sound and move) wirelessly through the SONOS app? Or is this not possible?  I hope that makes sense, and help is appreciated.

Hi! I have some weird and annoying problem with my One SL. When I initially start playing music from my iPhone or iPad via AirPlay, there is just silence. It takes about 2mins or so before it then suddenly starts playing. Alternatively I always need to kinda kickstart the speaker by playing something through the Sonos app. And then also AirPlay work fine.I use these speakers only every now and then. I suppose so they have enough time to eventually go into some kind of sleep or deep sleep state… The problem does not occur when they are idling just for a day or so. When I start AirPlay it connects (so no connection errors), and also the LED on the speaker lights up (I think). Also music on the phone is happily playing. Just, there is no sound.Anyone else has that problem or knows what I can do?
