I would like to share with you a small success related to my Sonos. I did not expect a solution to my problem until suddenly it was found! I would also like to greet and comfort my American friends. Hang in there! Here in Poland, we have been holding out for 10 years.

As you can see, I have a lot of it:

My last purchase, two weeks ago, was ARC Ultra, but I missed one thing both before, with Beam and now, with Ultra. I wanted to listen to the music and, at the same time, watch and listen to sports from TV. Unfortunately, my TV set with eARC, a 7-year-old Samsung Q75, did not allow switching to the TV speakers when connected to a Sonos soundbar. Of course, this is not Sonos' fault but the eARC standard.

But I did not give up and …

… I found FeinTech VAX04101 HDMI eARC Pass Switcher 4x1. Well, I understand. A match, European football, soccer. Stadium atmosphere and Mad Season! I highly recommend it.

By the way, Sonos. When will there be the option to save playlists? I have the latest update and I still don't have this option. Second question. Why can't I arrange my devices according to my preferred order and not alphabetically?

I manage as you can see, but why couldn't I do it differently?

Why is it that when I listen to music and after switching to the TV for a moment, the list I'm listening to disappears and I have to arrange it again? And searching for songs or bands. You're far from a perfect solution with this. I'll end here.

Greetings to all users and those who make Sonos, giving us, after all, great fun.

Hello @Greg Shamu, welcome back!

I am glad to hear you were able to find a solution to your problem.

The ability to create or edit a Sonos Playlist is here with the latest update on the Sonos App, but it arrives gradually to every Sonos system. If it’s not there for you yet, please be patient as it should activate for you soon.

Second question. Why can't I arrange my devices according to my preferred order and not alphabetically?

Sonos Rooms appear in alphabetical order in the Sonos App, but all currently playing will appear above those not playing.

I’ve noticed in my own Home Theater system that when I play music on my HT room and turn on the TV - the music source is being replaced by the TV source, but the queue is still saved and there if I turn off the TV.

Thank you for the feedback, it is much appreciated. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request for the below two points.

  • The ability to customize the order of which your Sonos Rooms appear in the Sonos App.
  • The ability to switch back to the Music queue from TV source on your Home Theater Sonos Room.

I hope this helps.

Hey! Thanks for your reply.

I’m glad I could inspire Sonos to create new functionalities.

We'll stay in touch.
